Page Boy As for my contribution, i have to say i'm not a fan of Celesse's artwork. I dont really find anything that interesting about her cute anime styled work. Even when the chracters she draws aren't cute, or supposed to be darker, etc...they always sort of turn out that way. There's no edge to her stuff. It doesn't seem like her illustrations ever really show emotion, just symbols for emotion, if that makes sense? that sort of disconcerts me about her work.

Goat is kind of like that x-x except it isn't that his drawings aren't good, it's that they break all kinds of very fundamental anatomy rules. XD

The Iconoclast Plonky the Wondercat sorry guys it looks like my complaints are all made out of webcomics because... well, i don't talk about anything else these days, a little. a softer worldi hate photo comics so much these days and joey comeau is so pretentious that it makes me look like a kind and humble citizen also, basically almost everything on keenspot.com. Today's comic made me want to bulldoze his sparsely furnished loft. >:[ totally late, but this made me giggle. kincade is a constant punchline 'celesse' i've never heard of, but lookin' at her art, i am not too impressed. any deviantart celeb who is like I AM CG ALL OVER THE PLACE! but is essentially shitty anime-derived cutsey muck just does not impress me. who is that Sith Lord Ali guy? that image you linked to was so terrible. in other comic news, http://www.pvponline.com/i don't know why anybody reads it. i don't know why it's popular. i don't know why people kiss scott kurtz's a**. or like listen to him at all. www.questionablecontent.com QC is to webcomics as kincade is to painting or like Friends, or something. http://www.achewood.com/no... just. no. this one is actually subject to a lot of discussion because people apparently sometimes like it that aren't dumb? so i don't know. but i don't see it myself.

PVP is pandering to a clique. It is Family Circus but instead of old retards it's for gamer retards. I TOTALLY AGREE ABOUT QC i thought i was the only person in the world who didn't like that comic, i love you heart Achewood is another nichey one, for fans of oddball stuff. I wouldn't call it terrible but it certainly is puzzlingly popular. Pokey the Penguin is the same way. It's so weird that it has a following based solely upon that.

Sith Lord Ali is a popular user in General Discussion, a "prommie", so to speak. This is the only reason I can think of that his art sells for as much as it does. I've never "gotten" PvP, either, frankly. Who needs two gaming webcomics when you've got Penny Arcade? And the Questionable Content site... is down. Down hard. biggrin Is that helicopter Strong Bad? o_o;

Shes done a few really good things, but that ego is just...whew... eek Edit: Oh, and Queen of DorksShes a very talented artist, but it seems like she posts only the most cutesy things she can possibly think of. She strikes me as someone who has the potential to be really great, but she's not there yet by any means. I'm not sure I'd call "Queen of Dorks" a "very talented artist". I mean, she's okay, and all. Her work's very clean. But "Graphic designer with a sound understanding of market appeal" would be more fitting.

I personally really like Loish's art work. Her female characters tend to look similar...but she has some really awesome CG skills and even does really cool things with just backgrounds and more than just girly art.

SilverTiger The only person who immediately comes to mind that isn't someone I know from the furry art community years ago (I've got stories, but I'll spare you) is old snapesnogger on DA. But I don't know how much she counts since every artist I know (and many I don't know, and people who aren't artists) is always hatin' whenever she comes up in discussion. Not that I disagree or anything, but 3 million pageviews. What the ********. I have to wonder if a good deal of those hits are just from people coming to gaze in horror.

But yeah, totally agree with you. I really, really, REALLY don't like Snapesnogger. Her style irritates the hell out of my and she's a b***h. For serious. You won't believe how happy I was when one of her pics got deleted from the Main Hall at OekakiCentral.
I don't like Nicole 1725's art very much, either. Granted, she does have a few good pieces here and there, but some of her anatomical mistakes are just so glaringly awkward that it makes me cringe. That and she's constantly telling people how much she sucks and, for some god-awfully irritating reason, can't use punctuation. AT ALL.
Then there's Manga punk sai. Um. I don't know. I hate how she does faces and how disgustingly cookie-cutterish their style of anime is.
Dammit. It is just so disgustingly ironic how I can't remember the deviantart screenname for the artist I probably have the biggest grudge on. All I remember is that she was relatively young and almost always had one of her prints on the front page. I hated her works because it was so glaringly obvious that she just used these disgusting photoshop tricks like the dodge and burn tool and used more annoying sparke-brushes than a ******** star would need in an entire lifetime.
Staying on deviantart is filling me with artistic rage. This probably isn't good for me. neutral

I hate warlockss on Deviantart.
Guy is the biggest egomaniacal p***k I've ever known, as far as artists go.
If you're familiar with him, I was the one to get his work banned from Deviantart. neutral
Hate me now if you like.
He stole a bunch of Eiji Kaneda's line art and colored it and refused to give him any credit whatsoever. Which was hard for him cause his English is not very good, so I helped him out.
But yeah. Warlockss is a complete a**.
Also, I agree Snapesnogger is a b***h. xd I also don't like Thomas Kincade. My mom is really fond of him though and we had some of his work for awhile... neutral
Fishdoll looks like she only picks her friends based on their icons.
I don't really like Loish's drawing style, but I like how she colors.
Okay, done ranting.
