Nadyrr sighs slightly and looks around his little corner of the garden. Or rather the little corner he decided to claim for himself. Leaning over he takes the small spade and starts making a spot for the bush of white flowers he had found for planting. Smiling a little he sets the plant in place and pats the ground around it.
With a soft murmer Nadyrr eyes the area, and then gets up stretching his legs out and looking around the garden. He'd taken to the indoor garden area recently and tilt his head slightly realizing he could hear others further within the complex of the building. Nadyrr frowned realizing he hadn't even looked at his class schedule for sometime, at the idea of heading into the school once more his stomach fluttered. There were more students now and he didn't know if he really wanted to bother with trying to meet them.
Sighing gently he looks down at his now grubby hands, "better go clean up...and maybe I should see where I'm actually suppose to be." With a last look over the gardens he then leans and picks up his tools. His absence had been long, he wondered if he would be able to catch up with his classmates. Then he wondered if he would ever be very worried about doing so...
======================================
Nadyrr stepped out of the shower, grabbing a towel he wraps himself up the best he can glancing around the showering area for anyone that might have wandered in while he cleaned up. Hurriedly Nadyrr makes his way to his room. Pulling on his clothing he glances at the clock and then his schedule, with a frown and realizes how late he will be for the class in session at the moment. Grabbing his hat Nadyrr doesn't bother to finish drying his hair or combing it out as he darts out the door.
Might as well try and see if I can get anything from this class started or not... his thoughts come in a rather depressing tone in his mind as he speeds up down the hall.

Nadyrr stops to throw a few things in his room between classes, seeing the note on his door he reaches up and picks it up. With a small smile he tucks it away grabbing a few things he'll need before hurrying back off down the hall. The next free chance he got he'd get directions to Raelyn and see where she needed him to get started at.
He idly wondered what she would be like as he hurried down the hall.

Free period; Cooking class make up - journal entry
Cooking…well in the traditional sense it isn’t the same as one would think. This class wasn’t all about cooking cakes or other sorts of foods rather it had to do with potions. The teacher seemed real nice, I bet if I spoke to her sometime she might be able to help me with the class a bit – because really I don’t think I’ll remember anything from it. I saw Antigone in class. She was sitting with another Choleric, seemed to be pretty sweet on him. She was always really nice so I hope he’s good to her and such; but she really seemed to know what was going on in the class. I should see if she has time to show me a bit more about potions – because I took these notes and they make no sense now.
I met a new girl; she let me have a look at her notes since I was late to the class. She seemed nice, her notes seemed to be put together a lot better then my own. She didn’t seem to think that she would do well with the class – figure it just might not be her thing. I think I’ll take some time and say hello to her again. If nothing else she might be nice to study with; she didn't seem adverse to that sort of thing either...even let me look at her notes after class.
I get this feeling like everyone else knows what they want to do…or where they are going with things. And well really I don’t know what I’m doing or going with anything. I suppose with this class it's good that at least I didn't blow anything up; not that I really had much of a chance.

-Response to Philosophy Class-
I wasn't overly sure what to make of this class at first. Really in some ways I still am not. There was alot to take in and alot to consider...especially with the subject matter. Considering deities and other such things seemed to get everyone's attention. It was certainaly a topic that most could have some opinion about and that many could become emotional about. In a way it seemed to put ones morality on the line and make you look at yourself about what you do and do not believe. For some I think having to think so much on such issues gave them strain. Myself I hadn't really thought of them; but considering deities and where they are in my life doesn't really change anything for myself.
I don't pray, perhaps someday I will...but I wouldn't normally try and lay too much on the shoulders of a deity. I agree with those in my class that were more of the opinion that we should rely on ourselves first be fore any others. At first many seemed to think of it as more reliable to need your own strength for things and then considered how it could also be disrespectful to a higher power to try and get them to do things for you...especially if you were capable of them yourself.
During class I met a girl named Galadrea, she seems pretty nice and enjoys the gardens as well. The discussion seemd to have an effect on her. I may see about Trying to talk to her sometime about it. To see where others stand.
Of everything we talked about, the discussions we had about those that die and lose their additions and those that are in some way corrupted were definantly the most disturbing. With talks of how none that had a patron deity ever lost their additions upon death it seemed to give some sort of proof to the existance and power of gods. Though I can't help but wonder who decides if someone has been worshipping their deity enough to be faithful and who has not? There are many things that could be factored into such a phenomonon. Not that I don't believe it is possible...rather I am not all for dropping everything to rely on some outer power.

Nadyrr paused along the path, further out in the flowers of the Floral Gardens Istas was hiding. He had just gotten the hybrid from his order to Danna and was finding himself rather pleased with the creature. She was not only helpful but also soothing and nice to have around; the quiet boy did not have many friends so having a companion even in hybrid form was pleasant.
He paused near an area toward the side of the main path, putting down the small tray of tools he looked over the area. Here and there small sprouts had started peeking out of the ground. Now they were a bit indistinguishable as to what they would be but Nadyrr knew in a few more weeks they would become full fledged spider flowers. Despite the name the flowers themselves were rather lovely to look at.
Istas trotted up from her investigation of the gardens and laid her head down to watch Nadyrr as he started on his work. Carefully he took a small spade and added a bit of fertilizer to the ground around the spider flowers. They really didn't need an over abundance of care right now but he wanted to be sure not to suffocate the poor things. Once he had the fertilizer laid out he then moved to watering them with a small can from the trap.
Istas wagged her tail curiously snuffling the ground and then laying somewhat at peace amongst all the plants in the area. Smiling to the animal Nadyrr then cleaned his hands on a work cloth amongst his things, he would have much to do in the gardens in realized as he looked around. The place was huge, beautiful, and even very peaceful.Spider flowers: [1][2]

Botany Prompt Botany has proven to be of some interest to you in the last few weeks. Perhaps it’s time to start to get involved in the discipline. As an amateur botanist, the first things to learn are the properties of the plants you will deal with and how to split seeds. What plants do you choose? Are they used for anything in particular? How do you learn to split seeds? You must choose 3 seeds to split – they must come from different plants. The list of flora in Quenda’s post in the Professor’s Thread is a good resource but anything that is used in 3 star potions or above are off limits for an amateur botanist. To check to see if you’ve successfully split a seed, roll 1d100 and get a number that is higher then 65. For each failed try, reduce the required number by 5 (so if you fail the first attempt, the new required number is 60). Make these rolls in your journal and incorporate the success or failure into your studies.

Nadyrr stood back a moment looking over the various plants in front of him. They were all suppose to be types of acacia but their appearance made him wonder. Some appeared to be shrubs while others had grown to the size of more full grown trees. With somewhat of a frown he sighed and moved forward taking out a bit of paper before looking to the closest plant. Silver Wattle, Coast Wattle, Black Wattle, and Blackwood seemed to be the types in the area he was in, he needed to trim the trees so they stayed trees and do the same to the bushes but keep them bushes. With a frown he wondered what would happen if the plant was just allowed to grow on it's own..."giant bushes." he murmured. As if responding to him Istas snuffled at his pant leg seemingly amused.
Pausing near the outer ring of silver wattle plants Nadyrr tilted his head in curiousity. It seemed that the silver wattle was used as more of a decoration close up he could see the somewhat silvery leaves and the yellow flowers upon it. With a slight smile he pulled on some gloves and started pruning the plants. A sharp p***k intercepted his wrist as he turned his hand to pull off the first bit of trimmings. Frowning and moving his hand back Nadyrr looked down as blood started to flow over his wrist, quirking a brow he looked more closely at the plant in front of him; he then knew why the more attractive acacia was used as protection for houses at times wicked looking prickers covered the plant concealed by the silvery leaves and lovely flowers. Grumbling to himself Nadyrr murmured again, "going to have to be more careful." Moving more slowly with his pruning he soon made it through the more decorative shrubs running a hand over his brow he came away with sweat and frowned slightly. It seemed the care he needed was more taxing then he realized.
Pulling his gloves off Nadyrr moved to his bag taking out a small book he borrowed from the library as he did. Taking a drink from his water bottle he flipped the book open until he found a passage in the herbalism book on acacia. Grumbling slightly he noted he should have taken a read before starting with the plants as the first thing noted was the pricklers. Quirking a brow he glanced over toward the cuttings he had taken, seems that the scent was popular for incense. Wiggling his nose slightly he leaned down and took a sniff of the clippings considering a moment he wondered if he'd be allowed to keep the cuttings and if he'd be able to figure out how to make a decent incense. Deciding to turn his water drinking into a small break he continued to read, it seemed the plant was also useful for curing a variety of ailments...rabies and Nadyrr flushed as he read the last part of the list, premature ejaculation.
Clearing his throat in embarrassment even though he was alone he decided he had better get back toward the acacia plants that had grown into trees instead of shrubs. Pulling the gloves back on he pushed the shrubs out of his way walking past the line of them. Istas darted behind him the hybrid somehow not catching even one hair of fur on the prickly plants. Directly behind the line of acacia shrubs Nadyrr glanced up toward the nearest tree, luckily they were spaced enough apart that it appeared that he'd be able to move between the plants. Wandering forward there seemed to be a sort of path in this part of the garden; moving down it he found himself in a sort of tunnel of the wickedly barbed branches. Attempting to keep his arms close he moved down it wondering how large of the area he was going to need to prune actually was. A brush of air over his head caused him to turn, reaching up with a frown he realized his hat was gone. Twisting around he didn't see it on the ground behind him, meaning it hadn't just gotten blown off his head...with a sigh he glanced around again and then up. Frowning the green boy spotted his hat it was stuck to one of the branches, sighing he reached for it only it find it just barely out of reach.
"How did it..." not only had the tree stolen his hat but it had done it more strangely then he would have assumed. Hopping he extended his arm grabbing the hat rather easily with help of the added jump. A soft crackling went up the arm of the tree as Nadyrr found himself caught by the sleeve by the same bramble that had taken his hat. Not wanting to rip down on the branch Naddyrr stood awkwardly in the middle of the path with his arm up in the air attached to the pricklers of the tree. Wiggling his arm in an attempt to free it he found that it appeared to be stuck fast. He did find that his arm was slipping out of the sleeve, with an embarrassed sigh Nadyrr continued pulling his arm out; twisting with a good bit of flailing Nadyrr stumbles finding himself on his backside. Groaning the choleric allowed himself to fall back and stare up at his shirt dangling from the branches of the tree.
He wasn't allowed to lay too long before Istas bound over and leaned licking her master's face. Wrinkling his nose and then chuckling Nadyrr rolled over and stood up again, "alright! alright! I'm up." Running a hand through his blond straw colored hair he scooped up the clippers from his bag using his shirt to pull down the offending bramble he then clipped the sweater free. Tugging the bit of branch free he dropped it in the bucket he had for collecting clippings. Swinging his sweater around intent on putting the baggy piece of clothing back on, he found it caught on yet another branch. Rolling his eyes and muttering he freed the sleeve again and then decided to keep it tied around his waist it seemed he wouldn't be able to get free of all the pricklers so easily. Disgruntle y Nadyrr started on the pruning the sooner he was done the sooner he could get out of the mess.
