Ihlo was an excellent shield, indeed, and Jini had become quite self-assured and content while she hid behind the other female, making somewhat rude faces at Sairin.
It wasn't until their mother moved that she spotted the third cub and, slightly put-off by his shyness which she mistook for lack of interest, Jini wandered over to him.
"Why don't you come and play?" she asked, wondering if she'd frightened him too.
Perhaps sneakiness wasn't the best way to make friends. She sighed and mentally kicked herself for not realizing that earlier.

Ithlo's first swat caused Sairin to back down a bit, getting a most unhappy look as he raised a paw, taking a swipe back irritably. Hey! Who did his sister think she was?
.....
Aside the fact she was teasing him, a fate Sairin did not like at all.

Ihlo was revelling in this sudden shift of power to the girl's side of things. She continued to lightly bop his nose, unaware of her living shield - aka mother - moving away from the youngsters. As Sairin swiped, it was now time for Ihlo to wrestle and tumble.
"Rah!" she tried to emit any kind of scary-sound, but wasn't all that impressive in the end.
She pounced onto her brother and tried to intiate a tumble-ball between them.

"RAAAHHH!" Sairin tried sounding as aggressive as possible, getting caught in the ball of claws, fluff, and fighting, even if it was mock. His pride was comprimised! What could he do!?
...
Well, hide, but hey.

Harabu had been wandering about, letting memories return of his childhood. Things had changed so much.
His ears pricked at the sound of voices. He turned to head towards them, stopping suddenly as a familiar black and white female came into view. He snorted, watching them for a while. What was she doing here? He didn't think for a second that the cubs with her were his, it wasn't like the were instantly recognisable as his kids.

He blinked up at the new female cub curiously as she asked him if he wanted to play. He muttered something under his breath, and shyly said, "Can Tota play?" He glanced over to his wrestling siblings and rolled his eyes. At least he was mature enough not to fight like that!
Or were they playing? He shrugged, not really caring, but it did look like a lot of fun... out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a grown lion that was completely black, almost like his mother. Ignoring him as the lion was leaving them alone, he grinned a little at Jini. "Tota'keke! You?" He still believed in simple phrases, and he got his point across, anyway.

((Dun dun duuuun!))
Ah, he was socialising... Finally. Ishara smiled, watching Tota talk with Jini a moment. Her gaze soon turned to her older two, raising an eyebrow at the fighting. It was rather cute to watch, and it amused her, but she would break it up soon enough.
One ear flicked. Someone was near by... Sniffing the winds, the lioness looked around before her eyes fell upon a dark lion in the distance. She couldn't see him clearly, but she could tell he wasn't Asi or anyone related or who had much contact with someone related to the mocha lion. Naturally, she got defensive and stepped between the other lion and the four playing cubs.

Ihlo was thoroughly enjoying this, even if her brother over-powered her eventually. Still, she wouldn't give up. After he'd flattened her in the tumble-ball and then began his escape, she gently caught his tail in her mouth and would have intitiated a new game of 'tug of war' had it not been for her mother's sudden change in composure.
Ihlo's eyes very rarely missed something, and whilst she was not keen enough of sight to see what her mother had seen, she clearly saw her mother's aggitation.
"Mother?"

Sairin had spun to bat at Ihlo when he spotted Ishara's movement and spun to see where she was looking, straightening as if his pride had never been wounded. Rapidly the cub was by his mother, sniffing the air and bristling. If Mother was unhappy, then bad things were present.
And nobody harmed or upset Mother. Nobody.

"Tota can play," Jini nodded her exageratedly and then, to get her point across, gently bopped the other cub on the nose.
"I'm Jini," she told him, excitememnt evident in her voice. This was a big day for her. She'd managed to meet three cubs who weren't her only siblings and, surprisingly, she hadn't scared any of them off.
Then, the sudden change in atmosphere nearby caught Jini's attention and she glanced at Tota before wandering over to the other cubs and their mother. What was going on?

Harabu smirked as he walked closer.
"What are you doing here?" He pratically demanded from Ishara, he didn't speak harsh, it was more out of shock and a little worry.
He was fully grown now and though his mane was rather fluffy he was still looked pretty much the same. The black lion had just walked into something that might not be exactly... good.

He had the cute look of crossed eyes when Jini bopped his nose, and he blinked a bit and growled playfully. "That hurt!" Not really, but hey, he could pretend it did... right? "Nice to meet you, Jini!" Ah, he was getting better at the national lanugage! Whoohoo! Jini's excitement got him excited, and he bent in the mock pose of getting ready to pounce.
But just as suddenly, Jini's expression changed and Tota flopped over in surprise as she walked over to where his siblings and his mother stood. It was then he realized the change in atmosphere... it was no longer relaxed, but much more tensed. He wondered if there was any danger around... until he recalled that big lion he'd seen before he had decided to brush him aside as a fleeting thought.
He made his way over to his mother, and scooted in between Sairin and Ihlo. Although older siblings could be annoying, he trusted them to keep him safe, as well as Ishara, their mother, not that the small cubs could do much against a full grown lion, but mothers were known to kill threats to their children; not even Tota'keke had been oblivious to those kind of rumors. He glanced around, and then he saw the big black lion come toward them.
The first thing he noticed were the markings. They're like mine! he thought, slightly awed. He glanced to his older brother. "What's happening?" he whispered, and then snuggled himself snugglier (?) in between his siblings, but not before flashing a promising grin of fun at Jini. the lion's tone scared him, but he was more curious about the markings on him, rather than scared, though he was frightened.

Sairin eyed the older male, listening to his tone as well as watching his posture, before deciding he did not like this lion's tone with his mother. A dull cub-growl emitted from his vocal cords as he hunkered/
That stranger better not come any closer!

In spite of all the fun she'd had previously and all of the friend's she'd made, Jini couldn't help feeling slightly out of place. Something was going on here that she wasn't a part of and the cub wasn't exactly sure how she felt about that. Hoping to somehow include herself in whatever was taking place, Jini pushed her way inbetween Tota and Ihlo and settled down onto the ground.
She returned Tota's smile uncertainly and then twisted her head to look up at Ishara.

As the male came closer, Ishara was on the defensive. But something about his scent rang familiar... She realised, after glancing down at the three cubs that had come with her, that this was the same lion from earlier on. She looked back up at the dark male. "I could ask you the same question... I came here to give my cubs a safe place to live. And why are you here?" She kept herself between him and the cubs, just in case he tried anything. But she wasn't a very big lioness. There were others bigger. Indeed, this was where her eldest son got his small stature from.
