Comrade Clara Phoenix315 Comrade Clara Phoenix315 Comrade Clara Hey, I've never really figured this out. Are you supposed to use the report button for threads in the wrong forum, or just for rule violations, or what?
You can do it for either of those. Okay, I'll try reporting threads, but if I get in trouble, I'm going to eat you. mad
Not if I get you banned first. cool
Don't abuse the system and you won't get in trouble. Clara won't abuse the system on purpose. But one day some mod is just going to be all like "WTF b***h? Why did you report this? I hate you lots and lots!". 3nodding
Should I just pre-emptively ban you and get it over with then? domokun

Report system is kind of tricky yeah, but you won't be OMFG banned! 'cause you made one mistake.

Do NOT tell people to edit out ToS violations. That just makes reports a pain to work through. Just report them! gonk Don't even post!

Not really? I've seen enough edits to prove that theory wrong. neutral Still, it does more harm than good to do so. Kind of like posting that they're in the wrong forum.

Yeah, Clara does it occasionally, but she likes to think that she is helping the newbs. They are just so cute, y'know. Untainted by the filfth that is regularship on Gaia. domokun

It's covered in the sticky. It's strongly recommended that you either report it via the system and/or the sticky as opposed to posting in there, because as you can see from the actions of certain people who will remain unnamed, posting that in threads tends to lead to confrontations.
