He smiles as he closes his eyes..
"So, you've fully mastered Shunpou as well. Good. I am Vandole, get of Sargonnas and Chislev, of volcanoes and nature, of the false rebirth and the hate spawned in all existence. Born of the rape of nature by fire, I am the inherent despair, suffering and agony inherent in all flesh. All shall love me and despair!"
He grins, and vanishes himself. All he leaves behind is a circle of pale violet fire, flickering gently. He flits in and out, here and there..seeking his target. Tonight, blades of legend will lock..

:She didn't know how far away she was from them. She didn't care how far away she was. Even she could tell things were getting intense. Medixia just knew that things were going to get worse. She's may only be a Poison Trainer, but nobody her age can say they weren't affected by the wars in some way... She shivers. Is she scared? No... She can hear Giga and Xin growl. She can still reason things out in a calm and steady manner. Was she a masochist then? Rather. She's prepared to do her duty as a Seafoam Medical Officer, Dr. Kusinagi.:

:Medixia has one thing to worry about. She doesn't have her weapon, so it's going to be harder to defend herself if the one attacking Seafoam were to win. She swallows as she braces to watch the events unfold. Unwittingly, poisonous gas begins to evacuate from her pores. She's certainly a Poison Trainer. She has very little control, and the slightest anxiety releases her powers despite herself.:

Kain appears, quite suddenly behind Vandole with his back to him by about seven metres. Even though his arrival was unheralded and so incredibly forthwith, there appears but a moment later - two foot-shaped ruts plowed through the living rock and earth, alive with small fires and arcs of electricity that stop only once reaching Kain's soles.
"Come at me."

He grins, and gestures, dividing his mind twice over with two castings of Two Minds. Now having four minds to speak of, he assesses all possible things that can occur with the space of probable time, and plausible motion. Noting this, he uses one of those minds to initiate a stilled teleportation, near his opponent. He then swings Alhazzad close to, but not at, Kain, unleashing a wave of pure negative energy, very similar in look to a Black Moon Fang; He wants to see how well he stands up to purified death energies, before he really gets down and dirty..

Kain's right wrist twists to the side a bit, and Ryuutsumesatsukin unleashes a like wave, but one of dazzling white flame. Purified life energies, as was the key to a Dragon's stamina, who were the guardians of Life.
The Dracon was not able to access higher functions as his opponent did, but he had ways around his own limitations. He borrowed upon the bond shared by him and Myuutsu, and expanded his consciousness exponentially, analyzing data gathered from his earlier conflict while in his powersuits and what he was experiencing now.

"Interesting."
All he says, as his expanded consciousness dissects everything around him. Simple burst attacks won't do much. He figured that anyway. Negative energy attacks aren't going to win a war like this..no, this was almost like going head to head with Godsbane and Cyric. Oh well. He'll do it like this..
By utilizing one mind, he immediately takes on a move and attack, slashing his sword from the right of Kain, so that the attack would go up from the right hip to left shoulder in a cutting motion. He does it one handed, his other hand twitching, still holding Aegis but his fingers moving rapidly..the other half of that first mind casts a Lightning Bolt behind Kain, coming at him from behind. The other mind acts immediately, using a silent Flamestrike that erupts from above, coming down, should he try to dodge upward..he's got his enemy's back, front, and above covered. With the final mind's side, he invokes a Wall of Fire that burns on either side of his opponent, and behind, so that the lightning will still come through the flames..he's covering all standard angles.

Standard could never hope to touch the rebirth of the dragon gods upon the world. The flames engulfed, the lightning struck, and Kain seemed oblivious to both... fire and electricity were not something one should ever use against a dragon, let alone one of Kain's stature. Vandole would find a sword blade screaming through the earth below at subsonic speeds, rising up for his crotch as Kain disappeared through the wall of fire behind.

:Medixia can clearly see what's going on. It's not because of either of her Pokemon. It's her own poisons. They cloud her eyes to enhance her vision. Yes. They cloud her eyes to do just the opposite. It's not that unusual. The more she watches; the more anxious she grows. As she grows anxious, Xin has to make a barrier to protect himself and Giga. Her poison is carried on the air currents. It might be a bad thing she doesn't have all that much control over her Trainer element. Medixia doesn't recognize either person fighting, but she has a feeling one of them has to be defending the island and the other attacking...:

And that blade met with the partially-manifested Alhazzad spirit's scythe. She was sort of the bonus package, yanno. Still, that manifestation wasn't much more than a gradius style option-shield. But those helped. Always pick the powerups up. Flamestrike had a little divine damage in it, but that was fine. He had to test his enemy's vulnerabilities...and that was doing nicely. He hadn't even flinched when the blade had come up. He stands still briefly, and gestures with one finger. The first of his minds-sides casts a spell that looks a lot like Meteor Swarm, only instead of fire and earth, it's cold air and ice. This is Comet Strike.
The second half of his mind immediately allows him to move, and release another burst of negative energy from Alhazzad, this time of much greater volume than the first. He does this using his automatic foresight, having a general idea where Kain will move to. This one seems a lot more serious, and it's not going to get dispelled quite as easily as the first one was. With that, he moves forward, into the actual burst as it's spiralling around, only to vanish with a burst of actual pure speed this time. If all goes according to plan, he'll grip Kain from behind and bear hug him there, while the black energy blast strikes the front. He's hoping the comet strike from above causes some distraction..

The blade that Alhazzad parried was quite like the scythe it created, a projection. Ryuutsumesatsujin remained snugly in Kain's scaled hand as he practically skated along the air currents. Comet Strike did not go unnoticed, but it was expected... as Vandole utilized his foresight, did Kain utilize Myuutsu's.
Kain closed his eyes and clenched his open fist... as Comet Strike's frozen ice-chunks descended, they met a far hotter host of burning chunks of slag. Dragon Element: Meteoric Swarm
As Kain executed this, the insight of Vandole's next move flashed into his mind, and he stepped back a pace. The impact of his left foot into the earth was so powerful that it caused the ground to clap up around him in an ovoid form... looking quite the part of a dragon's egg.
As the black burst tore into the egg and shattered it, Kain himself was no longer present... however, Vandole would notice an array of whirling blades coming at him from all angles. Serration Box

Vandole counters Serration Box with his own variation, the almighty Blade Barrier. It's kinda need to see blades attacking invisible blades, all just sort of tearing away at each other. Teleporting right to anywhere he can see, he decides for up, and just floats up in the sky. Swinging Alhazzad around, he conjures up several different spells simultaneously, using the remaining two mind halves. The first one that he casts is Absolution. This is a spell that's unique to him, and one of his very specific ones. Absolution is made in the sense that "for the sins we commit, absolution is necessary to atone". The spell causes any damage that someone inflicts on the target of the spell, that is, the caster himself, to recieve some of the same damage for the 'sin' of harming the caster. The absolution is pain on their part.
He's got one spell left, and he decides to cast Premonition; the spell gives his body a set amount of damage it can take before his body takes any real damage at all. His entire form takes on a dark coloration to it;and he floats there..waiting on his opponent this time..

Kain analyzed this, smiling as he recognized the results of Vandole's handiwork. "You have good tastes." The voice sounded from the left, accompanied with the oncoming presence of a large body charging towards Vandole's unprotected side.
However, Kain was coming down slightly behind and almost straight from above upon Vandole. Flying Element: Aerial Ace Kain's body pulsed while in transit, his scales growing a little further out from his flesh, giving him more the appearance of a dragon and less that of a human by skin texture. Interesting move. The Dark Emperor allows himself to be struck rather than avoid the enemy, letting the set damage strike his pre-prepared damage resistance. Skidding a bit but still on his feet, he invokes his power. The first thing he does is search in his vast store of nigh-infinite knowledge to gather power. Nodding to himself, he does this in but a moment, and he vanishes in a Dimensional Folding. In the scant moments he folds the dimensions to attain a new position, he uses Extension III to extend the duration of his Two Minds exponentially.
That was the use of one mind's two halves. His second mind, well that was another matter. One side works on vastly assimilating the magic of this land, forming comprehension of it. He does this, then activates his second mind's other side and fuses this assimilated knowledge into himself, forming an awareness and cognizence. His eyes taking on repeated rainbow colored glows as elemental knowledge pours into him and he nods..
"So that is the type of magic here. Alright, I'm willing to bite. You use sorcery like mine. I want to see what happens when I tap into this world's ambient power."

Kain was waiting for Vandole when he reappeared, blade sizzling down, cutting the very air itself asunder as his opponent spoke. "Who said we'll let you?" It was the cacophany-voice again, Kain as the harbinger of their will also their voice in the mortal world... messenger and champion.
Were one to use magic sight, they would see the energy of the world begin to dampen at its access patterns, the nodes that magic was drawn from. Scales began to form in this other world, attempting to close up the nodes to Vandole's intrusions.

Alhazzad immediately comes up to meet the sword, the two forces giving off blazing explsoive sparks as they connect. Vandole chuckles..his body taking on an ethereal, otherworldly shine, and this time, he's not about to just play nice. He had enough time to grab something, and convert it into himself. he learned enough, so that even without full access, he garndered a few new tricks. He won't be able to enhance these spells yet..but he can cast them, and that's all that matters. He figures he's learned about four new spells. That should do it. He wished he could have learned the best of the offensive ones, but it's a bit late. He'll glean it later.
The first half of his first mind had gone to a single full defense with Alhazzad. The second half simply activates and from the ground burst vast numbers of black rubbery tentacles, all shooting for his prey. Perhaps the moment of delay where the swords met was enough. [Evard's Black Tentacles]. Hentai anyone? He uses both halves of the other mind to cast this new spell..he has to at first, it's new material. His eyes flash brightly, a pale silver, and a faint angelic voice is heard, as two little angels spin around him, enhancing his power further. He just cast a foreign spell..[Blessing].
