She flicked her tail in mild annoyance. Boys never listened. Not that she had really said anything, but still, the premise was the same, "Nothing...Whatever." She wandered up stream a few paces and flopped into a small patch of long dried grass and proptly began minding her own business.

The stallion huffed and lightly flared his nostrils.. .what was her problem all of a sudden? He turned his head away from her and lighly closed his eyes. "yeah...whatever." he said, in light mimicry of what she had said. Girls... one minute they where staying with you, helping you through a difficult time in your life, and the next, acting as if you where the scum of the earth. He hadnt asked her to stay, she could go now if she wished. Or maybe he should...since she obviously was getting anoyed with him.
Silently the stallion flicked his tail and looked towards where she had gone, curled up on the downy grass. Huffing again the stallion wished he could take to the nights sky.. alas his wing would have to mend. Quietly the stallion turned away from her and lumbered into the forest.

K'jatu quirked a brow at the stallion and smirked. She lethargically stood and followed him at her usual pace, which was to say a mild trot, for the mare rarely walked when she could help it/ She siddled up about ten paces from him and chuckled, "Was I in your bubble or something, have to leave?"

Vudeux looked over at her with a weary look, his brows knitted into a frown. He shook his head, his mouth forming a hard line. Why was she following him again. Ugh.. couldnt she just make up her mind to stay or go? It seemed that she now was here for the sole reason to annoy him. "Maybe." he shot back at her, why had she helped him... ah ha! The snarky female probably only wanted him back to health so she -could- annoy him. He huffed.

She blinked and changed her tone, making it sugary sweet and perhaps more supplicating than anyone could imagined, "Aww, big stallion so annoyed at the little mare. Is him feelings hurted?" She twittered with laughed.

Vudeux looked at the mare, one eye opening wide and the other narrowing slightly. The...hell... the mare was...poking fun at him now? His fur lightly bristed and he shook his head. He remained coldly silent and continued to move deeper into the forest.

Perhaps it was mean spirited, but she pranced along in the woods withhim, held heldhigh, tail perked andherkneesrising sharply, for she took twice asmany steps as he in her posturing, "Hmm, such a lovely evening. it's really very nice,don't you think, perfect for runni...of wait,i forgot... you shouldn't do that, it might be hazzardous for your health." She said it in a cheerytone, but the venom that was leaking from the words was obvious,however sugar sweet in might be.

Vudeux kept on his way and ignored the mare. She has saved his life and he owed her a great boon for doing so.. thusly he kept his sharp tongue at bay. Perhaps the moonlight had possessed the mare...for she was certainly very differnt now that he was going to be ok.
His silver hooves lightly flashed through the dappled rays that rained down on them through the leafy canopy above. He snorted and maid not a sign that he even noticed her prescance beside him. 'Hark, whats that I hear? Oh it must be the buzzing of some -anoying- insect' he thought to himself with a minor flick of a smirk.

She continued prancing beside him for some time until she finally huffed and walked along normally, "You know, you don't have to get all uppity like some sissy la la just because I was making fun. Grow some thicker skin or something, jeez." She rolled her eyes and shook out her mane,"You don't have tobe such a grouch just because you needed a navigator."
She swished her tail, "But if you want to be all alone,by yourself, on the ground in the middle of the night in themiddleof the woods, go on, be my guest."

"Yeah and maybe if you wernt Bi polar and randomly starting to taunt me I wouldnt have started walking off into the woods. You didnt have to follow me....again." he snorted, rather irritated with her. Just who did she think she was? He rolled his eyes, yes he owed the mare his life but he didnt have to put up with being treated like a child.

K'jatu flicked her tail in annoyance. "You're the one who is acting like a child, so don't go blaming me. You really need to work on your sense of humor... and your people skill. You're so touchy." She trotted up beside him and her ears flicked forward, "I followed you because I don't mind you, and thats as close to a compliment on your demeanor as I can manage, but if you want me to go, I'll go."
She stood and seemed to shrug.

Vudeux grunted and lightly stiffened at her words. She was certainly one to talk. He snorted and winced a bit as his shoulder tenced and caused his wing to throb. The dark stallion narrowed his eyes and set his jaw. Finally his expression lifted and he spoke. "You dont have to go. However your...joking.. was ill timed. " he said, had they really been jokes, or taunts on his behalf...whatever they where he wasnt in the mood for them.

Her words cut through the silence like the sharp cry of a wolf. He suddered a bit and paused in his tracks. Vudeux hadn't planned on sleeping, but with his wing needing to mend, he would have to get some rest. Grudgingly he nodded. "where would you suggest?" he asked her, his tone dripping with irritation, not at her but at himself for what had happened.

K'jatu shrugged slightly,"There is a small valley between the hills. It is relatively quiet and restful. I think there are a fewsprings around, it wouldbe an easy placefor you to rest in relative peace." She wordlessly began tolead through the gloom,figuring it would be quicker, and aslong as she didnt get all high andmighty about it, even perhaps appriciated.
