An immediate "eep!" squeaked out of the Malu, cutting her laughter to small, spaced out giggles.
Looking at the fat mud owl, Enoa reached over and took the leaves from its form. Taking two tear drop shaped leaves, she slapped 'em on along with a straight twig for a mouth, and long skinny leaves were shoved into the top for ears. "Fat angry malu....or a fat, demented rabbit... Who is angry."
A quick, but sly look crosed her eyes as she gazed sideways at Chael and she proceeded to slap a muddy paw print on his shoulder.

It was now Chael's turn to quickly cover his mouth before an aray of chuckles and gasps of laughter caught up to him. "O-oh goodn-ness. That's -worse- that my Owl!!!" He laughed, trying to catch his breath in the meanwhile, that was untill he reached forth and drew a frown in the mud above it's eyes. Then the laughter would not stop...that was untill he felt something cold and wet against his shoulder.
"ACK! My fur!" He gasped, trying to brush off the mud only to get it smeared by the mud on his own paws. Frowning in mock annoyance, Chael looked to the sly Enoa and with lightning speed, slapped a muddy pawprint straight in the center of her forehead; smirking playfully.

Enoa just let her jaw drop. Her face wore a look of disbelief, though it quickly turned to a look of "revenge!".
Getting up in a flash, the freckled Malu smashed her front paws into the mud ball and practically lept at the larger Malu's chest.

"Uh oh..." Chael blinked and chuckled sheepishly, "Lets be reasonable now Enoa...no need to go do that...AHHH" He yelped, stumbling back in attempts to evade her when he stumbled back and fell into the mud, splashing it up just as she landed on his chest to get both of them quite dirty.

"Umph!" Sounded the freckled Malu as she landed on the other. Mud splattered all over her pale fur and face, and her yellow eyes blinked once in confusment.
Looking at a now equally dirty Chay, Enoa's cheeks puffed out and giggles spewed out from her in an uncontrolled line.

Laughing along with Enoa, Chael couldn't help but be amused at how dirty and silly they looked. Shaking his head, he rolled to his side and set the maluess down on the ground before standing. Looking down at his body, he sent a grin to Enoa as he didn't even have the will to shake off the mud.
"Come on, Enoa. Lets go clean off in the fountian so we can actually see our nice pelts." He nudged the younger femme, before walking slowly towards the fountian, eager to rid himself of this dirt. Yet somehow, he didn't feel like this was going to be the last adventure they would be having, not by a long shot.

Enoa followed Chael out of the mud hole, her paws and hoves making sucking sounds as she pulled them out with each step.
"Who says you have a nice pelt under there?" She commented once on solid ground. Not waiting around for a reply, she bolted in an leaping canter towards the flowing water.... As predicted, a loud splash soon followed.

"Hey!" Chael frowned playfully, nudging her side. "I'd have you know.." Yet before he could even continue, Enoa had bolted forewards and dove into the water, splashing him as muddy droplets ran down his pelt. "I -had- a nice pelt." He sighed, yet grinned as he took of in a run before leaping into the air. "Huzza!" He yelped, before making a large splash into the fountian.
