Kenji saw Rayl with his nagnita ready to strike. He pushed on with a spurt of energy before sliding to a stop almost behind Kinera's brother. "What..are they?!" he managed to say while breathing heavily.

"Annoying, that's all I know right now." Rayl swung his weapon around as one demon thing rushed him. With a devestating blow Rayl clotheslines the monstrosity and temporarily knocked it unconcious on the ground beside Kenji. The other four circled the duo. "They look like some mutated mix between a wolf and a bear! Now, Kinera surprise them!"

"Kenji hit something!" Rayl used his weapon like a pole-vaulting stick from track and when he came down he pierced his enemy's back, snapping his spine.

Rayl took a stance infront of the monster jumping around like crazy trying to buck Kinera off his back. Rayl used the handle of his Naginata to trip the monster and Kinera stepped off. Rayl dropped the bladed end of his weapon down onto the neck of the monster he just tripped putting a gash in it's neck. The one Rayl originally knocked unconcious was tottering back to reality and taking back to his feet though.

Kenji was battling the creature that he targeted and finally knocked it unconcious..whatever it was. But what he didn't notice is the last one was about to slice his back wide open. Kenji turned around, eyes wide open as he watched his life about to be put out...then a fireball rammed into it, setting it aflame and into dust. The same thing happened to the one that Kinera attacked as well as the one he knocked out.

Kenji looked around, "What the hell?"

Out of the tree's shadow, walked out Mr. Leon, with a fireball lit in his hand.

Kinera stared in disbelief at her history teacher. "No way.... you just.. but I thought you... how did you...?" Kinera moved over to her brother and held his hand confused and just wanting to go home. "Rayl... please tell me you just saw that."

Mr. Leon watched all three looked at him in confusion and in awe. He smirked and put out the ball of flame. "You don't need to know my real identity yet...but what I do want to know is.." He walked over to them and a silver aura surround the three., "Why do you all have suppressed magical abilities? They have not shown up in the world for 600 years."

Kenji looked shocked, "600 years!? Magical abilities?! What are you talking about?!" He was confused on what was going on. Demonic creatures attacked him then his history teacher was shooting out fireballs. Some day this turned out to be for Kenji.

Mr. Leon nodded, "That and more. Inside of you three are powers of destruction and healing...and that leads back to the original question: Why do you all have supressed magical abilities?" He was intent on finding out why they had powers that pretty much died out in people.

"I don't know." Kenji managed to answer, "I don't know what is going right now. First those creatures attacked us and now your throwing fireballs and asking us how we have this power. I don't understand what the hell is going on!" He shouted in anger. Kenji was frustrated about this and yelled in irritation.

Mr. Leon scoffed. "I guess I better explain then." He looked around and sighed, "But...it's getting dark. Stay after school on Thursday and I'll explain everything. Until then, don't go out after dark and stay with a lot of people. Good night..." With that he walked away, leaving Kenji, Kinera, and Rayl alone.
