Yume had been looking for the gold in the eyes and she saw them right then. A smile appeared on her face as she saw them but she acted as if it was towards his words. She knew that pain wasn't going to bring back Zuko but she found something that might. "Well I'm happy you could approve of a halfbreed like me." She bowed her head and when she came up was when she noticed how close they were together. Her mind was her own as she thought...Forgive me...William...Zuko...she whispered in thought as she brought her other hand up and touched his lips.

Yume still did not answer Zuko's mental call. She just gave him a small smile, her fangs in view again. "I am sure you could. I do not doubt one of such power and skill." She said softly as she felt him move. His arm had her and she knew now there was no running, no taking off if he hurt her...at least not without a few cuts.
Yume tried not to look happy as she saw the white and gold in his eyes. She kept her face more submissive as she had been. When she was pulled in, she placed her hands on his chest to keep them apart some what.

She said softly as she felt him move. His arm had her and she knew now there was no running, no taking off if he hurt her...at least not without a few cuts.

Yume knew this was coming. She didn't fight back but went into the kiss. His lips on her drew a tear from her right eye but she knew not to pull back. She held his hand in her own and acted like she enjoyed it.
Yet, her mind was alive. She could sence his guard was down and had seen Zuko fighting in side. As long as she kept Errdegahr focused on her, he had a chance. NOW She said in her mind as she slowly deepened the kiss.

Yume keeps into the kiss until she feels him push her back. Her eyes meet his but she doesn't fall under his gaze of anger. Her face is the same as the last time as he slapped her. Yume wanted to make sure that if she ever had to face him again, he knew she wasn't weak and names didn't hurt her. The pair of eyes he shown down on her made Yume know that this move may not work ever again but she knew she had to try. If he had offered this to her now, there was no saying he wouldn't again.
She never moved. Standing there watching the body move to the boulder, she remained cold and hard. She wasn't going to move incase this hadn't worked.

"ZUKO!" Yume calls out and runs to him. Dropping down onto her knees, she throws her arms around his neck. She holds onto him tightly for a moment before pulling back and looking at his golden eyes. "Wait...I turned down being queen of the world for you to come back?" She gave a hurt look towards him forgeting about the pain in her face but just happy he was alive.
Jiyuu had been passed out through all this and was slowly starting to come too. Mew...

"No! You hurt her! You slapped her!" He hissed again and tried to pull away from Zuko's arms biting his hand to get him to let go. "I liked you...I looked up to you." Jiyuu hissed again. It seemed no words would take over what he had felt and heard. Eyes weren't needed to tell the pain in the small body.

Yume looked down at her brother. The anger, the pain and the saddness that filled him was met by her own feelings. Kneeling down to the little one, she placed her hand on Jiyuu's arm. "Squeeky!" She called out as a small mouse appeared from Jiyuu's pocket and looked up at her. "Take him home. Mom need to take care of him." She whispered to the mouse and stood up as the little mouse moved up to Jiyuu's ears and tapped them.
Jiyuu closed his eyes. He didn't want to see the shadow's of the man he had trusted so much. "Yume...I can't leave you with that monster." All he got was a pat on the head and sent on his way.
Yume moved back up and looked towards Zuko. "Give him time." It was all she said.
