ROLE PLAY



"Bwweee?" Rune questioned, looking at Allure. The tip of that rainbow tail curled up, and slid into Rune's mouth, as she sucked on it lightly. Her head was tilted to the side, and she was hovering in front of the door. ALlure was dressed differently today, Rune had noticed. So where was she going? What was she doing?

"Bw .. bwye..?"

ALlure's heart felt like it was clenched and twisted within her chest. She could have gushed out all of her internal organs by now. Rune was so darned CUTE to begin with, but now that she was learning how to talk, she was just drop dead A-DOR-ABLE! Allure twisted her lips to the side, pressing them together, as her eyes felt like they were going to buldge out of her head. How could she leave Rune like this, especially when she knew she could teach her another English lesson today.

"That's right .. goodbye, Rune."

'It's a good thing she doesn't really understand that..' Allure thought to herself. 'I'm sure she would be right out the door, zooming after me if she knew I was going to be gone for a while.. '

"Bwwee? Bw-but.." Rune started to pout, as she stuck out her lower 'lip' towards Allure. Her til now was curled around her body two times over, the transluscent spectrum now created vibrant new mixtures of colors, which was quite an interesting sight.

"Rune .. I have to get more groceries! All of the fruit punch and twinkies are gone. I'll see you very soon, okay?" Allure smiled, trying her best to comfort the little Wethkin. An idea clicked in her head. Television! She hadn't really watched the little sparkling box as of lately, maybe it would be good for Rune to catch up on the news happening around Gaia. She reached out, grabbing the remote control, and she set it on the little coffee table in front of the TV. 'Maybe this will help Rune with her English.. I'm sure she will learn something!'

"C'mere." She said with a grin, nodding her head in the direction of the television. "Come sit on this chair .. it's a lot like the lounge chair outside, but it's nicer .. and cooler!" She bit her tongue as soon as she said that, she knew Rune absolutely loved the sun. It was just her nature to like it, being a rainbow Wethkin and all.

Rune reluctantly followed .. and those multicolored bubbles trailed along. She bent her antennae to the side, obviously not very impressed with what this television-whatever-thing had to offer her. SLowly, she lowered herself down onto the chair, and stared blankly at the TV. Sure, it flashed some colorful pictures here and there, but what else could it do? Could it generate some cookies? That would sure be nice!

"Co .. ooo?" Rune blinekd, looking up to her.

"What's that Rune?" Allure knelt downwards, attempting to get to eye-level with the little Wethkin. Rune growled frustratedly at Allure, she was already somewhat cranky.

"Coooo!" She whined, her tail turning various shades of red to furthermore demonstrate her distaste for the situation.

"What're you trying to tell me? C'mon, you can do it!" Allure tried her best to cheer the puff on..

"COOOOOOKIEEEE!" Rune screamed, now bouncing up and down on the chair with a mixture of excitement and frustration.

"Oh!" Allure laughed, now blushing .. "Good job, Rune! I will try to get you some cookies, just as a congradulations for practicing your speaking! I'll see you soon, okay? I'll be back before you know it!"

With that Allure left. Rune barely even realized it, for something on this glowing box caught her attention. Those colors, they were so entrancing. ...

Allure pressed against the door, pushing it open. Tons of groceries in hand. Suddenly, she felt a poke against the side of her head.

"OW!" She whimpered, bringing up a hand to rub the sore spot.

"EN GARDE!" Rune shouted, holding up a small plastic sword-shaped toothpick, that Allure often used in her drinks to hold together pieces of fruit.

"Vous 괥s mon prisonnier!!" Rune twirled the sword within the air, emitting a low-toned laughter.

"Oh NO!" Allure groaned, smacking a palm to her forehead. "I accidentally left it on the INTERNATIONAL ACTION CHANNEL!"

"Ho-ho-ha!"

ROLEPLAY

Allure and Rune are in Bold font.
Aven and Calli are in Normal font.

Allure decided that it was finally time again to bring Rune to the place where she discovered her. It had been so long since she had returned to that spot, where the rainbow had touched upon the Earth. Simply imagining that time gave her goosebumps. Rune was fluttering along Allure's shoulder, leaving a trail of rainbows behind them.

Aven sat silently in her bed, reading a book, deeply engrossed in it, while Calli zoomed along the pages, smiling giddily.

"What's up, Calli?" Aven knew Calli had a flair of figuring out when another wethkin was about, she urged her mother out of bed and pushed her towards the closet, as Calli turned on lights and tried to open the fridge.

"Whoa, whoa... I'm sure whoever it is, is one of my friends from the shop, so they'll probably be okay with me in my current state of dress." Aven took Calli over by the window room, and smiled widely.

"It's Allure and Rune, Calli!"

Allure closed her eyes, and tilted her head upwards. She felt the sun shining warmly upon her face, and she missed the quietness of the area. She was so used to the sound of the sea clashing against the bungalows around her, that the silence was very peaceful. She knew her way to Aven's house like the back of her hand, so she didn't need to see. Rune started to babble something within her ear, and she opened her eyes, still looking at the sky. The area here seemed so magical .. it was as if Rune knew where she was. They both reached Aven's door, and Allure gave it a few light knocks. Rune added to the noise by squeaking happily.

"Coming!" Aven shouted downstairs, running down the stained steps quickly.

"C'mon, Calli!" Aven said, smiling as she ran down, the small blue puff giggling along with her.

Aven opened the door quickly, and immediately hugged Allure warmly.
"Hi! It's so hot out here, let's go to the deck!" Aven said, motioning Allure and Rune into the house.

"RURUNE!" Calli tackled the rainbow puff, smooching it atop the head.

Allure smiled to Aven, she hadn't seen her friend in quite some time. She returned the hug, embracing her tightly.

"It's so good to see you again!"

The magic in the air was thick, and it added to her happiness. Rune seemed to respond very well to it also. She squeaked and hugged Calli, bringing her along with her. She zipped into the air, swirling and twirling, making ribbons of spectrums. It was quite a beautiful sight to see.

"Caa-lliii~?"

Rune squeaked, not used to speaking to anyone else other than Allure.

"How have you been Aven?" Allure grinned, as she watched the two Wethkin interact once again.

ROLEPLAY

"Of course!" Aven said, smiling and getting a whole plate of oatmeal, peanut butter, and chocolate cookies so they could munch on them.
"I''m sure Rune would love it, as well as the swimming!"
"WIW JOO SWAY SWIMMING???" Calli shrieked, her eyes wide and sparkling.
"Rurune! We go swim!" Calli said, giddy and dancing across the deck table, her eyes matching her wide grin.
"By the way, Allure, I have a swimsuit you can borrow if you want, we wear the same size so I don''t think it''d be a problem...?" Aven said, patting Calli on her little blue head, and she ran her hand through her own blue hair.
"Swimmy, swimmy, swim swim!!!!" Calli sang out, her grin never failing.


"Swwi~iim?" Rune perked, looking at Calli, Aven, then to Allure. Rune had always fluttered along the glittering sea, and swirled atop the waves as they crashed softly into the sand near their home. But she had never actually swam, it wasn''t something that she ever considered. She started to nod, and started to chime in with Calli. "Swim!~ Swim!" Hyperness was starting to build up within the rainbow Wethkin, and the bubbles that surrounded her bounced, displaying that fact.

"Oh! Yes I would really like that!" Allure smiled, nodding in response to the bathingsuit question. "That''s really nice of you to offer." She reached for just ooone more chocolate chip cookie, and she bit on it eagerly. She started to follow Aven back to the house, so that she could get within a suit, and go swim! "I''m happy we decided to come here today, Aven. Rune really likes Calli, and of course, I always love coming here. Sometime you two should come to the bungalow .. I bet Calli would love to look at the ocean and sit on the balcony!"

Rune gathered up several cookie pieces, as many as she could hold, and she fluttered after Calli, looking for the place where they were going to swim. She shoved two cookies happily into her mouth. Her body temporarily took the shape of the cookies as she munched.

Calli giggled at Rune''s shape, and stuffed a cookie into her mouth, also taking the oval-y shape the cookie was in.
"I actually have a few swimsuits, they''re in that closet right there, go ahead and pick one out~" Aven said, pointing over to a very small closet, hearing something abouit a bungalow, she smiled and remembered the days when she was a child, going to the summer bungalow and getting sunburned when swimming in the clear blue pools of water and looking at purple coral.
"I''d LOVE to!" Aven said, pulling on a swim suit top, and then the bottom.
Calli was chomping down cookies, and soon the apple juice was gone and she resorted to her mother''s fruit punch, and began taking giant gulps from it.
"Fwuit punch is wummie!"


Rune opened her mouth wide with a smile, a small chocolate chip could be seen. Then she continued to munch and crunch. She looked around for something to drink too, she was starting to get thirsty from all of the cookies that they were consuming! She fluttered to Allure''s fruit punch and was drinking it as well, it was something that she was used to at their own home. This fruit punch was so great, she hoped that Rune would take down the recipie and make some for her later ... or perhaps she could learn to make some on her own? Anyways, she sipped away, making loud, almost obnoxious, slurping sounds.

Allure nodded, she was comfortable with wearing whatever. The swimsuits that Aven had for her to select from were perfect! Aven always seemed to be sort of a mind reader about things. Allure picked out a black and white bikini, and she went to slip it on quickly. She held out her arms, in a "ta-da!" type motion, posing momentarily for Aven before laughing.

"We''d love to have you two come by! We have extra rooms, and TONS of sweets for the little ones to eat! And stuff for us as well, of course!"

Rune drank the cup completely dry of juice, and she moved the straw around, trying to get any droplettes of nectar that may possibly have been left over. "Mm~hmm..!!" Rune murmured happily, nodding and sipping with Calli. "Swim tiime soon~~?" Rune asked, now that everything was gone.

"That looks great! I barely wear it, you should keep it, I usually wear this one..." She said, motioning to the navy blue bikini with stars on it she was wearing.
"Maybe we could go there tomorrow? I mean it''s not like Calli and I plan on anything, we''re always avalible... it''s not like a have a ''job'' so to speak." She said, laughing nervously, slipping on a miniskirt that had little frills on the ends, and offering a black jean miniskirt, and some sandals.
"Maybe we could do a little sleepover thing, like you guys could stay tonight, and then we can come tomorrow!" Aven said, reaching up into a near closet, getting a few towels.
"Being tall is handy..." She mumbled to herself, giggling.
As Rune sipped the drink, Calli nudged her to come inside the house, and see what the mommies were up to, but Calli got side tracked with another cookie on the tray when she was halfway there, and then she sat on a washcloth with her name sewn onto it, and snuggled onto the soft fabric.

ROLEPLAY

Allure grinned, and then covered her smile .. not wanting the little ones to realize that they had found out all of the punch was gone. She waved to Aven as she went back into the house, and she laid her blanket down next to her''s. Sitting down, she pressed her hands against the blanket, feeling the soft sand beneath her fingertips, and she watched the Wethkins play.

Rune''s eyes went wide as she saw Calli just dive right in .. she was starting to shiver from nervousness .. But, Rune could not act nervous! That was not her! She was fearless, mischevious and -- ah, what the heck. Rune closed her eyes, and floated just above the water surface .. Slowly .. she started to release and relax.. and she soon splashed inside. The water felt soothing, like the fruit punch and the apple juice .. but feeling it around her was a new sensation. She blinked up from beneath, and saw the sun''s rays penetrating the surface. They glittered and gleamed, creating all sorts of colors .. Rune felt at home. Rainbows were all around her .. it was such a beautiful sight. It caused her to glow as well .. her tail was shifting from different colors to the next.

Allure watched the two in amazement. They made the water seem so crisp, clear, and refreshing. Soon the water started to glow faint bits of red, green, orange, purple, yellow, aquamarine .. everything you could imagine. She just sat there astonished. The water swirled and rippled from Calli''s swimming, and perhaps some of her wind element had something to do with it? It was a stunning and gorgeous sight .. She drew her knees in close to her chest, and kept an eye on the two, just to make sure nothing went wrong - but she knew that they were having a great time.

Calli called to Rune, and did a little trick under the water. She blew a little pocket of air around herself and announced it, "TADA!" She giggled, and swam out from the air pocket, smiling at the glittering colors from Rune''s tail, and the rays from the sun settling onto the pool.
Aven brought out the punch, and sat them down near a larger pool right next to the same pool the wethkin swam in.
"This is the pool we can swim in, I dug that one out for Calli so she wouldn''t get hit or anything from others swimming in the big one." Aven said, getting into the large pool, motioning Allure in.
"It''s so cool today, and see here? You can just go in a little and look in on the wethkin underwater!" Calli mused at the colors still, and noticed her mom''s smiling eyes looking upon her, and she waved slightly, still looking at Rune''s colors.

Rune''s eyes moved to the bubbles of air that Calli was making .. this reminded her that -- SHE NEEDED AIR! Her eyes almost buldged out of her head, and the colors from her tail quickly faded away, to almost an unsaturated state.

Allure moved to look through the hole, and she saw Rune start to panic. She pressed her nose against the glass, and did the same with the palms of her hands. "It''s okay, Rune!" She yelled, hoping that the Wethkin would hear. "You don''t need to rush! You can stay there for a long time!"

But Rune didn''t hear, and she burst through the surface of the water, inhaling deeply. The air was so sweet in her lungs, that she started to gasp more and more. Ahh .. she felt so much better. Taking in another deep breath, she dove back in as if nothing had happened.

A large sweatdrop grew on the side of Allure''s head, and it sank low. It was so close to her head that if it burst, she would have been completely soaked. With that thought in mind, Allure figured it was time that they go to the larger pool. "Rune is perfectly fine .. I think she''s just playing around." She smirked. It wasn''t a farfetched thought to think that Rune was doing it for attention.

Rune swirled around Calli, her multicolored bubbles surrounded her like a rainbow-like tornado. She giggled beneath the water, clearly having fun once again. She did backflips, front flips, twirls and swirls. It was a blast!

Allure went with Aven to the larger pool .. and without hesitation, Allure raised her arms above her head, and jumped in. The water was cool to the touch, almost shocking, but she loved it.

Aven laughed, and floated atop the water, crystal droplets of water covered her as she went down into the water fully, and she smiled at Calli, motioning her in.
Calli smiled at her mother, and jumped high and landed into the larger pool, and swam over to Aven, giggling happily while she laid down on Aven''s stomach, resting and taking in the soft light.
"Rune can come in and do the same, just as long as she doesn''t try to do the trick yet, it''s kind of hard the first time." Aven lifted Rune into the large pool, and Calli hopped back into the little one, since the water was colder, and Aven knew Rune would do the same later.
"And...." Aven pointed to some glitter at the bottom, and smiled. "Calli and I did that, it''s an enchantment so you can breathe, speak and see underwater." Aven said, watching Calli swim around, and push her face against the glass, making faces on it.

Allure surfaced and then floated upon her back. She watched Calli jump into the pool, and she sat up a bit, bringing her hands together to clap for her. "Good job!" She cheered. She kicked her feet within the water, moving around the edges of the pool. The water was so silky smooth, it didn''t even feel as if she was in any liquid at all .. it was more like she was floating upon air, within some fluffy clouds. Her body felt comfortable here .. she started to relax.

Rune flailed a little as she was moved from the smaller pool, to the larger one. She actually enjoyed the warm water a bit more, since she was a Spring Wethkin and all .. Calli probably enjoyed the colder because she was more used to Fall. Rune swam quickly through the water, bounced upon Allure''s head, and then splashed back in again. Allure giggled a bit, and kept floating.

Rune moved towards the edge of the pool .. to where she could see within the smaller pool. She in turn lifted her ''wing'' type arms, and pulled down the skin beneath her eyes, and she opened her mouth. Her tongue flickered out, and she made faces back at Calli. Allure just laughed harder.

Allure folded her hands behind her head .. and floated around .. her eyes closed, she was starting to get a bit sleepy. Clouds and rainbows swirled in her mind as she dozed off. And Rune continued to make faces.

Dear Journal,

I went by the Wethkin shoppe quickly while Rune was resting outside upon the back porch. I actually went out to get more fruit punch, since of course, she had the last bits of it to herself earlier today. Oh well - She just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter! .. I'm kiiiddding! Don't kill me journal, please.

Anyhow, when I went there, I found out that there ARE new Wethkins roaming about! Isn't that awesome? More playmates for little Rune here!!

Aven sat in the stables, cleaning Iris's coat, spraying the hose lightly across the silvery fur, as Iris whinied softly. As she finished drying her off after cleaning her, she went back inside, and rallied up Calli, and began baking Aven sat in the stables, cleaning Iris's coat, spraying the hose lightly across the silvery fur, as Iris whinied softly. As she finished drying her off after cleaning her, she went back inside, and rallied up Calli, and began baking peanut butter chip and chocolate cookies, after a while they could go in the oven and Calli could get out a big cup from the pantry to share a glass of milk to dip the cookies in.::

The day was so clear and beautiful. Almost ideal, one would say. It was somewhat expected around the area where Aven resided. She had chosen a beautiful location, with much space for her to raise her friends, at least that's how Allure felt about it. There was a strange connection that one felt when visiting Aven's house, or when even getting near to it. It felt as if mother nature herself resided around that vicinity, and opened her arms wide, inviting anyone and everyone that dared travel close. Perhaps that is why Allure discovered Rune when over Aven's house that one day, so long ago. This day was much like that one, except there were no clouds in the sky ... it was a bare blue, yet still very beautiful. Allure was traveling from her bungalow home, to Aven's again. It was something she enjoyed, and she knew Rune liked it as well. She glanced to the left, to smile to her dear friend that was hovering above her shoulder. "Why don't we make the sky smile today, Rune?" She grinned even larger, and Rune gave an eager nod. Rune's body began to glow a relatively bright color .. or rather, a more accurate description would be, .. colors. Her spectrum tail illuminated, and Rune flew into the air. Her tail curled and writhed against the azure background that lay so high, and soon a beautiful rainbow would be painted on that never ending canvas. It was absolutely stunning. It almost took Allure's breath away .. She brought her hands up to her cheeks, pressing her palms against her soft skin, and she greeted Rune with a happy squeak as she settled upon Allure's shoulder again. "It's gorgeous, Rune. I'm sure Aven will love it."

Aven grinned as she saw the rainbow lingering outside the kitchen window, as she took out the cookies to cool, she set them on a bread rack and soon ran out the front door with Calli to greet them. "Hi! It's so beautiful, Rune! I think you deserve a whole batch of cookies, I think we'll be enjoying your rainbows for a long time today!" She said, beckoning them into the window room, where she shuffled quickly and got cookies, bringing them in and setting them onto the large food table in the center of the room that was surrounded by fluffy pillows, where she sat with Calli who eagerly took a large cookie and munched it down, smiling widely. "Pwetty Wune!" she giggled, crumbs coming out of her small mouth. "I'm sure it'll be fun to have a picnic under. We can have a picnic today since it's really nice, and maybe we can collect shells! We haven't done that in a long time," she said in a blithe tone, smiling at Allure and Rune widely. "I'm sure Rune did something to one of the shells and made it rainbow!"::

Allure was just about to greet Aven as well, when Rune fluttered off of her shoulder and almost tackled Calli to the floor with a hug. She squeaked, and zoomed around her quickly, creating a rainbow-colored blur. Soon she slowed down, and Calli was covered in multicolored 'ribbons' that were leftover from Rune's tail. "Caaaaawwii!" Rune giggled happily, and she zipped up into the air and landed upon Aven's head. Rune nuzzled her cheek against Aven's hair, causing it to momentarily change bright orange, the same hue as Rune's fuzzy little body. Allure giggled into the palm of her hand, as she nodded a 'Hello' to everyone, and reached for Aven's famous cookies. Stuffing one quickly into her mouth, she watched Aven's haircolor slowly change back to normal. It was so interesting to see what Rune was capable of now. Her powers were increasing, and growing much stronger. Swallowing the rest of the cookie, she nodded. "I think that a picnic would be a wonderful idea! Rune absolutely loves the sea ... the droplettes that go into the air, and mix with the sunlight make rainbows all by themselves .. Rune adores that! Don't you Rune?" She glanced over towards her Wethkin, and Rune was eagerly shoving as many cookies as she possibly could into her mouth. A stupidly happy grin was cast in Allure's direction, as crumbs tumbled out from her mouth, very similar to what Calli had going on as well. She could only laugh more. ::

Aven smiled and dipped a cookie into the milk she brought along, and took bites off the sweet peanut buttery and chocolate cookie, and smiled at Rune, who momentarily changed her haircolor. Calli zoomed over to Rune, and smiled, as widely as a whale. She made what seemed like fifty feathers fall on Rune lightly, and giggled as they gave her blueish white streaks in her outrageous orange furry body. Soon the stripes faded away and Calli simply snuggled up to Rune, eating a cookie. "I think that we can go swimming, too. The tides are nice today." Aven said, and smiled."I'm sure that Calli would enjoy taking one of my orbs and sticking it in a tidepool and watching it glow softly in the water and making the glitter fall off, but I'm afraid we'd have to stick it in a clear waterproof box to do that." Aven said, giggling. Knowing how much Calli loved the two orbs her mother had in possesion was simply funny to her, she continued munching animatedly on her cookie, and watching Calli shake herself, glittery winds blowing around her softly. "She's gained her wind to become visible now, it has sparkly things in it, so I can see when she's going to attack me with wind." Aven laughed softly, and watched Calli giggle herself, eating another cookie. Aven stood up quickly, and went into the kitchen and came out with another batch of cookies, but this time they were frame cookies with extra chocolate chips in them. "These are one of my favorites, they're squares with chocolate chips." Aven said, and Calli soon took about six and ate them fast.::

Listening to Aven speak about Callidora's powers, and her eyes glittered up brightly .. She recalled the event yesterday where she had scared Rune, and raised her hands into the air, as to gather her thoughts, but signal that she twanted to speak. "Aven! You're not going to believe this ... but Rune's powers have been becoming greater too! She actually, well, uh.." She reached a hand behind her head, and pressed her palm against her skin, sliding it up to touch her hairline ... and finally she dragged her fingers through her long, dark hair. A nervous laugh was given, before she continued. ".. tried to attack me .. But not in that way!" She shook her head, biting her lower lip. She didn't want to give Aven the impression that Rune actually tried to harm her, but her words were so tangled that she couldn't get everything out correctly. The excitement and wonder that filled her about Rune actually growing and maturing was consuming her, she had heard about so many Wethkins lately transforming from their puff stage to their child stage, that she was eager to see what could become of Callidora and Rune. Anyways, she continued on, "And she made walls of rainbows form around me, and actually trapped me! It was amazing. They were hard, like real walls, I couldn't believe it .. I wish I could show you .. or explain to you ... but I'm not sure if that will happen again. Rune was trying to protect me, she didn't know it was me .. and, wow. I just couldn't believe it! I wish you were there, I wanted to share the experience with someone. It's really wonderous, you know? Seeing your Wethkin portray their powers of nature .. How did you feel when Calli started to control the winds, and cause things to change around you? Was it amazing? Was it slightly scary? What did you do? Is there someone we can go to, to talk about this? I was thinking about going back to the shoppe and talking to other owners ... but I'm shy .. I'm not sure .. I just.." A million questions seemed to pour from her mouth. She was so eager, and excited, it was very unlike her to be this hyper.. but she had so many questions, and wanted so many answers. Her eyes almost turned into swirl-like marks as she finally ended her flurry of questions and whatnot.::

"Come to me when you have questions." Aven said, smiling. "I've had twice the experience, caring for Aure for most of her life, and Calli. When she began controlling wind, I was surprised, but happy, because I know that she can protect herself, without that knowledge I'd be scared for her because of her size and physical strength." Aven said, smiling at Calli warmly. "Knowing that she can blow away and enemy and fly back makes me feel so much better." She said, eating a cookie. "I think that Calli has more powers to come, since she doesn't really practice, but I know by the time she's a child, she'll be able to protect herself." Calli hugged to a pillow softly, and then zoomed to the other room, bringing in a small bowl of the other bowl of cookies, which was butterscotch, her small batch. "I have another one coming, it's oatmeal raisin." she watched Calli eat the cookies happily, gobbling down the little globs of butterscotch at the bottom of the bowl quickly, and burping a tiny burp, which made Aven laugh very, very hard.


Rune blinked, watching Calli eat the cookies. It made her think about the bubbles that they both had, floating around them. Rune bent her right 'wing' somewhat, and pulled one of her burble bubbles towards her face. Blowing lightly upon it, it transformed from a somewhat pinkish-red color, to a golden brown, resembling that of a butterscotch piece of candy, very much like the cookies. She raised it into the air, and let it float up, and bounce around with the others. Experimenting with colors was what she enjoyed doing now, and she could not WAIT to make things all the different hues of the rainbow. She fluttered up, and started to zoom around that particular room, changing things all around. There was a gorgeous lamp upon one of the tables, and it turned into a bright green and purple one. The chairs turned into bright pink and yellow colors, and all of the cookies changed into an illuminating orange hue. "Rune!" Allure called out, now moving her hands onto her hips. "Come now, let's not insult Aven as an interior designer! You must ask her first before changing all of her fruniture, which I'm sure she worked very hard on!" Rune's big grin faded a bit, and she fluttered in front of Aven's face, glancing downwards. "Mmay I .. pwease..?" She whimpered in the cutest of ways.::

"I'll let you change the guest room, it's right next to the kitchen. This room in particular, I think you've definately laid your mischevious paws on." Aven smiled and laughed, kissing Rune atop her head.

Rune yawned .. it was a long Halloween for Allure and herself. She accompanied Allure's shoulder for almost every occurance where little Gaians came up to the bungalow door and knocked on it. She was so amused by all of the different costumes that the children were dressed as, especially when they were like ghosts, just as Allure appeared a few days prior.

Allure was in the other room now, cooking up a batch of Halloween cookies and other such goodies. Rune could hear her whistling loudly from the kitchen, and clanging pots and pans together. She fluttered around the bungalow home .. and decided that it would be a nice time to go outside. She peered along the balcony, and watched what it looked like to see the full moon glitter across the gorgeous waters.

Sniffing the air softly, she sensed something sweet ... Of course, she loved sweets! It was time for the hunt!

Searching .. searching, searching .. she continued to sniff through the all hallow's eve air .. it was beautiful. Filled with the scent of warm apple cider, fruit punches, candied apples, cotton candy, cookies, brownies, lolli pops, sour candies, everything that made Rune's tail light up brightly.

Finally, she came across to something in the corner .. it was covered with a dark piece of cloth, and she could see an orange colored ribbon from underneath it. There was also a tag ...

Floating closer, she came within range to be able to read it. She had been spending many of her days learning to read and speak properly with Allure, but now she didn't have her for help. Squinting more and more .. she started to sound the words out ..

"Hap .... hap .. pee?" She blinked, tilting her head, and bringing her tail forward, to lift the tag closer to her face. "Ha ... low .. wee... nnn...? Happy Halloween!" She chimed happily, continuing ... "For ... R ... Ruu ... rune..? Rune!? It's for ME!" She squeaked, and ducked underneath the dark piece of fabric .. Quickly, she tried her best to remove it ..

What was revealed..?



Why, a clear bag of CANDY just for herself! She continued to squee with excitement.

Wrapping her rainbow tail tightly around the bag, she squeezed it together, and fluttered as fast as she could - which was actually relatively slow because of the weight - to Allure in the kitchen. Allure could be seen with flour all over her face - which was not as scary as seeing her without any makeup, so Rune was perfectly fine with it .. PLUS her mind was on the candy.

"Look Awwure..!" She yelled, shaking the bag happily in her owner's direction.

"Aww.. Rune, you fould it!" Allure grinned, waving her flour clad hand in the air, causing a cloud of the white powder to form.

"Happy Halloween, Rune!"

"Ha ~ pppeeee.. Ha ... lowww .. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!"

Allure slid each arm into her furry winter coat. It had become quite cold today, even though they were placed upon the sandy beaches of the Barton coast. The air nipped at her nose, causing it to transform from a beautiful tanned tone, to a bright pink - almost red! Rune was nestled snugly upon Allure's shoulder, and she giggled lightly at this change. Allure furrowed her brow, and stuck out her tongue.

"Oh you think it's funny, do you?" She questioned with a smirk. Rune responded with the vigerous nodding of her head. Allure could only laugh as well.

"It's going to be too cold out for you today Rune. You're going to have to stay here, okay?" She lifted a pointed finger, and touched it softly against the area where Rune's nose would be. Tilting her head, she waited for her little Wethkin's answer.

"Buut ... but, mom!" Rune whined, her voice had become quite mature within the recent weeks, a sign that she was growing up. A smile curled upon Allure's lips, which were now changing to a hint of blue. My, what a cold front was out today!

"No, I'm sorry Rune ... But I'll be back soon, alright? And I'll have lots of sur~prii~zes just for you!" Quickly, she clasped her hands together in front of her, pressing her palms against one another. A large, almost fake grin now taking up most of the room on her face. Rune stared at her blankly, the faux excitement not even causing any sort of stirr within her.

"Oh fiiine..." Rune huffed, and slowly, but surely hovered off of Allure's shoulder, and back inside the bungalow. "The surprise better be good!" She chimed, before the door slammed shut.

Allure smirked, rolling her eyes -- when ever did she not bring home an AWEOSME surprise? She grinned, and reached into her coat pocket. There she revealed her secret only to herself - a digital camera! It was rainy, and cold .. yet the sun was shining through the clouds. An akward time for rainbows to show themselves, but it was a time none the less.

She ran out quickly across the sand .. and the weather continued to be quite odd and fierce. Thoughts ran through her mind about the different kinds of winter wethkin there were, and could be. She laughed to herself at the thought of icy wethkins, casting their powers upon their owners, freezing their own noses! A gloved hand was lifted to her own nose in response, attempting to bring back some life.

Just as she was distracted by those humerous images, she spotted one. A beautiful rainbow.

"This is perfect.." She whispered, as the camera seemed to lift upwards.
