Okay, this is gonna sound really cheesy, but Revolutionary Girl Utena made me think alot. I mean, even though I used to watch it back when I was in 4th grade, it made me want to be brave and noble and rebel against stupid rules that society enforces on us, you know what I mean? Well, maybe you guys don't, but that's okay, maybe I'm not wording it exactly right. But even though Utena looks like your typical shojo anime (fancy clothes and flowers galore), it is really full of deep metaphors if you can catch 'em, which took me a gazillion times watching the episodes to get. sweatdrop

I watched Utena for the first time. . . . in college. But I completely agree with you. The show, the movie especially, are full of hard to follow meanings. It is a really interesting concept though. Would you give up a mostly safe world when you could be a princess to be in the real world, with many hardships, to be with someone you love? Ahhhh. I love Utena. It's a great show with wonderful artwork.

The end of fullmetal alchamist made me think that the whole series was kinda for nothing. I mean sure Al is back, but he dosnt remember anything, and Ed is in that other place with his dad. It kinda sucks.

Evangelion was the first one that made me think... and the last one was Haruhi Suzumiya... at first i thought it was only a serie with wich i should laugh a lot... but actually... some parts seem pretty familiar to me... and that's what makes me think...

Please Save my Earth made me think. Mainly because the story was confusing, but after I got it, it was so good!

heart heart Fullmetal Alchemist has been one of the most incredible and inspiring shows that I have ever seen. FMA is so deep & touching(and at times very humorous) It may sound strange to some, but this series really teaches you a lot about life and how to live it, Spiritually, philosophically and emotionally. especially with the principles of equivalent exchange. FMA had a lot of life lessons that can be soul crushing. heart heart

FullMetal Alchemist made me think about what really happens when we die. Princess Moneoke(did I spell that right?) made me think about our world a bit.
Serial Experiments Lain made me think about a lot of different stuff.
Accutally, almost any anime makes me think. sweatdrop

OMG! Me too! I love Case Closed. It makes you think, and it's so fun trying to figure out all the mysteries! 4laugh FMA made me think about life and war, and the whole "equivilent exchange" concept. Fruits Basket made me think about how much I wish I was as nice as Tohru. I've seriously been trying to be more like her in my life! Gunsluinger Girl made me think about what it would be like to be a cyborg-thing, not thinking for yourself, following orders, ect. and what would happen if I lost all my memories.

Angel Sanctuary made me think a lot about what might be going on between heaven and hell and what might happen to the human world as a result.

Nausissca<---well actually in the future we ppl might need to used the mask to live the rest of our life since pollutation just gettig worse and worse
Doraemon~basically an imagination,creative cartoon about the future, ya can say<---dunno why U.S dun have that but my possible opinion is it's because the movie sometimes ironic of U.S in this anime ^^;;;
XXXHolic~Well...it's just simplily said in order to get in ya goal and dream,ya gotta "give" something in order to "get" something.How people get in the end in order to get on the next step ya can say something like that ^^;;;<---in short term...there're no free lunch exist in this world xd
Fruit Basket~Well the story is pretty good in my opinion
It's a bit relate to the reality of the families problem,and few of the explanation from Tohru and Tohru's mom is pretty true too(Well in my opinion)<---Hee hee Kyo is like the verion of Inuyasha xD
Le Cirque de Karakuri
It's a dark manga (Well kinda but still it has its humor in this manga)
the artist did write a very deep of human heart's negetive
How just one thing can turn a person to do something crazy that can make the rest of people get into misfortunate
How money can turn a person into some greedy,wild beast in order to get the power,the money,even hurt your half-relative
How an innocent puppet had turned into a killer puppet because of its master's madness
But also it has some possitive too
If you get into misfortunate,no matter how bad it is;keep on fighting the odd til the end.Somehow,you might find your way though back to the track
If you do your best but still failed;dun be fear,dun be sad.Laugh for the odds,and keep on continues.Maybe a marcle would happened

Hate is like a knife to damage the earth
Hate can't grow anything
How curious can get you into trouble ^^;; (Example Ushio's father told him that never go to the storeroom an opened the door that sealed a demon for 500 years,and in the ended got cha|||)

Most recently I re-watched the movie Akira. I watched it again because I remember how cool I thought it was when I was younger and had forgotten most of the plot. It had a lot of mixed messeges about it, but the one most evident was war, and secret weapons and "be careful what you wish for..." stuff like that. I really enjoyed watching the movie again, and was worried that I would have weird dreams. Which I did. mrgreen
