Ok, something has been bothering me. This woman is supposed to be all fundamental Christian, right? And she wants people to vote for her because she's Christian to make sure that Christian morals get put into the legal system, right?

So if she's such a good Christian, why is she working? Shouldn't she be at home pregnant, surrounded by children, and fetching her husband's slippers?

Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Silly Kukuska! Don't you know that once you accept Jesus in your heart, you don't actually have to FOLLOW him anymore?

I audibly chuckled when I read that. Pat yourself on the back, 'tis a rare occasion indeed!

It reminds me of the woman from the Handmaid's Tale who had spend her pre-novel period career lecturing about how women should all have to stay at home and that this was the only way for them to be happy. She considered the fact that she was out lecturing a "sacrifice" on her part that, instead of partaking in the joy, she was out making sure that others could.

And then when she was actually forced to "partake in the joy," she hated every minute of it and was bitter.

That's what this woman reminds me of. A young version of a faded and bitter hypocrit.
