Suppose so, but I would've thought that'd apply to the first two Acts as well. Them I really liked.

Yep. The landscape actually seemed - for once - as though it was designed by the sort of enemy who wanted to kill you.

And yet was just fair enough that you could get through any section the first time. Theoretically, and unlike those levels where you need to learn where the lethal bits are.

A man after my own heart - although I hope that Sonic Rush can make good on more than eye candy, which is all that we know for sure is there right now.

In my case, the issue is that I'd need to buy a DS for Rush, whereas I have a PS2 for Shadow.
If not for that, there would also be no contest in my case. As far as I'm concerned, Sonic really belongs in 2D.
