Afternoon *bows* I am selfproclamed swordsman, Ginger Gouki and its a plesure to meet you all (forgive my spelling).
Well, It would seem better I introduce myself properly. My name is Will Overgard, a comic book/manga writer from the US, currently stuck in the patch of gray known as the UK.

Hey, I'm Snookums, an A/M/C reg who also has a slightly sick love for the Chatterbox. sweatdrop I'm 19 years old, and buy my manga in Japanese (unless it wasn't originally written in Japanese).
I'm very glad this place exists. For a while I've been thinking how much more feedback anime companies should pay attention to, and this seems to be a nice step in the right direction.
In fact, I was thinking about it yesterday or the day before, when an A/M/C thread told fans to stop complaining, that they should just keep pumping money into a market they aren't satisfied with, that they shouldn't ever hope for improvements. I'm sure no company is foolish enough to believe that their consumers' opinions don't matter. Yes, some companies have their focuses which are certainly controversial, but ultimately, they want to make money. Consumers provide money. Unhappy consumers stop providing money. Simple as that. I know I'm going off on tangents here, but I just hope this place can do an ounce of good somewhere.
