I mention Arpaio because he was in the news awhile ago... Rev. Sharpton called him out for supposed racial profiling against hispanics. He's been the sheriff for 16 years now and he just got reelected again last year. I'm in Arizona. Are you sure that's the link you meant to post? It says 'undocumented immigrant' is an oxymoron, and seems to favor the term 'illegal alien' for those who are in the country illegally. :/ That site looks interesting though. That was the point of the site. It was trying to say many prefer the term "illegal alien" because it well it is much simpler I suppose.
I don't know. Someone probably posted the "white pride" thing, because yes it can get offensive. I can agree on some levels with this whole nationalistic, pride, and race thing gets out of control.

I say if they are here illegally then imprison them. They broke the law, put them behind bars making license plates for a year or two then send them back. If they have kids then those kids become wards of the state and are put up for adoption.
Also I think that you should have to prove you are a citizen to get any benefits or to use the free clinics and public schools. I think those should be run by the states anyway, but that's another issue.
I have no problem with people wanting to move here, but they need to come here through legal means and put as much into this country as we do. You know many of the Mexicans who come here have no intention of becoming citizens and staying for life, they send the money home then go home and live like kings. I even had one tell me so.

Something needs to be done to stop the flow of illegals coming into this country and if a barbed-wire fence helps then we should use it. There is a right way and a wrong way to enter this country and they are taking the wrong way. They need to take the same route other person use to enter.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. our country has provision for immigration, ie, LEGAL immigration. What's the point of having these laws when we do not uphold them?

I hate how the topic of illegal immigration, eg border crossing, somehow gets turned into a racial thing. hey, I don't care if an illegal is from mexico, sweden, china, white, blue, green, purple, etc etc.... it's about obeying the law?

Hmmm... I don't know about imprisoning them, our jails are already overcrowded with legal citizens who get caught smoking pot or whatever. I think a better answer is post deportation amnesty. We round them up and deport them, but give them all the paperwork they need to fill out to come here legally on the way out. The idea is that their previous illegal immigration wouldn't prevent them from coming here the right way next time. I'm open to an interm period before they can re-enter, they did break the law, after all. This isn't amnesty, they ARE being deported, but if they are willing to do it the right way next time, I think we should welcome them back.
Oh, and I also support building a wall across the border. Even if it doesn't stop illegal immigration, it could at least slow it down some. I also support simplifying the immigration process. I think it should be a health check, a crimminal background check, and maybean understanding of English. If those two or three things check out, issue them a green card already. Our borders should be secure, but with the gates wide open to anyone and everyone who wishes to come here legally to make a better life for themselves. Thats my take on the matter.
