Roger, dropped to the stones of the balcony, curling up into a ball and clutching his arm where the creepy ghost child touched him. It seemed to burn, or, something quite strange. He didn't have words for it. All he knew, was that it felt horrible, and he was whimpering slightly, unable to keep it in.

"He never asked for help." Dune replied coolly, raising brow beneath her mask as her expression became stoic. Which such control now being granted to her, she removed the mask from her face and shook her head, tilting the plumed hat up into the correct positioning. She was being entirely honest when she stated as such, he disliked her and felt uncomfortable in her presence so why should she help him?

"Had he asked for help then I would have granted it to him but alas he did not." She chided before glancing briefly at the man and raising her eyes heavenwards, "Oh by the love of the gods will you get ahold of yourself!" She snapped in a stern tone - he was acting like a weak and vulnerable child, he was a grown man for goodness sake.

"And bumping his head might actually have been good for him." She added darkly, as though on an after thought.

"But he's your friend," she half-argued, already losing interest in the subject. Absently she started to pick at her doll.

"But.. what was.." Paper stuck out her tongue. "Oh! You asked us a question." She lifted her doll toward Dune and smiled. "Rasu says that the Crystal calls to everyone. But, not everyone chooses to listen." With that she brough the cat back down and snuggled it lovingly.

Roger rolled up into a sitting position, leaning back against the railing now. He was still clutching at his arm, as he lookd over at Dune. Well... the ghost was creepy, but, well, spared his head, at the cost of his arm. He didn't know if he should be afraid, or grateful, or what. And Dune, well, Dune apparently wanted him to fall. The Devil you know, he reminded himself. What did he expect? Their type was always doing things like that.

"He is not my friend - he is a random man who decided to follow me and attempted to kick me out of the forest because I was not welcome." She growled, glancing towards Roger with a 'death glare' as she remembered what had occured during the moments that had passed within the forest - his stealth tactics and his stereotypes; yes, she remembered everything.

"So what are we supposed to do when we get here?" She continued, narrowing her eyes as she tried to gain an understanding of all the information she was receiving, "Sit around idly and hope that something of interest happens?" She enquired again, shaking her head as she glanced over the edge of the balcony and released a sigh -

"If you had not noticed, I am a living being - I cannot cook and prefer my meals unmoving, I sincerely doubt I will enjoy eating bugs to survive out here."

Paper's pointed ears drooped slightly. "If you're hungry, you can eat the fruits and stuff." Paper pointed to a tree tucked around the corner of the balcony. In the early morning sunlight, the smallest bits of color, blues and purples, could be seen within its branches. "The shadows say they're edible, that they're not poisonous... I eat them all the time. Cause they're real sweet. But they couldn't kill me anyway y'know... I really don't need to eat 'em. I should prolly save them for visitors.. I guess."

The ghost wiggled slightly. "And.. well.. there is something else, about the Crystal..."

The woman glanced briefly towards the fruits and fought against the urge to point out that she wanted meat - instead, she simply turned towards the ghost again and raised a questioning brow. So there was more to the crystal than met the eye - this was something that she needed to know if she were to fully understand why such feeling could be invoked by the sight of it.

"And that is?" She asked after a few moments, leaning forward slightly to indicate her interest in the revelations that the ghost seemed to be in the process of giving.

Paper seemed to be trying really hard to remember something. "Well.. It's kinda hard to explain, y'know?" She scratched her head. "It's.. it's like this.. the Crystal.. it like, grows more crystals, that um.. are alive too."

The ghost looked around. "I don't have mine anymore though.."

Quinn wandered around the perimeter of the Crystal Temple, exploring in hopes of discovering a rouge creature the building was said to hold. As she rounded a corner, she heard voices and paused, looking up. Above her was a balcony and she could vaguely make out the forms of at least two people.

"Hey!" she called. "How do I get up there?"

"Not another one." Dune snarled as she leapt from the balcony railing and landed upon the floor, she simply cast a glare down upon the intruder and shook her head, "You do not." She replied darkly as she withdrew from the direct line of vision and turned her gaze upon the ghost once more, her brow raising at the discomfort within the Ghost.

"Well, where did you crystal go?" She enquired in some form of confusion, "Did it run away?" She murmured almost jokingly.

Quinn blinked in suprise at the poor reception she received. Stammering a few unintelligible protests, she stood gawking at the woman who had so dismissed her.

Paper leaned over the side of the balcony and smiled down at the person standing there. "Hallooo!" she called to the new face. "You hafta come inside to get up here you silly thing!"

With a giggle she turned back to Dune. "No, it didn't run away, it broke!" She winced, remembering the summoning. "It was really weird. But it's ok, cause that's how I got Genesis, and Waltz too. Waltz is funny." Paper sat in front on Dune and placed her doll in her lap, rearranging it several times before settling.

After a brief sigh of irritation the woman simply glanced over the railing once more and shook her head, her face virtually granite as she pointed below towards the apparent entrance to the temple, "Use your brain girl." She advised at last and shook her head, "Perhaps if you do you may not ask such foolish questions in the future." She muttered and withdrew from her line of sight once more, turning her gaze back towards the ghost as she slipped the mask onto her face once more and placed the plumed hat upon her head.

...It seemed she would have to get used to strangers appearing out of nowhere...

Nevertheless, her gaze did flick to the ghost again and she narrowed her eyes, "Who is genesis and what do you mean by Waltz?" She enquired confusedly - the girl was speaking in riddles and yet the answers were so close!

Stupid mean girl thing. I dont even know if it is a girl. Its probably really a pile of talking poo... At least the transparent one seems nice...TRANSPARENT?!

Quinn stopped muttering to herself and gave a last tentative glance at the pair on the balcony, but both figures had slipped from view. Figuring that she had thought the other girl was transparent only while in her shock from being so verbally brutlized by the steaming pile of talking poo, she made her way into the Temple and up the stairs that seemed to lead to the proper balcony.

"Genesis," Paper said tilting her head. "Oh! Would you like to meet her? She's been exploring the temple lately, I guess that's why she ain't with me.." With a frown, Paper pulled a small, green stone from her pocket. The stone glowed for a moment before she placed it back.

"There, now she should-"

Suddenly a small green humanoid-avian creature emerged from the within the temple. It twitched its wings for a moment before floating over to Paper. Apparently it flew by some unseen method, for the creatures wings didn't flap at all as it flew over to the ghost and perched on her shoulder.

"Aha!" Paper squeeled, nuzzling the thing on her shoulder. "This is Genesis. My Elysian." The creature fixed its deep red eyes on Dune.

Muttering followed after as a pudgey looking white teddy bear with black wings and a pointy hat squeezed through the window and flapped over to sit at Paper's feet.

"And that's Waltz," the ghost added adjusting the moogle's hat despite it's obvious protest to contact.
