sushigurl2 I'm bi. But anyways. I don't know if this really applies but I'm gonna put it here anyways. That whole stupid thing about banning gay marrage pissed me off! Anybody else agree, dissagree... dont care? Damn Bible-Thumpers. I hate ot too but it is more of a civil liberty issue for me than a "love is love" one. I just think that it's what brings us the most pleasure. I am a bi-curious myself, I have kissed a female and would do more. Homosexuality just is, it's not bad or good the same way that heterosexuality is not bad or good.

Yeah, people are having an actual discussion on my thread. *Happiness* We should be able to live our lives the way we please. I think the world would be more fun if everyone was at least bisexual.

Tosuto Yeah, people are having an actual discussion on my thread. *Happiness* We should be able to live our lives the way we please. I think the world would be more fun if everyone was at least bisexual. I think everyone in their own way is bisexual - it's been said (I believe, or maybe it's just my theory) that most people are attracted to both sexes. >.< I don't know, but I like to think most everyone is bisexual. Gives me more comfort.
I mean, at least once in a person's life they'll probably look at a person of the same gender and go, "Damn, if only I could get into his/her pants."
Oh, ********, what am I saying.
I'll shut up now.

This is why I'm a liberal. This is why I'm moving away from the US as soon as I turn 18. 3nodding

I'll shut up now. It's a matter of pheromones - but people who deny that individuals of their own gender might be attractive to someone else are just in friggin' denial. xd
I think the world would be better if everyone were hermaphrodites. gonk Gay rights issues would never arise, nor would gender discrimination. Meh.
And on that note, I'm straight, although I've kissed a girl before. A few of my closest friends are homosexual. The push for a constitutional ban on gay marriage is ridiculous in more ways than I can count. Enough said.

Yeah, gay rights shouldn't have to be an effing issue. Urgh. I have no idea why your gay friends push for a ban on gay marraige... >.>
My girlfriend just moved to Canada and we're thinking of getting married up there and then moving back down to the states. Yup. ^.^;;

My girlfriend just moved to Canada and we're thinking of getting married up there and then moving back down to the states. Yup. ^.^;; I understand what you were saying about denial. I first knew in 4th grade that I was bisexual. I actually thought I might be gay since I always was attracted to females more (I still am, but I am attracted to males as well). I kept telling myself "No, it's just a stage, I'm not gay or bi, I'm just curious that's all." That was probably because everyone in my school was so against gays and bis, and I just grew up learning that it was wrong. But by the time I reached high school, I realized that people were not all against that, and it IS okay to be attracted to the same gender. So about halfway through my 9th grade year, I admitted to myself and some of my friends that I was bisexual. It's sad, really, that I had to go through 5 and 1/2 years of denial, just because I thought my friends would hate me for it. I just learned that if they your friends, they won't hate you for something like that. So now almost everyone knows, except my family. My family is very conservation, and they hate any type of homosexual behavior, so I won't tell them what I am until I move out.
And Amber, good luck to you and your girl. Just so you know, even if you get married in Canada, if you come back to the States, a lot of states won't accept it as a legal marriage. This whole controversy ((I think I may have spelled that wrong)) over gay rights is stupid. Why would other people care who you marry? Even if they think it's "wrong" or a "sin" or "you could go to Hell for it", that's not their problem. Society today just.... it irks me sometimes.

KuraiBijin Why would other people care who you marry? Even if they think it's "wrong" or a "sin" or "you could go to Hell for it", that's not their problem. Society today just.... it irks me sometimes. They just use the fact that its considired a 'sin' to cover up the fact that they think it's gross... they allow plenty of other 'sins' to be legal. Look at the cosmetics asile at the supermarket... 'tis full of sin... VANITY! And then sex before marriage... also a sin... but the conservatives don't b***h about that too much either. And murder... an EXTREME sin... yet many of the conservatives support war and death row... are such not murder? Ok... to all the happy little homophobic uber-christians... they shouldn't b***h about OUR sins... try fixing THIER OWN sins before they go bitching to us. And just because somthing grosses them out it dosn't give them the right to deny others of it! Meat and straight sex gross me out... but I don't go around trying to ban them! Homophobes need to learn to just live and let live.

I know that the marriage isn't going to be legal. >.< The state I live in is slowly trying to fight for gay rights, but it's an up-hill battle. My girlfriend and I always joke about going to Califonira to elope. ^.^;; (Read: Las Vegas).
My parents are alright (finally) with me being a lesbain. It started out as being 'bisexual' as to not scare them. My mother was a bit weirded out when she found out; she kept asking me what being 'bisexual' meant. I didn't understand why she found this such a hard concept to grasp. >.< I finally came out and told my father and my mother that I'm a lesbian. I'm not attracted to males, and when I am (on the very, very rare occasion) I get scared when I think of doing anything with them.
I'm sorry to hear that your feelings had to be supressed for so long.
Mine did too - my friend who I'd play footsie with and such (when I first realized I was a lesbian) was Catholic, and refused to experiment because it was a 'sin'. I said fine, and waited until a girl came and pulled me into bed. ^.^ One of the greatest nights of my life, needless to say. Heh. T'was lots of fun. *nervous laugh*
Society irks me too...heh. *kicks things* Yup. Definantly irks me.

I feel that people have freedom to like whomever they choose. It is illegal here to have a gay marrage, thats just stupid... I agree. I just wrote a page about it for a project in my Computer Concepts class. It upsets me how America can be so close-minded about gay people..I mean, they're people, you know? Not everyone is the same. rolleyes

Well i might as well chuck in my 2 cents, I'm straight and have never had the urge to 'experiment' with my sexuality, although i've had a few offers... Trouble is sometimes people believe that i must be gay because i have a feminine face...
I don't see anything wrong with homosexuality as a close friend of mine came out and we both went to gay bars together so he could adjust smile
