Elle didn't mind either. Well, obviously, she's the one who did it! So ...they were ...
She giggled somewhat as the word 'girlfriends' came to mind. Though they really hadn't been on a date or anything...

"Where you you like to go?" Elle asked, places whirling through her mind. Movies, some people went to cafes... though Elle really couldn't do that properly... and talked, some people went to ...um. She couldn't think beyond those two.

Elle laughed. That was different, but it was kind of nice too. If Luna wouldn't be bored doing that. "You would want to help me do that? I could... I could get some food too so we could eat there...?"

"It's a date then?" Elle asked, and laughed. That sounded so cheesy. She still felt tense around Luna, but the laughing had eased up some of her nerves.
Plus she'd kissed Luna. And Luna hadn't pushed her away or been offended! That really helped too.

Well, so much for keeping time. It took the sensation of Jokeph gently pulling Luna away from Elle by her braid in order to remind her that they needed to be getting home. Like, thirty minutes ago.

Elle would have glared at Jo... who inturrupted kissing?!... but she was sure that whatever it was, it had to be a good reason.
That didn't mean she had to like it!
