The Blue Slime Bubbling thingys drop fish spears razz

Oh ok, I'd fought a lot of those a bit ago and havn't seen them drop anything, I'll have to keep at it since I'd like to get one. Those sell for more than I expected when I looked at SW. THanks!

Got a Ryden, and got on Sleepywood.net

Not too much for this entry, I meant to do some leveling and help a friend with a quest, but ended up having a serious and needed IRL conversation with a friend most of the day. Got signed up on Sleepywood forums, yay signups returned! I had just checked it on a fluke and its back xd Did a lot of browsing, the market areas are great! Now I have a better idea on prices for things and I know how to buy things from other people for less than store price and better stats. I gave in and bought myself a Ryden and I'm glad I did. There was a mostly empty thread for one with 48 atk for 80k, which sure beats 45atk for 150k. So I contacted them in-game and bought it from a dude named infernoboy. Took a while to hook up since he was in Ossyria till he leveled and I had to wait for him to come back to Victoria, but I'm patient. I think it was a decent deal, I've seen the same atk rate sell for more. Its a pretty nice-looking bow too. Yay more powerful! xd
Oh yeah, at one point when I was walking from Sleepywood to Henesys, I randomly decided to see if I could take on a Stone Golem. It didn't really work, I missed a lot and didn't do much damage. There was one below and I'd climb down, shoot at him, climb up and go over on the upper platforms till he slowly walked over, run back and repeat. I don't think I even came close but I burned a good number of MP pots. Eventually two more appeared and I gave up, and waited for someone else to kill them just to see if I'd get exp. I don't think I did though so it was just sad crying
Random question, when people list a weapon or something as 'clean' in a SW thread when they sell it, what does that mean?
So that's all for yesturday. I see on SW there's some kind of Archer Council meeting tonight at 10pm EST, I may drop in out of curiousity. More details are in the SW thread- http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/showthread.php?t=136707

Clean means it's "unscrolled". No scrolls used on it, so you can grade it all you want.
Some uses less than 100% scrolls and if they fail, it'll waste an upgrade slot, making the equip "unclean" so to say.

Ok, that was what I suspected 3nodding That sucks it uses up a chance even if you fail xp So if you do fail you're slightly decreasing weapon value, though if you succeed it goes up. Don't most items have a good number of chances, like 5+? When I get a Red Viper I'm going to try to get one with a good atk and attempt to scroll it tho I'll probably fail. I'm starting to get a small collection of scrolls from quests though most I'd never use.

Shooting the ol' bow, Quest work, and Much Thanks!

Mostly working on leveling, what else is new? Finally made it to 31 and that felt like a big effort, man I don't know how Emi made it from 35 to 40 in that same amount of time crying Its so sloooow getting exp now! I dont' have the time to be on for hours a day, and everywhere there are so many people most of the time too so you have to do some wandering before you can kill much. I'm a little bit at a loss as to the best leveling spot now, I guess I'm sticking with boars, though Land of the Wild Boar sucks beause they reappear too fast and I always get almost killed because I get mobbed. Bleah. So I'm sticking to Perion Dungeon area and Mountain area.
Went over to Sleepywood to fight some curse eyes for the Robe quest, they're still kinda hard but I can take em down if I use up a lot of MP. Man, I don't know how I'm going to get a diamond for the quest though, I keep killing stuff and I've only found one diamond ore this whole time crying Give me diamonds you blasted orange mushies!! crying When Emi gets to finish that last jump quest for me and I get a glove, if I get 2 more mithrils (yeah 20 ores) I can upgrade it. At least those ores aren't as expensive. Going to take me a while to get the bananas for that quest too, but at least that will eventually be obtainable. I want to do all the quests but don't know if that's really feasible, I need a couple more fames to be able to get Blackbull's 2nd and I can't even bring down one stone golem so it'll be a while before I can gather the things for that quest too.
Emi, the huge sweetheart she is, got me a Red Viper as an early b-day present heart I still dont' know what I'm going to get for her, I guess maybe I should draw her something though I havn't been drawing at all lately. Most of the stuff on MS is really pricey and I'm not high enough level to be making the good bling-bling on monster drops. I was going to see if I could trade up the Viper for one with a better atk, the one she got me was 50 but I have a decent Ryden which has one of 48, I'd like to get one with 53-55 and dang those are expensive. I usually don't care about that kind of thing, I don't pay attention to stat ranges on armor or anything, but I want to continue using the Viper as long as possible and skip the Vaulter, since the Viper is the last bow with a fast speed, so I wanted to get a good atk one and scroll it if possible. I've been trying to save as much as possible towards one though, I only have about 250k.
I'm currently selling a couple things on Sleepywood.net- a Dark Avenger (lvl 35 thief armor) and 2 scrolls- 10% DEF for bottomwear, 100% DEF for helmet. If you're interested look me up over there, same user name as here. I already have a big on the Avenger but the scrolls may be harder to sell. Though the friggin place seems to be down a lot too xp
SadDiamond is also a sweetie, she's helped me get a set of lvl 40 armor (except shoes), thank you soooo much to her as well! heart That's one of my favorite archer armor sets, I can't wait to be able to wear it! Whee, I may not be near the highest level, but its fun being the most active bowman!

I love my Red Viper, and its the nice people that make you smile...

Gah, made it to 80% so should get lvl 32 today finally. Waaaah can't wait to get to lvl 35 so I can use the Red Viper!!! crying That bow is my baby, I'm going to use it forever since its the last fast bow, and try to scroll it up all nice. I don't know why the Battle Bow is fast, but the Ryden isn't, I'd rather have a fast weapon than a DEX bonus from it xp The Ryden is pretty though, but I'll probably have to sell it later for the money, though seems like everyone has a Ryden to sell nowadays, I got it pretty cheap. I'm going to keep my Battle Bow till I can use my Viper since I still use the speed for killing little stuff occasionally, then I'll either sell it on SW.net or if someone here wants it feel free to call dibs.
So was mostly poking around leveling. Ran into a lvl 35 warrior at the first dungeon map of Perion fighing boars, watched him a bit because he was doing mad damage and complemented him, he was getting up to 1000 damage sometimes 3nodding So I went over to the other side and started fighting, and he came over and killed something that was running away from me as I shot it and apologized. I said 'np' since I'm not going to get on someone's case over one accidental ks, and he offered to trade fame. He said let him try first, but he didn't have a fame left so he said sorry. I went ahead and raised his fame anyway, since anyone who acts civily and will even apologize for accidentally killing one thing deserves a fame in my book. He was like 'OMG THANKS!' and offered to party, so he instead made it his mission to try to get me more exp xd He said he wanted to level me but I was too far away, so I still got an extra 5% exp from him before he had to go, so that was really nice of him, plus he didn't pick up his drops hardly at all so I ended up netting some decent mesos too. His name was ChronoArk, so if you happen to see him he's a nice guy and made my evening 3nodding Oh yes and he was good luck! I found my second diamond ore from a Dark stump finally shortly after joining with him xd Later on also found a Sabertooth axe which should sell decently, has good sellback at least. AND even later on found a Green Legolia from a Dark Axe Stump, curses why couldn't it have been a Legollesse? Ah well still should be able to sell it or trade it, it was a good drops night, also found a couple of low level things for my friend who just joined.
Went to Pig Beach late and managed to find a channel where the first section wasn't taken, so I claimed it. Not as much exp individually as boars, but I can kill them so fast and its so fun that I still get decent exp from them, 2 arrow bombs can take care of a crowded group fast heart I saw another lvl 35 hunter on another channel doing the same thing, though she had some skills I don't have yet, I think she was using Soul Arrow. Some other people tried to come in and hang in my area, but the way I look at it is I was here first, if I ks you because you've decided to try to kill right next to me than you can deal with it or change channels, because getting a spot on PB is a pain. So I had some lower levels try to hone in on my area and I'm sure they probably hated me when I used arrow bomb but I dont' really care, I stayed in that area before the first bump and I didn't bother anyone else, so I ignored em. Once an iron hog showed up I went back to town and called it a night, though he cleared the channel pretty fast LOL. Its no good with no one else killing in other areas of PB though, they don't respawn fast enough.
Anyway, still need 1 more fame I think to do the Blackbull quest, maybe I can find someone to trade with today or someone worth faming. I find if you find someone doing something nice and fame them, they usually fame you back if they can anyway 3nodding

Just another entry to update where I'm at.

Nothing particularly exciting happening lately. Just sloooowly working on leveling. I was so mad I died the other night, just because it takes soooo long to get exp now, and it was a stupid death. I decided to check out how much damage I could do to a stone golem again out of curiousity, so saw one below on Hidden Street between Henesys and Sleepywood and decided to go at it a bit. I actually was doing pretty decent damage so I was happy, this time with persistance I could probably take him out since they move so slow! I went up on the platforms and lured him to the left, then quick dashed and jumped down to the right... only to find two more golems had suddenly spawned stressed I had enough hp total to take it, but the sequence of about 3 hits of 200+ damage in a row knocked out my current hp and I frantically hit the potion button to no avail crying So still working on getting that back, will be a while before I level, gawd lvl 35 seems so far away. Since I can't find any Legollesse armor for sale I'm going to have to go back to El Nath then to buy it too. At least that should be easier.
I'm pretty excited about the guild meetup that will be tomorrow most of the day, I hope I don't have to work part of it. I've been gathering a lot of monster drops which will hopefully help some people with quests, I have no much luck at item drops and the really good stuff I find I honestly need the money from selling it so I'm not quite that generous sweatdrop
I also want to extend thanks to Savante and SadDiamond once again for helping me out with bowman stuffs heart I don't know what I'd do without you guys! (And the Vaulter was really too much for just taking over the guild!!)

One more level stronger...

I havn't had a whole lot of time to play lately, I was trying to keep ahead of Feety and Oggy but I think Feety has likely passed me by now. Finally got lvl 33 the other night, I just really want to make it to lvl 35 but still have a ways to go.
I di dhave a bit of random luck, I was healing near Sleepywood and a thief or something stood next to me and was like 'bow scroll for sale!!@@@@@@' (gee, kinda obvious it was directed at me since I was the only other person on the map.) Ended up getting a 60% bow attack scroll for 180k which is a decent deal, he and I both knew they normally regularly go for 200k. A slightly unexpected purchase, but I had to take advantage of that. I really want a 60% jump scroll still, I had a deal with someone but they sold it before I could find them online xp They usually go for more like 250-300k each, and now I'm rather low on money... I still really want one since I can use it right away, but I should be saving for Legollesse armor so I can buy it from the store right away at lvl 35...
I think I'll get on today just so I can at least make a bit more money. Hopefully will get to lvl 34 in not too long...
My friend just started playing MS for the first time, he's Draeghen a lvl 11 bowman, I'm helping him with my mage who got 2 more levels or so since last I updated her. I'm enjoying playing the mage for a change from my bowman somtimes. She's pretty good. I have to start deciding more seriously what I should be doing with her skills though, I'm not quite sure what to build up first. I've been focusing on MP increase, MP regen increase, and magic claw for now. I probably wasted too many points initially on bolt, but ah well, its cheaper in MP and was doing more damage than claw for a while. Claw is awesome now though.

Just need the bottoms now...

I finally found someone selling the lvl 35 F Bowman top, those are hard to come by since they're dropped by much harder stuff than the M ones. Didn't save too much money on it but at least I saved a little and the def was slightly higher than normal, and I didn't have to go to Ossy for it. Now to find the bottoms...
I'm getting really close to lvl 34, I wanted to get there but I didn't have enough time. I'm sure Oggy and Feety are smoking by me by now, I also know I won't have a lot of time to play this week either sweatdrop Argh lvl 35 is so close and yet so far!! I just want to get there. I'm going to head to Ossyria after that more than likely, no real point in staying in Victoria with my main when my mage is starting to get to a decent level.
My friend got some time to play so I played with him with my mage, who is quite fun. I'm getting torn again what to make her, I was pretty sure about Cleric but there are quite a few in the guild and it seems like they have a harder time than other mages. I also want to get her level high enough so I can start doing some quests, so at least I'll get more earrings and a good stocking of potions or at least have more items to sell *prays for good scrolls*
I'm also debating whether to start getting active on Bera and make a thief over there. My lineup would probably be thief, warrior, and mage since I enjoy mages and wouldn't mind having another one with a different 2nd job, and you always need a warrior mule. I really don't know crap about making a proper thief though, its always seemed kinda complecated to me, but their clothes are so cute.
Found a brown jester hat for my mage and that's all for interesting drops. I should get the next level of clothes for her soon... I reallyreally want a 60% jump scroll, gotta fight some more boars to get the money for that.

Yay level 35! xd

Yay I finally made it to level 35 yestuday! I'm so happy!! Yeah I'm way behind everyone else now since I havn't had a lot of time to play and I'm not the best hardcare leveler anyway, but hey I like my character. I like this armor, it looks nicer than previous levels and I can finally use my Viper *hugs it*! Its sooo nice and fast! I had a 10% and a 60% scroll saved for use on it. So first off I tried my 10% with little hope of success, and by some miracle it worked!! eek My viper was originally 53atk, and now its 58atk, +1 dex, +3 accuracy. heart The 60% failed but I don't really care, if I can only get a couple more scrolls to work I'll be set! I still have 5 slots left... now to get some more 60% bow scrolls... also still seeking 60% jump and speed for shoe scrolls, but I don't have that much money that I can buy several of them.
So I'm going to gather some quest items for my mage for a bit, and get her through the lvl 15-20 quests, and then head over to Ossyria for a while. I still need to get the bottoms to this armor, fortunately the lvl 30 bottoms don't look too bad with it 3nodding
And yes, I'm must add, my friend is sooo lucky. He's a lvl 17 bowman, his first character, and what does he find? A panlid. I can't tell you how many green mushies I've killed... stare Ah well. Its sad, I don't even have the money to buy it off him for my mage, if they still going for what I think they are. I was with him when it dropped, I was like QUICK PICK IT UP NOW!!! Heh. I'll at least help him sell it if he wants to. God, if only pan lids could be purchased in stores... I didn't really plan on getting a pan lid for my mage since I'd rather spend the money on other stuff, I just think they look a heck of a lot nicer than stolen fences, the def boost isn't that fabulous.

Tubes take over!

MS was starting to get to me yesturday, but it was partly my fault. I refuse to pay outrageous prices for a tube, so I was trying to get one for myself. I thought the easiest one to get would be blue, so I spent over an hour in the Subway with absolutely no luck. It was pretty mobbed too, since bubblings only appear in good numbers on a few maps. I was even being a nice sucker and helping other people get jr. necki skins... During that time I started to get really rather irked at mages, many of who would just wander the map circuit killing. I even saw a group of mages who ALREADY HAD blue tubes and they were like 'well we want more so we can get one with better stats or sell them' which I just find really selfish. The tube stats aren't that great. Whe the hell keep looking for one with like 1 point better attack? They're meant as fun items not primary weapons. So I finally gave up and left. Heck I still want a fish spear but didn't find anything at all.
So I decided to go back to gathering stuff for my mage's quests. I needed Charms of Undead, so I figured the Ant Tunnel would be mobbed but I'd just go and get those and not try to get a tube though the red one was the one I wanted most. Some people just looking for tubes don't pick up their drops so I figured that would just make it a bit easier. I went in a ways to get away from the crowd towards the entrance. Then I found a pretty good spot where nobody was around and settled in to killing around there. And then 5min later a Cleric shows up. I was handling a mob at the bottom, and he just comes down and finishes them all off and picks up my bronze ore (since I was too busy fighting to pick it up yet) and proceeds to take over the area, killing most stuff before I can even get a couple shots off. Now I'm pretty pissed. I don't really give a crap about a bronze ore, but it was the principle of the thing. And THEN he kills a couple zombie shrooms I was going for and they drop a red tube!! I got over there before him and was soooo tempted to just grab it but I didn't, because two wrongs don't make a right. Then he's like 'just let me level I only have 5% left'. Some more mages came by and I just gave up and left. I'm sure as soon as he'd gone someone else would show up anyway. So I continued deeper in. I'd always for some reason assumed that evil eyes were harder than curse eyes, but now I realize they're not. I've only been though most of Ant Tunnel once quick with Emi, so this is the first time I've been exploring further by myself. The terrain is much better once you get past the annoying steam area so I was happy about that. I was also seeking the 24hour store so I could get the quest water and salad. (Does the Door of Dimension have any function?) I hung around a while near Ant Tunnel Park just killing things, I need evil eye tails later anyway so I figured I may as well gather those too. And one dropped a pair of the yellow box earrings, which I considered a consolation prize for the tube since they're the same coloring. I don't particularly like those earrings though I do like earrings so I still liked that I got them. I didn't bother going past the Evil Eye caves since I knew past there was harder stuff I couldn't handle, and no point in getting unnecessairaly killed.
Finally after healing at the 24hour store I went below and was killing zombie shrooms and one finally dropped a tube! YAY! I was so pleased by that it made my day a lot better. I didn't know what the tube stats were at all either, so I was even more pleased that the red boosts speed a lot! The atk stat isn't great but its still enough to kill half decently with, I figure this tube is pretty good for warriors. Wheee so now whenever I'm in town I go zipping around in my tube! I can't wait to boost the speed on my shoes so I go even faster! I may try again for a blue tube later on just cause they're cute, and I'll probably pass altogether on the purple since I can't kill those enemies well and I don't care that much about MP, I only want the tubes for fun not for actual use (and I don't particularly like purple as well.)
My only other good find was a pair of red lvl 35 M thief pants, I forget what dropped those. Thief clothes are so cute! But I just can't bring myself to go through leveling yet another new character right now xp

For the record, Yoru, Evil Eyes have about half the HP of Curse Eyes (700 vs. 1250). And, uh, yeah. GO past Evil Eyes and you get pwnt. Drakes, Cold Eyes, Wild Cargos, Tauros of both types. Not fun.
