Hallo_Blucht Christopher Lee...Lugosi... *sigh* no mention? I still love Nosferatu and the Satanic Rites of Dracula *Drool*...the amount of time i spent looking for the DVDs and shirts. There was a German remake of Nosferatu, from what i hear its still in b&w, but they upgraded the music. Its next to impossible to find. One day... Who's your favorite dracula?

I found a copy of Nosferatu in the campus library. Maybe I will get it sometime before finals.

Old Horror is by far my favorite. Especially old Price flicks.
The Bat with Price and Moorehead House on Haunted Hill '59 with Price and Long The Last Man on Earth '64 with Price
are all good movies with Vincent.

I picked Psycho because Hitchcock is the master. I'd take classics over modern horror anyday.

blurring_the_lines Why doesn't anybody appreciate the classics anymore. No one remembers the good ones that started it all without them we wouldn't know the word fear. hmmm, i like the really classic ones - like all the black and white ones!

i like classic movies mostly from the 60's 70's and 80's i am not a huge fan of those silent films or horrors from the 20's and 30's except for draacula and frankenstein.

Too true. It's hard to flop a zombie movie, as long as you have massive amounts of gore and a bad a** hero you're good to go. It's when they mess with zombie behavior that really gets to me which is why I tend to stick to the classics.

PossessedByDevil mysterious love Gunslinger_Harrison mysterious love Why doesn't anybody appreciate the classics anymore. No one remembers the good ones that started it all without them we wouldn't know the word fear. What do you mean? Everyone likes the older Horror movies the best. Well, mostly. Everyone I've talk to either know nothing about horror or they like the crap like House of 1000 Corpses. I like Rob Zombie, but that was just stupid and demented. I agree that the threads that say movies like House of Wax and Texas Chainsaw Massacre really piss me off in this guild. When I first saw those links I was like "Ooh we're going to talk about the originals because this is the horror guild where people are supposed to know horror." Then when I clicked on them I was just like "Why are you guys in this guild if you're link goes to this crap and you've never seen the original." I hate people like that. Thank you! I agree with you. There's a fair amount of people here that don't know what they're talking about. And don't even get me started on the cult/independent movie forum.
