 "Wat yew liek tew dew?" Medusa asked, leaning close to him. He intrigued her, and from down below, it was quite obvious one had a crush on the other.
Kanth smiled, leaning against the tree and watching lazily.

Jett shrugged eloquently-- he hadn't really thought about it yet. "Don't... know." After all, this was really his first time out and about, wasn't it? "What... do you like... to do?" Slowly. Get the words right. The boy wanted to sound right, the way other people sounded right.
Raven smiled as she leaned against the tree as well, her eyes trained on the kids-- just in case.

"I liek tew swim. Do yew swim?" Medusa asked, blinking at him curiously. She reached up to touch him, then remembered her hands hurt, and withdrew them. She didn't want to hurt him.

"...never... tried," Jett shrugged, feeling slightly... embarassed at that. "When..." No, not when, he corrected himself mentally, "...where... do you... swim?" he asked, carefully.

"Ocean. Pool. Uh, Dee-corp, with ... friends!" She spoke cheerily, raising her hands in the air as if she was celebrating.

Friends. Another foreign word to Jett. He basically understood it-- people you are around. But in all honesty, it didn't really register in the boy's mind as a real concept. "...I see." Perhaps he should try this swim thing sometime.

"Yer my friend, rite?" Medusa said softly, staring at him with those grey eyes of hers.
"Medusa, we have to go," Kanth called up, giving an apologetic look to Raven. "I have to make dinner, or else I get griped at for being lazy." She rubbed the back of her neck, laughing softly.

"...yes?" Jett blinked. Was that a question? Friend. Friend was what? ...he'd figure it out later.
"We should go too," Raven glanced up at Jett. "Jett, can you and Medusa come down?" she called up to her little boy.
Jett blinked and took hold of Medusa's wrists again, holding her close and crawling down with another pair of hands.

Medusa smiled, then let herself be carried as she stared at him.
"I think that is the cutest thing I've ever seen," Kanth commented, hiding behind a smile.
