Ayanna listened to the further explanation attentively, even if by now she basically knew the answer anyway. The Jedi Master was obviously skilled with words, being as graceful with them as she seemed to be physically. Even in what seemed to be a relatively simple explanation she was eloquent, and hardly ever stated things as facts.
Ayanna expected that since the other children would share some classes with her regardless of their chosen temples than she would most likely be having classes with both Masters. She hoped the majority of them would be with ehr Master though, as she was afraid she might not catch all the subtleties of what the Jedi Master said. Char-Langui seemed to say things as they were, simply and plainly. Probably because he wanted whatever he told his studentd to do done right then, and not a week later when they puzzled out what he meant. Of course, his teaching manner might be very different from his speaking manner, and she had no doubt he could be round-about as well when he wanted to be.
She had to smile slightly at the explanation itself as well. Although only recently a Sith, her high spirits, Kahiga's ingrained beliefs, and Aiden, had given her a 'go team' attitude and she already believed the Sith were the better choice. In her mind the explanation shortened to 'Jedi try to fix things, when they can't, the Sith come in and clean things up'.

Slowly, emerald opened to see a single red "eye" staring back at him, the digital voice erupting the moment the droid was sure the boy was awake, or at least partially.
Edan jumped in his seat, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, grumbling something incoherent even to Jin's sensors. "Jin, why are you yelling at me?" the ten year-old whined sleepily, blinking to finally clear the drossiness from his vision. However, his question was answered for him when he looked around, realizing none of the other hopefuls were present. Then he saw the open door.
"Crap!" His voice seemed slightly louder in the empty room, and he mentally prayed no one heard his sudden outburst. Snatching up his bag, he pulled it onto his shoulders and ran through the door in hopes of catching up.
It wasn't long before he found the small group, and immediately slowed his pace to a respectful walk as he neared the other students. And so, he lingered in the background, listening to Ayanna's questions and the Masters' logical and informing answers. He found many of his own questions being asked for him, thus a further reason to remain silent in his eyes. Yet, it also gave him the time to see yet another student, one he had not noticed before in the Waiting Room. As he had suspected, Ayanna was the first to greet her, and from watching the girls' conversation, he not only learned the new girl's name, but that his ears had not deceived him previously.
"So... Ayanna is going to become a Sith..." he thought, closing his eyes in regret. "Then... doesn't that mean we're going to be enemies?" Jin beeped beside him, and the boy took a breath. Stepping forward but a single step, he looked up at the masters with calm eyes. "I'm going to be a Jedi, too," he stated calmly, turning to the blonde girl with a soft smile. "I was hoping we'd be able to go to the same temple together, but at least we can talk in some of the classes, right, Ayanna?"
A quick glance at Aiden sent a small chill down his spine. She seemed... distant, her personality one he had yet to encounter himself. Though he wondered if it was simply how she addressed strangers, or maybe just future Sith -he winced a bit at this thought-, much the same way Kailey was for what he'd seen in their meeting. He gave her the same smile, and bowed his head in greeting. "Hello, Aiden is it? I'm Edan. I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of each other now, so I hope we get along." He held out his hand to the pale girl, his smile growing in his genuine cheerful nature as Jin beeped his own greeting to the Nagai. Plus, he wasn't very fond of the idea of making an enemy out of the same girl he was, in a sense, going to be his classmate.
"Maybe... Jin and Kailey might have some advice of how to make friends with her, just in case."

Aiden eyed the boy curiously before briefly shaking his hand. " A pleasure to meet you. " She said formally, with a small smile. So he'll be a fellow Jedi... Aiden thought to herself. She nodded politely to the boy, but turned away to discourage further conversation.
Although t he boy did not carry the same commanding presence as Ayanna did, Aiden still felt slightly on edge. She knew it was from the previous conversation with Ayanna, but she didn't want to engage the other students any more than necessary at this point in time. She could feel her thoughts churning as she processed all the new information being presented. She wanted nothing more to be excused to her room and enter a relaxing meditating trance. She had encountered many new people, and she wanted to have time to adjust to her new surroundings and solidify her composure before she began interacting with the other students.

Char-Langui humphed as he watched the children interact. "Well," he said, "it seems like most of you have made your decisions then. Ayanna hopes to be a Sith, and Charsiir and Edan are for Sva'La and the Jedi." His eyes were completely hidden from view, but from the furrowing of his brow, it could be inferred that he was glaring. "How nice."
"There still remain a few of you who have not chosen your temple. Please do so now, or ask any remaining questions you may have. The time is nearly upon us to make the journey to the temples themselves."

"I've decided to become a Jedi as well." Aiden chimed in after Master Char-Langui made his announcement. She looked around for the others who have yet to make their decision.

"Of course we can still talk!" Excalimed Ayanna, impulsively hugging Edan, as she did she whispered mischievously into his ear "Although we may have to be awfully tricky about it!"
It seemed as if pretty much everyone other than her was going to be a jedi. Well that was alright, she would really be the best Sith now. Althoug maybe the Twi'lek would become a Sith as well. That would be nice, so if there were classes just for the Sith, and she was there would be some, she wouldn't have to be alone. Although if she was then she wouldn't have to worry about keeping up or her teacher not having time for her questions. On the other hand she would have to try extra hard so she didn't get lazy or anything.

He'd admit, the blatant fact Aiden didn't wish to hold some sort of conversation did hit a personal nerve in him, though he had to check himself from attempting to rekindle the spark of interaction. Being in the same temple, the same classes, he found it likely the opportunity to speak with her again would show itself eventually, if not at a time more comfortable to both participants.
Charsiir's native language sent a jolt through his head as he looked to the Wookiee, blinking. Like before, he knew nothing about his native language and could only ponder the boy's decision. Normally, he would say the pacifist nature of the Jedi would suit him the best, but after hearing Ayanna turning to the violent Sith... "The Wookiees are known for their strength, though. I've never heard much about the peaceful side of their race..." His thoughts only served to confuse him more, however, and so with a sigh thrust them into the back of his mind until the inevitable answer later on.
Color flew to his cheeks when he felt arms around him, more so when he realized it was Ayanna. He was physically close to her before... but hugging means the person is very close... very, very close, actually. Closer than he'd ever been before with anyone outside his family, never mind a girl. Sure his sponsor had hugged him, but that was completely different, she was so much older than he was. The smiling blonde wasn't, though, she was at least his age. Thus the sudden awkwardness and lack of words which only seemed to worsen when she whispered in his ears before he closed his eyes and swallowed softly.
Opening his eyes once more, he took a fraction of a breath to calm his wild nerves back into place and to cool the burning color in his face. His arm rose up to give her a quick affectionate squeeze around her shoulders -the only response he knew of to the situation from a lack of experience beyond, once again, family- before falling back to his side as he nodded his head with a grin. "I'm glad," was his simple reply, although unsure if he was to somehow respond to the second part, and if so, how exactly to do it. So he left it alone, if only with a silent pray he didn't pick up on something he should have or something of the like.
He never was very good at reading girls.

Ayanna just grinned impishly, it may have surprised some, but she actually didn't have anything else to say at that moment. A lot of what was going on in Edan's head flew right over her own, but the blushing she caught easily enough and perhaps accounted for part of her grin.
It was a fact that socially, Ayanna was rough around the edges. Oh people liked her, she got on with most everyone, but differing customs that might make something normal for her completely inappropriate for someone else never occured to her.
Such things would most likely be covered in at least one of her classes, if not, or if they weren't covered soon enough, it would almost certainly land her in trouble. A hug had made Edan uncomfortable, but perhaps someone else it would enrage. there were any number of things that could be taken badly be someone of another culture, and not a single one of them ocured to Ayanna.

"Does anybody understand Shyiiwook?" Charsiir asked hopefully, he was totally bored with talking to himself and only a remote amount of others, sure they were great but he wasn't used to people not understanding him. He strained his voicecords and said "HI!" he immediately clapped his hand to his mouth, he had said it to loud.
He wondered to the bag in his room, was it a prank, a gift, or just something to occupy his time, he realised it was no use wondering what it was. His mind turned to what he wanted it to be, well there were only a few answers to that, first of all, some kind of translator or someway for him to speak basic. Or something to remind him of home. His mind then turned to fantasies of finding a vibroblade or a blaster, well, he hoped.

-Later that Night-
They'd all returned to the Waiting Room, and new younglings had arrived. Chatter had started up, and new friendships were slowly being forged. And then the Masters came, and Maki and Demarr were there to stay -he also heard there were two other students joining them, too, to boot-. And then they'd -or at least him- went to their rooms... and he, personally, set down his bag and promptly collapsed on the bed and fell right to sleep. Too much had happened that day for him to stand another minute, but an unfortunate side effect was that he ended up waking up...
Sometime, after midnight maybe? It was late, that much he knew. Sure, the jungle planet might have had a completely different time schedule than Dantooine, but even still, his internal clock still cried out a late hour and it troubled him. Enough, in fact, to throw off his covers -Jin must have tucked him in-, and pull on his shoes before slipping out of his room. The droid had awoken as he passed, silent as he followed the boy to the human's relief. He wasn't very fond of being alone in a dark, new, big bug filled temple.
So he... wondered. And wondered, and wondered; crept through the Jedi temple before, after a few minutes of whispered bickering with Jin to finally flat-out tell him where by the Force he was, finding himself back in the Main Hall. His emerald eyes had long since adjusted to the almost non-existent lighting, to say the least for his limited human capabilities, and now stood staring up through the roof-window, watching the night creatures skitter around through the trees. "What a weird planet," he whispered to the droid who responded in a low drone. "And even weirder creatures, too. I've never heard those kinds of calls before, even from the bol back home. I wonder if there're even weirder creatures out there somewhere..."

Everything still felt like a dream for Maki, although after a few moments of pinching her own arms and feeling the pain caused by it, she gave up on the idea that she was dreaming. This was real, and as she moved her bags up into one of the rooms, she felt herself plop down on the bed in there. But.. Maki didn’t have a typical sleeping schedule.
She was use to staying up till around two in the morning, and then waking back up at ten. That was how it was every day for Maki, back at the cantina, and so now she was sitting there on top of her bed and about ready to go crazy. Even the creatures outside seemed to be having more fun that Maki. Her brown eyes turned to the door, as she looked over to her new clothing. Of course it was a typical Jedi tunic, but she was worried that it was to loose and not tight enough for a theelin like herself to be wearing.
After a few moments of deliberating, she ended up going on a search for a kitchen and some type of food. After all, the only type of food she had eaten that pervious day was the fruit from Damarr, and that wasn’t as filling as she would have liked. So, after fixing up her clothing and moving to the door of the room, Maki started outside and wandering the halls.
Everything was so lonely and bright, and soon enough the figure of someone standing in a window caught her attention. Who could be up at this hour? Moving towards the form, she listened to the person speak as she tried to think of a response to him. Moving quickly, she tapped the boy on the shoulder as she grinned. “I’ma sure there’s weirder creatures out here, and even here in the walls of the temples. But, chu seem to be up a bit late? How come, are you looking for food as well? Or can Chu just not sleep?" she asked, just trying to be friendly.

Edan's hands flew to his mouth as he jumped, heavily muffling a yelp of shock when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder. For a moment there, he thought it was the little Sith man, or maybe even the Jedi Master. He'd be dead for sure if it'd been either, and thus couldn't help the heavy sigh of relief when he realized it was only Maki.
"Food? No, I just... yeah, I couldn't sleep. I mean, I was, I fell asleep when I got to my room, and then I woke up, and now I'm not tired, so I decided to look around," he explained after the breath calmed him once again. The girl could be very silent when she wanted to, it seems. His head tilted to the side, frowning slightly. "What about you? Wait... as well? Oh, you were hungry then? Did you find anything?" His mind seemed a bit slow at the moment, a trait he could align directly with the still lingering grogginess left over by sleep. It was clearing, though, especially after the little scare.
His curious frown faded when Jin gave her a warm greeting, chirping softly between them. "I'm kind of shocked he didn't sense you coming, though. I guess his sensors aren't very good." He'd expected a retaliation, but not for him to dive bomb him soundlessly after sharp single beep. Edan groaned and rubbed the top of his head gingerly with both hands where the black orb stuck him the hardest, slinking away from the peeved droid and more towards Maki. "Never mind, never mind! Just because you didn't say anything doesn't mean your not good. Sorry, Jin... but you didn't have to hit me." He looked to the girl with a wincing grin. "At least you also know not to say anything bad about him, too. Him, and those other weird things throughout the universe, eh?" His norm light laugh, though softened to hopefully keep them from any form of trouble, rose from his throat, as he added, "But I think you're right about that, and I don't doubt there's even odder things here in the temples, either. Actually, I'm betting on it at this rate."

Maki felt her lips turn into a grin, as Edan turned to speak with her. She was glad that he wasn’t mad at her, and at least this way things would be more even and calm. But, hearing him speak she felt a small laugh come from her lips. “I’sa see, but I’sa have not had any luck finding food. I guess.. I’sa just get lost way to easy.” She muttered, her lips turned into a small smile as she looked over towards Jin.
The poor droid seemed so full of personality that she couldn’t help but grin. Of course, it wasn’t Jin’s fault that Maki was good at being quiet, but she wouldn’t ruin Edans fun. “I’sa think your right. His sensors do seem a bit slower than normal. And don’t worry Jin, I’sa say it with love.” She giggled to him, as she stuck out her tongue with a laugh. “See, I’sa can play nice. Right Edan?” She said, proud at the fact she said Edan correctly, and not slurred.
Looking around, she giggled at his next words, although she covered her mouth quickly as she tried to be quiet. "Ah yes, I'sa think that there are odd things here. Just look at meh." She giggled, proud for one.

The pain on his head slowly subsided, and at length he dropped his hands back to his sides as she spoke. "This place is big, I don't blame you for getting lost. Two temples... I think just one is hard enough to get used to, so I think we might have even more lost round abouts before the week is done."
He laughed with her at her comment towards Jin, who merely grumbled and drifted up towards the ceiling and the large windows above. At least he wasn't being violent towards her. "That's tough love," he corrected her lightly, sticking his tongue out playfully. "But yeah, it's still clean fun."
It was nice, he realized, just talking like this. Sure, he'd gotten a chance to talk -and listen- to her earlier, but this seemed different. Maybe it was the lack of a sort of pressure that seemed to fill the air before, about who would stay and how would go. This conversation seemed... much more casual, and he liked it. It'd been a while since he had such a carefree chatter session. "If you think you're odd, look at Rie'Kus. He tried to eat Jin when we first met him. He's cute, but very odd. You're... odd, but in an interesting way. You're fun to talk with, and you don't try to eat droids; that's a bonus in both our books." His tone was light, calm, yet still filled with the childish laughter that brightened his features as he spoke, leaning against the wall.
