Chath listened politely, reconizing a few names and others not. "I have met Gabby before, she was very talkitive, and nick named me Chatty. That was a while ago though, we were younger then. I wonder how she is doing now. I Havn't seen her in a while." He started and then trailed off thinking.
"SO have you swam much before?" he asked trying to keep the conversation alive after the somewhat awkward silence. "What are your other interests?" he continued.
Kier watched as the trio set off, he was a bit amused and starteledto find the newt boy had not bothered to pick up the 'leash' gathering the rope in his mouth he trotted after them. NOt because he wanted to but because he was curious at the outcome of such events with Chath and this girl.

Vivina smiled and held in a giggle. "Yeah, she tends to give people nicknames. Mine was Vina. Her dragon's so cute, but we haven't interacted much. Ooh, I can't wait til I go over to her place. I'll try to remember to mention you and see if she remembers. We might need to make a friend gathering!" Giggling out loud now, she tried to take deep breaths and calm down again.
"Not much, but I've swam enough to know how to do it. My fur gets all heavy, and Seph's not allowed in the water. He kinda hates the pool because of the feather issue. Water-heavy feathers aren't good for flying and it's uncomfortable for him."
Vivina thought about her other interests. There were so much to tell, but she tried to cut down the list. "Well, I like fencing, pirates, drawing, cooking, reading, video games, and cats just to name a few." Grinning brightly, she walked with a small skip to her step.
Seph looked over at Keir who had the leash in his mouth. The boy forgot? Well wouldn't that mean that Keir would be free to go about and do his own things? It sure didn't seem like Keir was interested in running off. Instead he was following the group. Wondering why he was doing this, Seph slithered slightly closer to Keir, hoping that the black dragon didn't notice the move.

He laughed as she mentioned Gabby's nickname or her, "Its cute, she gave me the name Chatty, though I am not exactly sure why." he trailed off trying to remember what exactly had led to receiving that nickname.
"Heavy fur sounds dangerous, I promise we will stick to the shallows when we go swimming. I don't want to put you in danger." he stated and then smiled at Viv.
"Fencing? You build fences?" he asked a bit doubfounded, what kind of hobby was that? Now pirates he could relate too, he couldn't draw, and he wasn't big on reading. Video games were fun and he had yet to really find a cat he could like.
"I lpay video games too, but I havn't had the time lately to finish some of the games my ma gave me."
Keir looked bored, he was hoping to see more...than just talking between the girl and chath....he looked to Seph and gave him a wry grin, the rope danegled like speghetti from his jaws giving a very grusome look.

Vivina blushed and also wondered how Gabby got Chatty from Chath. Wouldn't it me more like Chathy? "Huh...Chatty...don't know how that came about. Guess you should ask her sometime."
Vivina shook her head and smiled. "Don't worry, I won't drown. Even though my fur does get heavy, I'll still be light enough to float on the surface of the water. But if you say so, shallow end it is."
Vivina laughed at the mention of fences and tried to correct him. "No, fencing is a type of sport. You use these special metal rods that look like swords to try and hit the other person in a target spot. Of course you have to wear protective armor and headgear or else you'd get stabbed. Those metal rods hurt if you get poked with them."
"Ooh! Tell me what games you have! I have to finish some old games also. I got a magazine that tells you hints and stuff for games so I think I'll try and beat some later today...if my mom lets me that is."
Seph also was bored and had soon learned to block out the voices of the children to think. Tired, bored, and desperately needing to preen his feathers, he chanced to look at Keir who, to his surprise, was already looking at him. Jumping more awake from that somewhat sinister look, Seph returned Keir with an inquisitive stare.

He laughed with Viv as she mused about his nickname given to him by Gabby, and nodded his head as she reassured him about the not drowning part.
"Well I just don't want you to go to fast. I am sure we can find some tricks that will enable you to become a stronger swimmer." he continued feeling proud of himself. He would be her guide to the water. NOw only if he had any such means to fly....
When she explained fencing he gave an oh...of wonderment. "That sound dificult you must be an expert at it though." he continued and then nodded his head as if reassuring himself of this fact.
When it came to games he lifted his arms above his head and stretched.. "Well I have my mothers old Super nintendo system....and i cna't recall all the games from there but my favorite was Chrono Trigger..that game rocks." he added at the end.
Keir watched as the two continued in their boring conversation and then noticed that Seph's response to his smile. HE gave a low dragonly chuckle.
Didn't mean to scare you...I am not as bad as I seem... this boy just makes me bad...
he started and then trailed off as his speech was a bit broken by the rope in his mouth.

Vivina shrugged and smiled. "A stronger swimmer indeed! Real sugar gliders may not swim, but I can and will get better at it." Laughing to herself now, Vivina looked up at the sky, eyes bright with determination.
Vivina shook her head. "Me? An expert? I'd like to think so, but I'm still learning how to be faster on my feet. I'd say I'm pretty decent, but not stellar. Least I'm a quick learner!" Laughing, she brushed her hair behind her ears.
Oooh...I've seen a Super Nintendo before at my uncle's house, but the only game on it was Super Mario. I've never heard of Chrono Trigger...is it really good? I only have a Playstation 2 and a Nintendo DS and my mom's not letting me buy anything else for now."
Seph hunched over a bit and replied softly, just loud enough for the black dragon to hear.
Not bad as you seem? How does this boy make you bad? Were you always bad?
Seph was curious about Keir's nature and couldn't help but try to find out the reason of his ferocity.

Chath could only grin, he liked a person who was determined and Viv was very determined. Did this mean....he liked Viv? He shook the thought from his head. Just a friend...she was just a friend. Heack he had just met her today.
"Yah it is an excellent game. I also have PS2 and Chrono Cross which is the sequal to Chrono trigger. I should lend it to you. Though I warn you now, chrono cross is meant for the ps1, so the graphics arn't excellent," he explained with a laugh.
Keir looked to Chath and then back to Seph.
Boy is weak...he try to control me but I will not let him . I am not a pet...
the dragon grumbeled trying to explain in the simpelist way.

Vivina sighed and continued to walk while looking up. However, she didn't know where her feet were carrying her and ended up bumping against Chath. Jumping a bit, she giggled and apologized. "Woops! Sorry, guess I should watch where I'm going!"
Vivina grinned at the mention of video game lending. "Ooh, I'd like that! And I wouldn't mind. Have a few PS1 games also. You should come over and play something someday. Like a tournament or something! That'd be fun..."
Seph gazed sharply at Keir and shook his head.
Silly...dragons aren't pets. We're like partners. We help the children. Your boy is trying to teach you things. You should listen to the boy and learn something. It's good for you.
Frowning slightly, Seph chanced to make the black dragon understand, even though the odds were against him. Doubt that Keir would listen to his advice, but it was worth a shot.
