Louise perked up. As long as she didn’t have to get all spiffed up she was happy. Rising to her feet she stuffed her hands in her pockets. “Okay…that sounds alright.” A half smile. Why did things always have to be awkward when something nice like a date rolled around?
Pausing a moment she looked herself up and down and grimaced. She looked like hell. She’d been out all day, her boots were mussed, her jacket was wrinkled. “Just…give me a minute to change, ‘kay?” And then she realized that she was using changing as an excuse to lock herself in her apartment and never come out.
“I guess…you can come in and wait…if you want…” Shrugging again she turned and opened the apartment door, trying hard not to run up the stairs and look like she was afraid of him.
What the hell was wrong with her? He was just a guy!

[Of course Im just a guy....Just a guy that she is starting to like ;3] Smiles and steps in, just standing infront of the door of her apartment, waiting and letting her get ready a bit, just being his own patient self for a change this time.

Louise blew through her house like a tornado…on wheels! After a moment of hectic deliberation she finally decided on what to change into and bustled about, running a brush through her hair, changing her shoes to something just a little more dressy and then she was moving towards the door.
Since Miran had put the time into looking nice for her she felt she ought to return the favor…as disgustingly nice of her as that may have been. A white blouse tucked into a above-knee length black denim skirt and a pair of nice, dressy boots and she felt pretty, like any normal girl should.
Opening the door she pulled it shut behind her, locking it in the same motion as she draped a small bag over her shoulder and a light jacket over her arm. Giving him a half smile and trying hard not to feel stupid she waited on him to make some sort of comment and put her back in her place. Life was so easy when she just barely tolerated everyone. She didn’t know what she’d do if she started liking people again.

He says with a nod and opens the door for her with his good arm, letting her out first. "After you M'lady." He was going all out to be a good impression. Even if afterwards she only wanted to be friends.

Louise cringed, blushed, ducked her head down so he wouldn’t see and drew away from him when he offered his arm. Inevitably though, she took it and let him lead. Pursing her lips and making a face that clearly showed she had no idea what to do with herself she just let him do as he pleased. “Ehm…um…thanks...?”
In all her life Louise had only ever had one other date. It had been arranged by her foster parents and had been one of the worst experiences of her life. He’d been a local boy and she’d forever had to share awkward conversations with him from that point on.

Smiles and shakes his head. "Oh no its okay. Its me who should be thanking you.....You did after all help me out quite a bit that day." He says with a nod and leads her off towards the Tavern. "You helped me get an old friend back that day." He says nodding. "This is the least I could do to pay you back." He says nodding.

So this was just a “hey thanks for saving my a**” sort of thing. He didn’t actually have any feelings for her. That was a relief. As previously stated, Louise didn’t know what she’d do if she actually started liking people and one supposes that comment works in the opposite direction.
Comfortable now that this was just a social thing, or so she thought, she continued along.
