Obie was vaguely aware that he was shifting to lie back. She moved fluidly with him, never once stopping her kisses against the side of his throat. Slowly she shifted again, slipping her legs on either side of his lean body so she could lay fully on top of him. Downwards her lips went to his tanned collarbone and she shivered lightly at the feel of his hand sliding against her bare skin. Working her lips back up the other side of his neck, she brought her free hand down along the length of his muscular body to the edge of his shirt. Claiming his lips with hers again, she kissed him hard as her hand slid easily up under his shirt and over the muscles and raised scars of his stomach.

Ra flinched out of habit as her hands ran over his scars. Somehow none of it mattered anymore, everything felt too good. Smiling at her touch he ran a hand into her hair and urged her to look at him. "Can we slow down?" He asked teasing traching a finger over her skin. "I don't want us to ruch things."
Broadening his smile he brought his hand up to her cheek. "I just want to hold you and talk for a while."

Obie felt the flinch. She knew he was self concious about them, but she liked the way they felt under her fingertips and palm. As he urged her to look up, she pulled her lips away from his and smiled down into his eyes as he spoke. She shivered again at the feel of his finger tracing a line across her skin. She leaned down and kissed him softly before moving to lie next to him, her head tucked neatly on his shoulder.
"You're in luck. I just want to talk and be held," she smirked lightly, sliding her hand back under his shirt to rest lightly on his stomach. She didn't know why, but she craved nothing more than the simple intimacy of feeling his marred skin under her palm. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"When do you think you will be going home next?" she asked softly, her eyes drooping lazily in the contentment she felt at the moment.

"Oh, so I wouldn't have had a choice if you didn't." He said with a soft laugh, wrapping his arm around her and resting his hanf on her hip.
He closed his eyes for a few moments smiling at the feel of her her hand on his stomach. It felt nice, relaxing even. "Whenever. This weekend, or next. I suppose it depends on when you are free. We could go this weekend if you would like?"

Obie joined in his soft laughter and idly began to trace the tip of her finger back and forth over his skin. "Hmm," she smirked. "I think I might have to check my schedule. You know me. Never a moment's peace." She tilted her head back and placed a butterfly soft kiss on his jaw and smiled. "This weekend would be perfect."
A soft silence draped itself over them, marred by the music from the closing credits of the long forgotten movie. Breathing in his scent again, she allowed her eyes to close. "Is there anything you think I should know about your home or customs?" she asked and smiled softly.

"Hmm, my mother is pretty laid back." He said with a smile, enjoying the feel of her finger as it traced across his skin. "She gets up really, really early to pray before sunlight but obviously that won't effect you." He sighed happily and rubbed her hip gently with her hand. "Serioulsy I think the main thing would be to just relax. You don't need to worry about dressing right orsaying the wrong thing, you'll see from my aunt in the dressing area and my mum loves to hear people's honest opinions on things."
He reached for the controls with his right hand and switched the TV off. "My mum might come across a bit scary at first, in her manner and accent. but it's just part of the job. A facade if you will."

Obie smiled at the simple gesture of his hand rubbing gently against her hip as she listened to him. Smirking slightly she sat up on her elbow and looked down into his eyes.
"You honestly think someone like your mother would intimidate someone like me?" she asked, pulling her hand out from under his shirt and reaching up to brush his hair back out of his eyes. Still smiling, she leaned down to place a soft kiss on his lips.
"Ra... why are you so hard on yourself about your scars?" she asked, slowly sliding her hand back down the length of his body resume resting against the warm bare skin of his muscular abdomen.

"You can tell me that again when you have met her." He smiled closing his eyes briefly as she kissed him. At her question he shifted so he could look at her and moved his hand to her waist. "I never used to be bothered." He bagan with a light shrug. "But when I went to my last school I got bullied for them, the boys made me feel like I was a freak. I mean, I play a lot of sport to make up for it maybe because they are ugly scars." He smiled at her and looked down to her hand. "I'll show you." He said moving away from her and sitting up. Not even worrying about it he pulled his shirt off over his head so she could see it properly. "See, he said tracing his finger across it. You have to admit it's not the most pleasant of things. Also the ammount of them. My back arms, legs." He said gesturing to a thin scar that dissapeared over his hip and under his jeans. He shrugged and lay back down against the pillow. "Now I know those that judge me on them don't matter."

She hadn't expected him to pull away and just slip his shirt off. Though she definitely wasn't going to complain. Sitting up she swept her long hair back over her shoulders and allowed her eyes to roam over his dark skin. Smiling warmly, she looked up to his eyes and kissed him softly again.
"People can be such idiots sometimes," she murmured softly against his lips and looked down at his exposed chest. God he was hot. Her mind didn't even register the marks as a flaw. Slowly she started to trace her fingers along the silvery lines and she tried to understand what it must have been like. She had never been in a natural disaster before. Where she was from tornadoes were the curse of the land, but she had never been witness to one.
"How old were you when it happened?" she asked softly, tilting her head to the side as her pale fingers began to slide down the long scar that disappeared beneath his jeans. When she came to the waistband of his pants, she stopped and looked down into his grey eyes, her hand resting lightly where it stopped.

"Two." He said raising an eyebrow as her hand stopped on the waistband of his trousers. He liked the way it felt. "I don't remember it though, aside from the nightmares." Slowy he reached his hand up to play with her silky hair. "I remember all the operations after, skin grafts, I grew up in and out of hospital."
He smiled warmly, looking into her eyes and pulled her close for another soft kiss. He had never spoken of it like that before, sure he had told people the basics but never that much detail. Pulling back a little he studied her face his fingers reaching up to touch the mark under her eye gently.
"Tell me," He bagan softly. "When were you most scared."

Obie dropped her eyes as she hesitated in answering him. Slowly she turned her head slightly and kissed the palm of his hand softly, her eyes closing.
"After my friend overdosed, I lost myself completely. My uh, addictions spun out of control until one day I very nearly joined him. One minute I had been in my room, the next I was in a hospital and days had passed," she said softly, slolwy opening her eyes again and looking into his. She reached up and slipped her hand over his to hold it gently. "After that my parents put me into a rehablitation facility. Those days were scarier than the hospital because I can remember them. Very clearly." She had never told anyone about any of that part of her life. She may have mentioned it, alluded to it, but she had never explained it in such detail. Slowly she slipped her fingers through his as she searched his eyes to see his reaction.

Ra listened to her carefully and bassaged his thumb over the soft skin of her hand. He was shocked, that much was true. He would never in a million years have suspected that she had once had a drug problem. He swallowed and used his free hand to tuck some hair behind her ear. "It must have been terrible." He said softly. He experienced withdrawals every time they took breaks in his medication. The cold sweats, the sickness, shaking. He could only imagine how scary it must have been to kick a hardcore addiction.
"It just prooves something though." He said, keeping his eyes on hers "What a strong person you are, to have been able to come out the other side."

"Hmm," she purred softly, a small smile teasing the corners of her lips. She moved gracefully to slide one leg over to his other side so she could sit carefully on his bare stomach. Placing the hand she held on her hip, she released it and leaned forward to fold her arms on his chest, her long hair spilling forward over her shoulders. "The flaw with your reasoning is that if I were truly strong, I wouldn't have done it to begin with," she said softly, looking down into his eyes. "But I'm glad that I did come out on the other side. Everything seems more than worth it because of this moment right now," she smiled warmly and kissed him again.
"What's the most embarassing thing that has happened to you?" she asked with a light smirk.

Ra shrugged and smiled, watching with amusement as she moved. "Maybe not truely stong then, but most definitely strong enough." He smirked hooking his thumb over the waistband of her jeans.
He shifted a little as her hair cascaded onto his chest and slipped his spare hand under her shirt to rest on her side. "It's not really that embarrsing, but my grandmother calls me 'angel'" He rolled his eyes a little and blushed. "When she would come to visit us in Tehran I would be hanging around with friends in town, she'd see me and shout it across the market or wherever. My friends used to laugh at me so much for it."

She couldn't help but laugh at little at his answer and facial expressions. It was really quite adorable. She unfolded one arm to reach out and start toying with his hair.
"I could see how that would be embarassing, but being a girl, I think it's cute," she smirked. His hand felt so warm against her skin. It felt good to be so intimate with someone without having any expectations.
"So where do you see yourself in ten years, Angel?" she asked with a teasing smirk.
