Hello my name is.., well everyone just calls me Vash. My favorite author and book....I have more than one, but I will only list a few, k. ^^ Um...
Authors and their books: Jacqueline Carey(Kushiel's Dart...can't remeber the other books), William Nicholsan(The Windsinger..haven't read the rest), James Clemens(have only read two of his books, but I'll still list: Wit'ch Fire, Wit'ch Storm), Christopher Pike(Alosha), Holly Black(tithe), Cameron Dokey(Sunlight and Shadow), Herbie Brennan (Faerie Wars.((don't know if that is spelled right..)), Purple emperor), Suzanne Weyn(The Bar Code Tattoo), Jukie Gonzalez(Wings), and many others.... I am a fan of both fiction and non-fiction um...what else to add. I read not only out of fun, but to also increase my knowledge..cause I'm not exactually the brightest. I'm a vibrant person and have ton of personalitly and constant mood changes. Plus I am a bad speller..working on it ^^. That's all for now.

Hi. I'm Zizzykitty. You can call me either Zizzy or Kitty. My friends call me Kitty but some people call me Zizzy. I joined a few days ago but I never came to introduce myself. I have alot of favorite books but I like Hearts in Atlantis and Eye of the Dragon, both by Stephen King. I am actually not a fan of horror but my mom loves Stephen King so she suggested Eye of the Dragon to me and said it wasn't a scary book so I read it and got completely hooked on it for a few weeks since it is a long book. I like alot of books those are just the first ones I thought of because I am still in the middle of Hearts in Atlantis.

I'm Terena, or at least I was... Somewhere along the line I somehow became 'The Demigoddess Terena.' But you can call me Terena! I have a lot of favourite authors, and even more favourite books, and there's no way I'm going to be able to list them all, so I'll just put a few of the best down here:
Authors: Mercedes Lackey, Pier Xanthony, Diana Wynne Jones, Tamora Pierce, Jasper Fforde, Eoin Colferand Jonathon Stroud
Books: the Elemental Mage series and Take a Theif (ML); the Incarnations of Immortality series (PX); The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, the Castle series, and Time of the Ghost (DWJ); The Immortals series (TP); The Bartimaeus Trilogy (JS); The Eyre Affair (JF); the Artemis Fowl series, The Wishlist, and the Supernaturalists (EC); The Spiderwick Chronicles by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black, and Sorcery and Cecelia/The Enchanted Chocolate Pot by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer.
If you can't tell, I'm a fantasy lover! 3nodding

Hiya! My secret identidy will remain secret, but i live in the Golden State of California (though strangely this year it has been rather cold...) Anywho, i love to read novels and manga. with novels i have a tendency to read high school drama, but i also like to read fantasy (yay fantasy!)
like most people, i love too many books to list, but i hold the Harry Potter series close to my heart because it was the book that got me interested into reading (I was in 3rd grade and i barely understood the book, but it was interesting xd )
as for authors, i like Philp Pullman and his series His Dark Materials. i cant remember her name, but i like the author of the books Speak and Cataylst (i have the book yet i cant find it at the moment)
yap that's it

Hi I'm Kiyae, I just joined (obviously) some of my favorite authors are Orwell, Rowling, Spinelli, Orson Scott Card, Dan Brown, Crichton (is that spelled right?), hmm...I like E. A. Poe too, though I don't read too much of him...(this is kinda hard, I don't really think about this too much...)...anyway... I like short stories (they're always pretty good, and when they're not you can skip straight to the next one) I'm a HUGE political nonfiction reader and comedy reader (George Carlin kicks a**, I guess he should be on my fav. authors list shouldn't he...) I read Shakespeare a LITTLE, only three plays and a few sonnets, I never really like him. Moving onward, most books I like. I can sit and read the dictionary if I'm bored enough (I hate looking words up in class because I always find biger words that I don't already understand and I read those instead) and I'm considering reading the encyclodepia...though I might put that one on hold for a while...

hi^^ i'm new to the guild (well, obviously). the book that right now is foremost in my attention is Lies My Teacher Told Me, about the eurocentricity of American and Western culture as a whole, as taught to history students, as focused in the United States. It's a good book to read, for anyone looking for a different point of view. Also recently on my mind is Nickle and Dimed, which is a study of the culture of the poor in this country, and the hidden class system. Both study the hypocrisy of nationalism, and the need for a second look.
i also like harry potter.

As a public-school drop-out, the title itself is intriguing. wink And because of your description, I want to go out and buy a copy.

My name is NeptuneGazer. My favorite book is The Sacrifice and that's in my favorite series, Daughters of the Moon. This series for those who don't know about it, it's about 4 teenagers who have powers. One can turn invisible, another can go back in time, one can read minds, and the last one has premotions. They are daugters of the Moon Goddess, Selena. They are sent to Earth to fight off the Atrox and it's followers. It was Selena who saw the Atrox when Pandora opened her box. When all four are together, their power is stronger than if they were alone. It is their duty to destroy the Atrox if possible. I really recomend this series.
I like mainly fantasy books or anything about history or mithology. My favorite author is Tamora Pierce.
