"Ah, well I haven't met many other Pridelanders so I probably wouldn't know him. I met a leh-purrd but that's it really." She shrugged and let the bug crawl onto her paw, smiling as she watched it struggle to walk with her fur tickling it's belly.
"I suppose that's good though, otherwise you'd get headaches all the time. Everyone needs a break!"
"So what will you do after you find this seer? Will you stay in the Pridelands for a while? We could be friends!" The prospect obviously excited her.

Fedha huffed lightly and shrugged. "Probably not. He's an adult anyways, from what I gather." If not an adult he had to be just younger than that, thoughing too young.
His face blanched at this prospect and his lip twitched. Friends with an annoying little thing with herself? At least she wasn't always annoying. "Well I could keep visiting you." There, that was like saying they could be friends with out actually seeing it. Besides, his interest in her hadn't yet died. "And I'll only be staying if he will be able to teach me. Na-Be seems like a nervous kind of fellow..." But Mrost had said not to let appearances fool.

She was on her paws and dancing happily as he proclaimed them friends - in his own strange way of course - and gave a small 'squee-ing' sound. "You're my very first friend Fedha'Kialio, that makes you special." If she was normal she would have pounced him then or displayed some sort of affection, but as it was she couldn't do that.
Instead she showed him with her expression and the swaying of her golden tufted tail.
It was only when the grey male named the seer that the smile left her face and was replaced by pure shock.
"Did you say Na-Be?"
She swallowed nervously and took a few steps back, it was very clear that she was familiar with that name.

"Well of course I am special.." He said skeptically. But it wasn't because it she deemed it so, it was because of the gifts he was born with. The same gifts that turned to a curse for the female.
Fedha didn't get what was up with him and making first friends for females. It was almost a tad annoying...
His eyes lit up as famaliarity rang out in her voice, though she was nervous about something. He had to go about this carefully. "I'm sorry, I wasn't aware you knew him... is.. there something wrong with him?" Confusion masked his features of greed and power-lust. Oh if he could get this information out of her!
It was curious, how this little cub knew the seer. Perhaps she was taking lessons and hadn't thought to mention it? No, she has said she wanted to learn too, or hoped she could learn.
Fedha just hoped this didn't screw up.

She beamed happily, obviously thinking that he thought he was special because he was her new friend. Then with a small purr she lowered herself in the grass and raised her tail, waving it gently from side to side.
"No, no that can't be right." She said, the shock dying down now, "Na-Be ain't no seer, I know him very well. You must have heard wrong, that's all." For some reason her mind screamed at her to not mention he was her father....not just yet anyway.
"How did you come to hear about him anyways? Is he like...famous or something?"
Somewhere deep down inside her, knots tied and untied in her stomach. Could it be true? Could her father be a seer? Could this be where she had inherited the trait from? Could it...?

Not a seer? No, Mrost couldn't be wrong. Fedha was sure that Na-Be was a seer, less why would he feel such great a need to get to him?
But how did Ivie know Na-Be? Just because he was part of the pride, or for some other reason? He ignored her questions flat out. "How do you know Na-Be so well?" He said slowly. And then just to satisfy her he lied. "I met a pridelander on the way out.. she was also a seer and mentioned him in passing. That was all. My curiousity was pliqued.

Ivie to say the least was a terrible lier and the look on her face clearly stated she was hiding something. Her pupils jerked from side to side as she tried to think her way out of it. But clearly Ivie wasn't smart enough to think on her feet.
Fedha had said that he wanted to be trained so what was the harm? The fact was however that if Na-Be hadn't told his own children about his powers than would he really tell a stranger?
Something was wrong here.
But what could she do? Fedha already knew something was going on and she didn't feel intelligent enough to beat him at a mental brawl.
"If I tell you do you promise to keep it secret? I don't think anyone was supposed to know..."

Oh how hard he had to work to keep the glee off of his face! Instead he made himself look a little hurt by her words. "Of course I'll keep it a secret, we're friends, aren't we?" Yes, Fedha wasn't beyond twisting things and using other's words to his own advantage. If she wanted them to be friends.. well he could be a friend.
Poor Ivie, she had no clue what she was getting herself into.

"Okay then, since you're my friend I guess you're trustworthy!" She smiled and moved a little closer - closer than she usually would. She wanted to whisper the words and obviously that could only be done in close proximity.
"Na-Be...he's my father. But...I don't think he'll teach us because...well I think it's a secret cos I didn't even know until just now."
She drew back a little and gazed at him with sparkling green eyes.
What had she gotten herself into? A whole lot of trouble no doubt.

Shock was on his face for a meer instant, then smoothly masked over. Her father? He was a rather lucky fellow, it seemed.
"Your father hasn't told you he's a seer?" He looked puzzled, and then intrigued. "Is your mother.. also a seer?" Did having a seer parent influence powers more? He hadn't known his father at all... though he knew his mother wasn't a seer.
"Rediculous. I will convince him to teach me, no matter what." His words were a bit feirce, but he'd have it no other way.

She pondered on this a moment, trying to decide whether her mother could also be a seer. She had never mentioned any of this either but apparently that was commonplace in her family.
A part of her felt resentment for them, they had no idea how she suffered and didn't even want to share her pain by confiding with her. The anger was clearly written on her face.
Uh oh..it seemed her mood had swung.
"No, he has not!" Her anger was not directed at all towards Fedha. "How dare they keep secrets like that from me?! They could have helped me...they could have stopped this curse!"
She regained her composure just enough to answer his question, "she hasn't said but she listens to the wind and talks about it guiding. Maybe she is a seer of a different sort."
"Can I be there when you try to convince him? I want to see the guilt in his eyes as he speaks the truth for a change."
The anger did not leave her eyes but her expression did calm a little.

Fedha was quite amused with her anger, almsot delighted by it. It was fun to watch others as they got angry. "Hmm, I see. He should have told you sooner, or told you period. But perhaps he was waiting until you were older. Maybe he did not know you posessed powers." Yes, he would play the role of good friend.
So her mother was odd as well... Oh had Fedha hit the jackpot? "Yes, you can be with me." He smiled slowly. Now, there was just the part of Tricking Na-Be into thinking he had nothing to do with Mrost.

She nodded and raising up onto her paws she turned to gaze up towards Priderock. "He should have told me. I may be a cub but...but I needed them and they....they didn't do anything." Her anger was now turning to sorrow but she was determined not to spill any more tears.
"My home is in a cavern near the lower part of Priderock. It's easy to find, when you're ready you can come there and talk to my father.
She started off but not in the direction of home. She needed to go be alone for a while and think. "Goodbye Fedha'kialio! Till we meet again!" And with that she left him to his own devices.

Fedha smirked and watched her go, the delight spilling onto his features. He needed to sleep on this, he was sure of it. He needed an answer to what might or might not happen.
He rose and slipped awat himself, though not yet toward pride rock.end
