I_Hate_H2s Sorry I didn't post a riddle today but I had to leave early for work. This one is for tomorrow because I have to get up early again and I won't have time to post then. How did Mark legally marry three women in Michigan, without divorcing any of them, becoming legally separated, or any of them dying? He's a vicar!

Okay I actually don't know the answer to this one so if you manage to get it please tell me how.
Which of the following statements are true?
1. At least one of these ten statements is false. 2. At least two of these ten statements are false. 3. At least three of these ten statements are false. 4. At least four of these ten statements are false. 5. At least five of these ten statements are false. 6. At least six of these ten statements are false. 7. At least seven of these ten statements are false. 8. At least eight of these ten statements are false. 9. At least nine of these ten statements are false. 10. At least ten of these ten statements are false.
Edit: Okay I think I know the answer. If you get the same as I do then we'll agree that it's the right one but if you get a different we'll have to sit down and ponder for a while.

All of them are true
Ultimately if all 10 statements state that they are false, and this one implies that all of them are false then they all must be true. Due to the gramatical nature of this riddle they use the word 'at least' so all of them are correct if all 19 statements are true. whee hope I get it. CAn I write a riddle?
(regardless of your views on christianity)
What's more powerful than God More evil then Satan The poor have it The rich need it And if you eat it you die?

Well I'm fairly sure that can't be right. It more straightforward than that if I'm doing it right when I figure it. But then again I couldn't really follow what you said all that well so you may have found another answer. But for the rest of you, there is an answer in there. It's just one of the ten.

If you get the same as I do then we'll agree that it's the right one but if you get a different we'll have to sit down and ponder for a while. My answer: I think statement 8 is correct. Assuming that 8 is true, this leaves 9 which are false. Statement 8 says "At least 8/10 are false". If 1 is true, and 8 are false, plus at least one more, makes 9 false statements.
9 false + 1 true = 10 statements.

The riddle is still, as of this moment, unanswered. So I'll be leaving this one for you folks to puzzle over until someone gets the right answer. Which should give me time to amass some new ones for the future.

C'mon people, this riddle isn't going to answer itself. I'll give you a hint though, it can't be 8 because if it were 8 then 1-7 would also be true meaning that only 9 and 10 would be true, making 8 actually false. And I think you guys missed a little something: It says which of these statements (plural) are true.
Using what I just told you and the logic I put out for you you should have an easier time answering the riddle.

Ohhhh I understand now, I think the answer is 1-5.
Here's why I think: This is because if #1 is true then at least one statement is flase, which means 2-10 could all be false, if #5 is true then at least five statements are false (6,7,8,9, and 10). The five false statements would be 6-10 bc of the word "at least." If AT LEAST 5 statements are false then AT LEAST 4,3,2,and 1 statements are also false, making the first thru fourth statements also true, in addition to the fifth statement. But statements 6-10 can't be true because if they were, say we were using #6 as an example, there aren't 6 statements that could be false, it would only be 7,8,9,10, which is only four statements! Ah HA!!! I should WIN something! rofl
