((Wisdom teeth.... ouch. :O))
Bronwen fished around in the bag until she discovered a bottle of beer; not having any other way of choosing a drink, she went purely on whether or not she liked the label. She twisted off the cap, and took a drink.
She swallowed a bit too much, choked momentarily, and blinked. "That's... different." She took another drink.

Angie's face cracked into a grin. "Told you," she said, taking another sip from her bottle.

Bronwen shrugged easily. "It's okay, though. I don't think I actually know you, though... I'm Bronnie."
She peered down into the beer bottle curiously, and took another satisfied swig.

"I'm Angie," she said, nodding to Bronnie. "Nice to meet you."
She gazed at the bottle in her hand, then took a longer drink from it, coughing once into her sleeve afterward. "Gooood stuff.."

"Yeah, me neither," Angie said, grinning. "And I guess we're pretty safe too, 'cause.. if anything happens.. we can just say it's Cy's fault if we wanted to," she said, bursting out into giggles.

Bronnie laughed. "Yeah, exactly! It's always his fault." She giggled good-naturedly into her beer. "But I don't mean that meanly, Cy," she added suddenly.

Elle crept along through the forest, wings tucked tighly on her head to avoid branches and trees, and tail twitching from side to side. She'd heard the sounds of voices from a while back, and Elle was curious.
Very quietly, almost as if she was stalking them, Elle moved closer and closer. She climbed up a tree that was right next to them, and peered down through the leaves and branches.
...she knew these people! Almost all of them, one she'd seen at Easter, one was Bronnie, one was Bronnie's friend, and one was... well, someone.
But Elle didn't leave the tree, sure that she could sit here and hide for a while.
...She also forgot about her tail, which was now swinging around in full view.

Angie giggled and nodded enthusiastically. "You're just easily blame-able, Cy," she said, making up her own words.
Then she spotted something from the corner of her eye, and turned to stare at.. Elle's tail. And oh what staring did occur.

Cyrus grinned lightheartedly at the girls. He'd pulled another beer from the bag, seeing as Angie had decided to keep the one he'd given her. "Right.. S'all my fault, huh? Like I poured the stuff down yer throats." His comment was followed by a snicker that probably would've developed into a laugh if he hadn't noticed Angie wasn't paying attention anymore. He leaned towards her and glanced in the direction she was staring - and hey! What was that thing? It was all scaley and wiggly and...and... "...Izzat a snake?"

Staring at their faces, Elle tried to figure out what made them go quiet.
...snake?! Where? Elle started to peer around the branches, as if she was sure there was a deadly snake ready to take a nibble at her. And as she did, the tail started to dance and jerk around.

There was a long pause when Elle's tail began to shake about. At least, there was from Cyrus, anyway. Then, something in his alchohol-buzzed mind clicked, and he leapt up from the tree he'd been leaning against. "It's attacking!"

Angie simply stared at the flailing tail, head tilting further to the side. She, thinking that this was the most appropriate thing to do, considering the situation, held out her bottle of beer to the 'snake'. "Want some beer?"

Elle looked down, trying to see a snake. They looked like they were looking at something underneath her, which wasn't a good place to be for her.
She saw the end of her own tail, didn't reconize it and freaked out. The next thing Elle knew, she was a tangled pile of limbs on the ground, and snakeless.
"...um. Hi."
