As Quin pressed the detonator, Shouyin would come up behind him, launching a ten bullet spray of assault rifle love at anyone trying to exit the mines before they could fall on them. He'd take a crouched firing position, in case his fingers needed to touch the ground.

((Alright. One of my PCs is nagging me incessantly so I'm posting here.
I support Quin and Shou's entry into the thread. None of you guys got to the Mountain Pass yet cause Quin and Shou are in your way.
However...Quin, you need to be more specific about these explosives. Where did they come from, and when were they placed to detonate the mines?
You make it sound like they magically appeared.))

((Early on in the thread, yesterday morning I had some troops up here setting up a base of sorts. We had some dynamite with us and we rigged most of the caverns to blow and a portion of the mines. I know I don't out rightly express in what concentration. But incase this was going to fall they were prepared to blow it all in a last ditch. Most of the explosives are currently in the dank caverns so there is still possibility for them to escape the cave in.))

((Doink. It was never stated that you set up explosives. It was stated that you had demolitions experts with you, but then you left without telling them to do anything.))

Nihilistic_Impact Coming out into a cavern Quin was wishing for a dry set of clothes about now. If his sense of time was right night would be upon him soon and he didn't want to catch a cold. Moving through the cavern he came to a man made structure and new he had stumbled upon a set of mines that had been abadnoned a while ago. He would need to get a team together to hold these areas. Set up demolitions and so forth.
Nihilistic_Impact He had to get back to the camp, that's what he needed to do. But his body was starting to lag and his cane was lost, well his sword would do. Standing at the entrance to the mine he looked down upon a path; sighing he continued his trek.
Nihilistic_Impact Setting up a camp of sorts at the entrance Quin ordered two to set up guard as he and another were assembeling the radio they had brought. Blessing Tzeentch for the wonderful inventions of technology Quin picked up the hand unit and using the attena to boost his range called into HQ. "This is Quin, I have taken the twilight woods. We currently have ten troops plus a driver and a dump truck protecting the area. They should have set up some traps for any hostiles so they should be all right for a while but any heavy fighting and they'll be gone. So you might want to send them some re-inforcements. We have also taken the Mountain Pass and are preparing to taking the mines and network of caves. I have some demolition experts with me to help with a little blasting, maybe we'll strike gold."
Nihilistic_Impact Picking up a spool of radio cables Quin looked at the others and motioned with a jerk of his head into the mine. When they got to the flooded area he checked to see that his equipment was sealed. It be no good if anything got wet now. Sure of things he jumped in and made his way with the others behind him. It was a good thing they had taken the mines. It would be estential for their radio network.
There be a problem, no explosives were set.]

((All along the way I had them setting up traps, in the twilight woods, along the mountain pass, and then again in the caverns. You really think they're not going to set something up here? It's not out rightly stated but you'd have to be an idiot to think they wouldn't since that's what they've were doing and did do.))

((After having backread through this thread, I see that Quin did have a team of demolition experts here. However...you never actually mentioned them putting down explosives. Or where the explosives were. Given this, I feel its a little much for you to be instantly burying everyone in the Mines with them.
So, if Quin is uninterrupted in pressing his detonator, my opinion would be the caves rumble and start to shake. The side branches you aren't in start collapsing.
If the settlers start running away, they have enough time to make it out of the mines before they collapse.
If they stay and fight Shou and Quin, I start making "OH ********" rolls for the caves to fall on their heads.
Does this sound reasonable?))

As soon as Quin stepped into the caves three bullets came to him from the gun in Alan's right hand. The gun in the left hand fired three more, but not before Alan saw Quin start to raise some sort of thing. Figuring it was a weapon, there were instantly about three hundred pounds of force vs. Quin's fingers for the whatever it was to come to Jacknife. It would float in the air next to his head untill he inspected it further.

As Shouyin came into play with an assault rifle Zen quickly put up a barrier of blood to deflect any oncoming bullets, this barrier stretched from wall to wall ceiling to floor. "Damn, what's the plan?"

Shade sighed, seeing the wall go up, he instantly pointed behind him and cloaked. "We go back," He muttered darkly and started to run for the water, pushing the still emerging group back into it, with him behind them.

If they went back, they would be crushed by falling rock.
The caves were coming down from the bottom up. There was only one way out.

Before any bullets coud impact though a barrier was formed, it was odd in that it looked sort of like blood, but there was no way that could be possible as that amount of blood would have left a man empty more then twice over. Not to mention the fact that it somehow had enough strength to block projectiles.
With Jacknifes line of sight obscured his TK blast instead struck the wall Quin was close to for support. Furthering for the collaspe of the mines as the detonations began.
My what a show it would be.
