Isdra growled in frustration at the 'queen' not agreeing with her, "Please my Queen, think about this! You have a map of the castle in here even! Do you want do you want the world to find a way to assassinate you so easily?!" At this point, Isdra slammed her hands on her desk and stood up. "I can understand history of the kingdom and fictional novels, but Pagen knowledge, castle maps, and such?! Do you want people to be in greater power then you?!"

Reign was slightly distracted by the old man leaving. She got up and walked over to Isdra. "And what happens when we start deciding what to leave out?! First it will just be pagan knowledge and castle maps, before long, almost everything will be taken out because someone says that it should not be common knowledge. Then there is nothing left in there for people to learn about!"

Papina couldn't help thinking, Man hath no fury like a woman's scorn. Now where did she heard that before? It certainly applied here. She didn't even notice the old man leave, so caught up was she in all this. 'The king' wilted a little under her 'queen's' anger, flinching backwards until she was almost at the edge of her seat. "Now now my dear..." A wimpy attempt to calm her down. Papina was fairly certain that the queen would turn on the king instead of calming down at that half-grown comment. Silly king. "Not everything will be taken out..." Just almost, right? "We'll just have to... put some... restrictions... on who can see what..." Oh yeah. Real tactful there. He was going to get clobbered for sure on that one. Hopefully Reign wouldn't act that part out...

It all clicked for Isdra. She got to play the BAD person! Or at least in a way the bad person. Though, that luckly wasn't a problem for her. "See! Just restrictions my Queen! Please, this is for the sack of everyone's good!" Isdra, at this point, moved out from behind her chair and stepped in front of the 'King,' who, at this point, seemed to be in emence danger.

Reign glanced at her two classmates. "Men! You just don't give up! You'll keep going until you get your way and then later on, you'll find something else you'll want taken out. And then something else." She could tell that the 'king' was starting to give in. Her main enemy now was the 'knight'.

'The king' was squirming quite a bit now. "Not taken out..." she protested weakly, "Just... restricted. Placed deper in the library." Surely having the knowledge at all would make her happy, right? Plus, since she was a queen, she would have access to all of it. Wasn't that enough?

Huffing at the 'queen's' overreaction, Isdra desided to wait for Mr. Dude to come back. She was gonna do her next part, but she wanted to wait for the props he was getting. She had no clue what KIND of props he was getting, but all the same, she wanted to make sure she did nothing wrong.

Reign rolled her eyes. "Restricted would just be the first step. And who would have access? How would we determine that?" She glanced over at the 'knight', who was being rather quiet.

Papina squirmed even more as she read the info on the paper. 'The king' knew the order of who would have how much access, 'he' just didn't think 'his queen' would like it. Those with more power would have more access. As simple as that. Commoners would only have access to 'safe' stuff, assuming they could even read. Now, to work up the nerve to say that out loud to Reign.

Just then Dr. Smith came wandering back in. "Good news! I found a couple old pieces of treasure lying around!" He hefted a sack that jangled. "And some curtains! I'm sure the library won't miss them."
Kneeling on the floor he dug out a few things. He piled a crown, a purple and gold curtain and a saftey pin to one side, a scepter, another purple and gold curtain and saftey pin to the other side and pulled out a flashlight with red 'flames' taped to it and a white curtain out. Cutting a red cross out of paper he pinned it to the curtain and handed the two to Isdra.
"The crown is for the queen and the scepter is for the king. The curtains can be made into robes!" Mentally the Doctor congradulated himself. This was turning out to be a wonderful class!

"Nifty!" Isdra shouted, actually happy about this for the first time. Maybe Mr. Dude wasn't so lame after all, though only time would tell for sure. After struggling with the 'robe' for a good couple minutes, Isdra finally got it on. "Good. Now. Back to what we were doing."
Turning Isdra took the flashlight, shining it on the floor as a test first, then turned it back off. Looking back at Reign and Papina, Isdra went back into 'knight' mode, "I'm sorry, my queen, but I cannot allow this. This is for the sake of the country!" She turned, walking fast toward the bookshelves and holding the flashlight up like a torch at first. Then she tilted it toward the bookselves and moved it about, trying to make fake flames looking things.

Papina squeaked with delight at the props. She quickly wrestled the robe on then scooped up the scepter, briefly waving it around like a wand before holding it like she'd think a king would hold it. Now what was that flashlight for? She quickly figured out as Isdra used it like a torch and 'lit' the bookshelves on 'fire' right after saying... what again? There was a sound of protest on her lips that quickly died, and she moved towards Reign thinking that the king would likely move to stop the queen from doing something silly... like throwing herself into the burning building to try and bring books out. ((>>)) Hopefully she wouldn't have to actually touch Reign - she didn't have much control over her skill yet and didn't want to give Reign owwie rashes...
Now... to check the paper and see if she did it correctly...

Reign squealed as she saw the crown. She quickly donned both 'robe' and crown, grinning widely. Then everyone went back to their roles and Reign glanced at her piece of paper.
"No, stop! You cannot do this!" Reign tried to make her way past the 'king' to stop the 'knight'.

Isdra glared at the 'queen,' and continued what she was doing. "This is for everyone's good!" She threw in an evil laugh just because she could and she it made it seem more dramatic in her opinion. "Stay away if you know what is good for you!"

Papina 'risked' a glance at Reign. "My queen," she began in a low voice, "you cannot go in there. You'll be killed!" She kept her voice low, but carried the deep weight of of what the king must have been feeling at the time. She tried to throw an anguished look at the 'knight' but Papina wasn't quite sure how to do that, so a horrified look was the best she could manage.
((*won't mind one bit if Reign pushes her way past Papina since Papina would let her past if she did* 3nodding ))
