She sighed as she finally reached the stream. This in particular stream held a lot of memories for her--she had met Rahu here often times, and it seemed it was this place itself that she could consider a special, nearly secret, spot. Bending down, she took a drink, and then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a blue-gray blur speed past her, and she straightened. What in the world...!?

Rahu upped his pace to make sure he did not fall behind when as he passed through he saw a brown blur but one he knew full well was Aruna. Skidding to a stop, he turned around and blinked at Aruna for a few moments forgetting that he had been racing Tika. “Aruna?! What the heck are you doing around here?” was all he said as he never expected to see her around again as he been avoiding everyone though it seemed someone always managed to find him wandering. Right then he realized he had forgotten TIka and looked back to se if she had realized that he had stopped so suddenly.

Tika was curious aboutthe brown soquili she had seen as she racedpast, and upon turning her head to look a moment she noticed Rahu come to a dead halt. What was that about? She slowed her pace and turned back, cantering towards Rahu and what appaeared to be a brown mare. The mare had her hair braided just like she did. She flashed a grin. Obviously someone Rahu knew, perhaps a new friend? Tika pranced triumpantly as she neared the two. "Well looks like I win Rahu!" She grinned wider and stopped in front of them both. "Hello! Are you a friend of Rahu's? I'm Tika. New to the area." She looked the mare over and decided she was a very pretty mare. "I love your braids, so much like mine!" She flopped them around playfully and waited for a reply.

Aruna blinked again as she stared at Rahu. The scar across his chest was very faint now--as black fur had now covered it. Her own scar, however, was still seen... deep within her own heart, what she considered her darkest desires, she hoped "Rahu's Mark" would never go away. "Racing?" Aruna smiled a bit, though her expression turned out to be more of a smirk rather than a smile. "Since when have you been so kind as to indulge others' wishes, Rahu?" She turned to what seemed to be a hyper-active Wind mare. "A pleasure to meet you, Tika. I'm Aruna... and I suppose you could say I'm a friend of Rahu's." She smiled at the mare (or was it a smirk again?) and turned to Rahu. "You lost? Rahu! That appalls me to know that you were beaten! I thought you were faster than that!" she teased, chuckling softly.

Rahu snorted. " i shall have to blame my loss on you aruna since your the reason i stop. and i never back from a challege you should know that." he gave another smirk at Tika. " oh its on then and i highly doubt you two can show me up in a race!." flicking he tail, he eye both Aruna and Tika. " a tour of the land hardly any fun. and it really depends on what kind of fun your talking about." tossing his mane, he watched the both of them carefully.

Tika giggled at Aruna's suggestion. "Awww no fun. Ok well we can tour by racing!! A race sounds fun. I thought I've caught my breath and rested a bit." She winked at Aruna and tried to motion they should bolt and take a head start, turning her gaze to Rahu she smirked. "Care to find out now then? Unless you're afraid to challenge 2 mares you deem slower then you? Lets see how fast you really are!" She shouted with glee, nipped Rahu's mane sending it flying at his face playfully and took off, hoping Aruna would be close on her heels.

Aruna smirked at Rahu. "How 'bout it, Sir Blacky? You're on, then?" A smile, and watched as both he and Tika took off. Shrugging, she went at her own pace, a slow canter. She'd get faster once the others got tired... after all, this field was wide and long, and one could keep up the same, fast-paced speed for too long... and... wait a minute. Did anyone mention a stopping point? Oh dear... she took off at a faster canter, hoping she would get close enough to at least point out that missing feature of the race.
