But Him letting it interfere in our lives when we are good, devoted servants to Him doesn't seem right to me at all. There's something else in this playing field, just don't know what.

i know so many people who say that they are christians but still want to have sex befor marrige,and it makes me think of how horrable this world realy is.so currently they are all on my prayer list.

Ezekiel 3 i know so many people who say that they are christians but still want to have sex befor marrige,and it makes me think of how horrable this world realy is.so currently they are all on my prayer list. In that case pray for my ex-who-still-acts-like-we're-together. And for me sad He keeps dragging in sexual sin with our relationship (it's a good thing he's thousands of miles away from me right now because his summer job is working on a boat with some dude) and the pressure causes me to fall quite a bit. Since he knows I'm no longer a virgin (wasn't exactly a great person before truly seeing the light for what it is) he finds ways to tempt me that just...ugh cry I could really use some prayer for him and me. Also for the ex that I WANT to get back together with. He's been falling under it too. He actually broke up with me because of all the temptation he felt, and I'm praying that he can soon talk to me again without being tempted, that we can be together again and keep God as own main focus. Yea...please pray for us as well!

Read Job. We just have to suck it up and keep on pressing on. Just like it says in Romans chapter nine, we do not have the right to question God. Who do we think we are to do that?

We may not have the "right" to question God, but we are allowed to ask Him to release us from things.

Ever heard "Softer To Me" by Relient K? It's a really good song that deals with basically the same ideas that you're talking about. The world's being harsh and its hard to deal with so the song asks God to be softer. It says something along the lines of "I know that you suffered more than I have, but the world is still hard." I totally butchered that xp But, you get the idea. I fully understand where you're coming from and so does God. But, you still need to suck it up and keep fighting. You don't want to, I know. But we HAVE to run the race and fight the fight. Because if it was all about us, then as soon as we became christians we would die and go to heaven.

ScarredImage Sex has been a prominent factor of our lives since God created us. It was meant as a gift of love to be shared with our spouse as a means to become one and grow stronger together. It is also one of the most important and talked about things in the bible. Today's society has ed that gift so horrendously though that it's hard to tell what is fact and what is fiction for most people who are unbelievers. So I thought I should start this topic as a means to see what people thought about in the world today (and also since the guild is running slow and I think we could use some new topics...sorry if this is a repeat thread). Teen have so many conflicting views of today it's scary. Cybering, ography, , abortion, s, pills, date , ion, all these things are polluting our world today. And everybody I know who's been curious about my faith has asked me this question repeatedly: "Which of these things are ok and which are not?" Now the bible teaches us to think on what is good and that ing in the mind is ing of the flesh. Most people think ion is ok because they're not having with someone else or that cybering is ok because the actual act isn't being done. "It's a way to release the hormones without actually doing anything that can cause pregnancy or STDs." Maybe not, but what about the spiritual wounds? Or are there any? This has been a huge question I've seen posted all over the Morality and Religion ED forums ever since I signed up on Gaia. So, as Christians, what are your views? What is wrong and what isn't? Is the excuse of not performing the actual acts relevant? Should schools allow s and information on the pill to be distributed during ed as a means of "protection" when (in my opinion) it could also be a means of encouragement? What are your views? (I'll post my later if this thread is active) I totaly agree with you
