I've really never been impressed with Code Lyoko. The animation is sub-par (the computer generated stuff is pretty good, I guess) and it's really repetitive. The best part is the theme song.

true...but the real reason I love code lyoko is, as an animator, I love the pilot for it. it may be poorly fandubbed in english, but the quality of the show is darker. check it out...here....at...

www.toonamiarsenal.com

click the miguzi button on the sidebar on the left and go down until you see "Garage Kids-Code lyoko pilot" and click the picture. watch the goodness. it feels just like a cinema clip from a ps1 rpg a la FF7 or Shadow Madness. it makes me happy.

Um ... Frank Miller had a huge impact on children's animation. He like revolutionized the industry with new shading techniques and darker plots ... and stuff ...

... sweatdrop

Speaking of Miller, did I tell you that my copy of Wolvie #1 is apparently signed by him and Chris Claremont?

that's fun. I remember when I first decided to start reading rom. I picked up Rom #1 for a $1 only to find out it was signed by Stan lee back in 81.

ah, spector's out for the night. good night to all and continued fun and good wishes to those at otakon and wizard world chicago.

I just finished Prey. It was <******** awesome. I completely agree with Kilowog that this is the best fps in a long time.

Beating it unlocks a harder mode (probably much harder), but I don't think I'll be doing that for a while.

Tell you what, though, if I have to fight one more alien ******** that comes out of a giant v****a in the wall, I'm gonna scream.
