Jesus was definitely a hippie.
He was wandered around with twelve other guys telling stories that no one understood with a 'make love, not war' atitude.
He might as well have been smoking pot and making peace signs.

We had discussion about this as well at my Bible study... my youth minster was like 'Yeah, they're all expecting this really powerful king and they get jesus the hippe." It was pretty great XD

I just like to point that out becasue it's so obvious it gets overlooked sometimes...
Yeah, but look how many hate crimes are commited agianst say, homosexuals just because they're gay.
Even people who claim to be Christian often well.... hate people based on their sins. Which isn't right (obviously). I'm not saying anyone here thinks that, I was just saying. It happens more than we'd like to realize.
