Eccentric Iconoclast Homurakitsune Have any tips? I would really love to have fluency in Niora, but its not like I can just watch Niori movies or listen to Niori music, which is what helps me immensly in German... ---- How long have you been working on Aquénandi? Try keeping a journal. Journals are great for learning any language. Talking to oneself works well too. Four and a half years. A journal like a diary? Hmm...must go buy a notebook...I don't think I'll need a lock considering it'll all be in Niora! xD ------ And that would explain a lot. I've only just started on Niora, which happens to be my first language that actually panned out, about half a year ago...

Yeah, people have issues reading my journal too. mad D
Mind you, for the first three or so years of that it's not been a very GOOD language. Accurately described as a n00blang. I really started fixing the flaws of it a year and a half ago or so. mad D

I need constructive critizism if I'm ever going to improve. ^_^ (Other than learnig English spelling, that is. x3)

Not really. ;Þ
There ARE some Anglicisms present in Niora, like the fact that you use a preposition for the dative and just the standard form for the accusative and if you want to avoid ambiguity, your command form in the second post should probably read "feed to the dog" because you're feeding food to the dog and if you don't specify it, it could mean that you're feeding the dog to something. Poor dog. >.<
As long as you're aware of these, it's fine.
I don't really post much on the language because I don't know what to post. I could give you grammar, sure, but giving you wordlists would be difficult because of the whole lack-of-set-vocabulary thing.

And I actually would like to go edit that post now! xD Poor dog, indeed...*edits* ---------- Hmm... well you could put the most common roots down first then separate by catagory later on... I don't know, its your language, so I should probably stop butting in. xD

It really helps me keep organized. And that way it can be alphabetized, too. I'm an oranization ocd freak, though. It's probably why my sentence structure always stays the same! xD
