we practice at my high schools senior parking lot during the summer and on the tuesday practices. but on the wednesday practices we practice in the football stadium.

We practice during class, so we can have the football feild all to ourselves. But our band doesn't do field shows very often. More often we march around the track, except when the P.E. class is using it (which really pisses off our BD)

we practice in a "park" That's actually downtown, and sketchy
We line the "feild" every weekend for practice, becasue it's owned by the city, they can't yell at us for practicing there, plus it's by two highways, nobody cares.

We usually practice on the field and the parking lot/basketball courts...and sometimes the lunch quad

In our school we practice in the parking lot with a football field painted on it.....or we go down to the lower field on the other side of the school.....the thing about that field is ......there are no lines to refer to.....its a pain in the butt, and the bugs down there are the size of ur fist...it's so gross.

Let's see. We practice in the school parking lot in Texas summer heat, and completely unpredictable weather. On some days, usually nights, actually, we get to practice on the practice field. Because we share a football stadium in our district, we only have a practice field on our campus, so the football team is usually on the field. So most of the time we're in the parking lot. We have a tower that looms over our parking lot field that the directors use to get a bird's-eye view and yell at us. It's so fun.
But not so much when it's over 100 degrees like it gets standing in the middle of the pavement with the sunbeams mingling with the sweat in your eyes as every nerve in your body screams for a moment of rest, but you don't dare move when a director's eye is constantly glued to you and a section leader you're striving to impress has you in his sights as well. Oh, what am I saying, it's absolutely incredible! I love every minute!
Oh, am I rambling again?
I hope I managed to answer the question in my mind's meander.

We practice in the parking lot in front of our school. They painted lines on it
xD;
We even use the street names to turn directions.
Instead of saying left our director yells
" EVERYONE FACR BLUEBIRD"
or
" FACE ROBIN"
And then the other two are Eckhert and Lobo ln.

It gets hot out there....because Texas heat is brutal sometimes.
Though we've been getting a nice breeze everyday.
But sometimes they feel generous and let us practice inside the Band Hall.

after it rains we practice in the basketball court outside and if the football team is outside we practice across the street and we put round up to mark the hashes or normally we use the practice football field

well, our band gets to practice on the practice field pretty much right in the middle of our parking lot. lol the field is it's own little island lol
problem is no one cares to actually make it good and it's also lopsided so in the middle it's the highest and as you go either side of the field you go down-hill rofl
also there's so many potholes plus there's so much dust you can barely see. haha
but when we're lucky, we practice down in the stadium where it's actually nice lol

the great of practice at gym: the gym is very big, and have a basketball court, a stage... and a very private place to dating with your boy...
the terrible of practice at gym: we must share the court with soccer players and baseball players. If you don't careful, you can hit by a baseball.

our school practices on a small grass football field almost right next to the band room and across the street from houses haha

We practiced on a parking lot for all four summer of my high school life. My junior year they put turf on the football field, so we practiced there in the mornings and during night practice. This past year, they build a new high school, and put a new turf practice field right next to it for us to use in the mornings. Too bad we had to practice on hot asphalt for most of the summer!

My school practices at our school's football stadium. We had to fight in order to practice there too because last year we got an astroturf stadium (which is really nice to march on but is a b***h in the summer heat. Apparently (according to the school board) the marching band would ruin the field with the marching on it. Yea my school doesn't like the band that much (I think they secretly hate us). And when we get kicked off of the astroturf (because even the little kid's football is higher up on the totem poll than we are) we have to go to the stupid backfield that has holes everywhere and the lines and hashes are really hard to see. Thankfully we don't get kicked off the other field too much.

My band has a band hall! biggrin but then... for marching practice -_- it's near a airport and we practice in a parking lot really really annoying but we don't do field shows. So we just march and march! and march!!!!... Did I meantion it's at night...
