I love this series! I didn't think Yusura looked like a girl, but my sister walked into the room and was like "What's his name?" >.But in any case, I've only read the first volume minus the ministory.

I just read the end of Appare Jipangu. I love it. Samon's so funny. Evil trick he played, though. It was a good ending. A bit quick, but not in a bad way. It wrapped everything up nicely, and it was funny. Added bonus. whee

I read all of it from www.touchoffragrance.net . They also have a couple more by Yuu Watase. I have no idea if Watase's Sorai finished it, I can't download things, so I don't really check.

I...just...finished it! The ending was perfect heart Plus I skimmed through chapters 1-9 and I made my decision that Samon is my favorite "hot guy." 3nodding heart Now if only someone would even consider publishing it... stare

Hmm...now that you mention it...he is! 3nodding Appare Jipangu has to be the most...I dont know what category to put it in sweatdrop I don't wanna say comedy (even though it does dominate) because there's something else about it.. Anyway, Samon really is great. I felt so bad for him at the end of chapter 9...of course I was on the floor laughing my butt off (quite like this -> rofl )

Though Appare Jipangu! was short (only 3 volumes, sobsob), Samon and Yusura made such an impact on me (yes... they must be together forever and make lots of pretty little babies!). They shied away from the irritating rabu-rabu bit actually made me go "Geez, I wish they'd be show a tiny bit more rabu-rabu towards each other." whee I usually find myself thinking like that while reading shounen manga (typically action manga from Shounen Jump).
Appare Jipangu! was a bit shounen manga-ish and tons of fun. I love Watase-sensei's humor and the facial expressions she draws and she really let it all out here, which is another reason why I love it so.<3

I think this question was already answered but is there any chance of it being published by Viz? It's pretty new...someone should assure them it would get a alot of buyers cool

It's not that new... Watase wrote it during Ayashi no Ceres. Plus, it isn't a long series, and it doesn't follow her normal shoujo line. So I think that the chance of it being published is very small. sad

You could always make your own translating company, and then translate all of Yuu Watase's works that way. Then we won't have to put up with ruined names.
