Dampylle Ben Hyuga Dampylle FushigiRei I don't even know what Paladins are. there was a time when the Paladins were quite well known in the forum I remember those days. I admired the paladins back then.(I still do.) we are still around my friend...... just keeping a slightly lower profile at times is all though if it can be arranged, I will see if we can attempt to revive the application process so those of you interested can attempt to join I noticed that the paladins haven't been showing themselves. The only ones I see are Rolf, Veras, Faust, Super Sailor Moon(Rarely) and yourself. Sounds interesting. I'll keep this in mind.

I used to be part of the Paladins, but I left for....well I don't even remember now. Probably because I was planning to leave Gaia or something.
I approve of this topic though. It's nice to see someone other then me (and someone that is obviously better liked in this guild then me, so people will listen somewhat) taking a stand about all of this.

ECUnlimited I used to be part of the Paladins, but I left for....well I don't even remember now. Probably because I was planning to leave Gaia or something. I approve of this topic though. It feels good knowing my first ever response in this guild resulted in people approving of me.

I left because of the hipocrisy. They say they should lead by example, not flame, and all that s**t, so what did they do? Not that for the most part; They just sat around whining or being asses. ******** they have/had a god damn troll as a crew member.
Were doing all the things the Paladins were supposed to do the purpose for this guild, I'd probably leave this as well with the way things stand now. sweatdrop

Were doing all the things the Paladins were supposed to do the purpose for this guild, I'd probably leave this as well with the way things stand now. sweatdrop you were not exempt from acts of hypocrisy as I recall Eusis. but that is not the point..... not everyone in the guild was a hypocrit as you say, and though some do slip from time to time it is no where near regular enough in most cases to qualify them as hypocrits. though I will admit the Sick Puppy/MadCom incident was indeed without excuse.... and the inactivity of some was rather frustrating as well

I think keeping Super Sailor Moon as a crew member after all her god damn trolling, repeatedly, was a little more than a slip. So her, Sick Puppy, and the excessive lack of activity are inexcusable "incidents". Probably more have shown up since I left or were there in the first place that I never saw.

actually sicne your exodus Eusis I do not recall any other members being banned...... and since SSM switched accounts she has not been "trolling" as you say (at least not that I have seen)
And I appologise if I seemed to be attacking you, twas not my intent.... I just dislike blanket statments in general is all
and sadly since yoru exodus the guild itself has also fallen into disuse for the most part..... between lack of actively posting members in some cases, and lack of new applicants it has been for the most part dead
but I do understand yoru frustration with inactivity and the like.... I just difer on how to deal with it, I for one would liek to see more active members
but the only way to do that is to accept new applicants and try to remedy the things that some objected to.... but that requires effort on everyones part

I signed up for the Paladins in... I think my third or fourth month, but I took back my sign-up before... Damn, it's been so long, I can't even remember the Captain's name. This is my opinion on this type of discussion: Guys, you don't need an organization, or some fancy badge, or anything like that to help the forum. Infact, it makes you look snobby, as if you're part of a group that're like the "Elites" of a forum. It puts down the newbies as if they're only part of the "other" group (Everyone else, basically, a unlabeled group). Seriousely, "recruiting" and "scouting" and all that s**t? It just makes Gaia more complicated, and, as we all know, complicated forum =/= fun. If you show a newbie the main thread for some game that they like, then you're doing it as a Gaian, not just because you feel it's your "duty". (Although you can't report repeat threads, as they aren't... against the TOS, unfortunately.) Also, if an a*****e is part of some organization you create, and he goes around being a troll, then that creates a bad word for anyone that's apart of said group. If he's simply an unmarked troll, then no one will pay him any attention. Besides, why would we need to turn this guild into a "Paladins 2"? We have fun chitting and chatting here, while drifting in the forum for a little while before coming back here to rest up from the occasional surge of stupidity. Creating "guidelines" for protecting the VGD would make this Guild... Not as fun. (Trust me.) So guys; just be yourselves and do your part so the VGD doesn't completely suck. Because IMO, that's what being a Gaian is all about! * Leave it to Beaver theme plays* (Although I really wish we could create a petition so repeats wouldn't be allowed anymore...)

Which of course is completly understandable. so you think if a noob came in the VGD and started calling everyone a f** and posted insult images that we should just give him a warning and thats it? Yes. Even some members who are on here for a long time do that. Not only n00bs. And most of the time those of us who have been here a long time know better but do it anyway, so therefore have gotten multiple warnings. Then we get banned. I think the n00bs who do that should pay the price. Slap a 3 day ban in their face and see if they don't start shaping up. nice i agree. We're Regs right? We should start acting like Regs then. We can iether help or be part of the problem. And we can help by helping the noobs and showing them right from wrong. We cant help everyone I know. But we cant sit around acting like a bunch of whinnin bitches because the mods hated our sigs or banned us for minor infractions. WE KNOW THE RULES WE NEED TO ABIDE BY THEM and be like a big brother or sister to the newbs and n00bs. Sounds like a younger sister to the VG Paladins is at work to me.
