We don't even HAVE a marching band at our school, so you guys are lucky, it's a corps and the closest one if 45 min away. Here concert band is .5 credit each year. But you only need one P.E credit so one semester and you're done for all of high school.

it should...but it won't...at least were i live it won't...its considered either a fine art or misscelanious(spelled it wrong...but oh well)...making it a pe credit class is like the devil making jesus gay...it would never happen (not against gays ^________^'...just that i know jesus would never become gay).

Jewlz2007 Band IS a p.e. Credit, if you have 4 years of marching season that equals two years of p.e. At least here in TX. *nod nod* Maybe it's because band in Texas kills you. I've been in volleyball *quit cuz of band*, and I can say that band kills me a lot more. Times like.. eight hundred.

In my school, you aren't required to take P.E., but you do have to take health. So, we just do marching band and take health. It's that simple, thank goodness!

at my school, mb is 5 pe credits (you need 20 to graduate) and we do a ton more work than any sports team. take footall, for example. i think that they practice for an hour or so every day, maybe 1-2 hrs on saturdays. we practice for 3 hrs a day and on saturday practices, we go for 6 hrs.

I wish. I only had to take two years of PE, though.

It was a PE credit at my school for a while. But we were the last class that got to use it. I don't see why not. I'd much rather do band than school PE.

My school is REALLY stupid. Marching band gets nothing. We win a big competition, it's not announced. But one of the janitors ate a banana for lunch, LETS TELL THE SCHOOL! Anyway... we'd never get it as a PE credit. They don't think we do enough.

scjsport as a PE credit? All of our band mom's are trying to get it as a PE credit. I mean, we do more work the all the PE classes. Maybe even all of them combined! So what are the opinions? it is 2 credits here-one performing art and one pe. we have 4x4 block (in an odd way) and band is the whole year
