Silverah looks up at the newcomer and smiles. "We sure do!" She exclaims, standing and reaching out to shake hands. "I'm Silverah. You must be Shy's new candidate."

The name sounded familiar... the box, the one that she'd tripped over. "Ah, so you're Silverah, nice to meet you. Thank you for the gift, I haven't opened it yet, I'm waiting for my jar to... grow? Or something of that ilk."
So, this Shy person didn't just exist in her imagination. Well you couldn't win them all. "You'll have to forgive me, I'm still a touch skeptical about the whole thing, although I'm beginning to receive overwhelming proof." Ronnie spread out her towel on the sand next to the group.
"Do you mind telling me about your, fae, was it? How did they grow and what not."

"You can meet my Fae if I can ever get her out of the water, which seems quite unlikely," replied Silverah. "Still, I can tell you what to expect. After you talk to Shy, it'll only take a day or so. Usually you'll be in the other room, and you'll hear something, and when you go in they'll be sitting there. That's how I've always heard it told, at least."

"Is it hard? Raising one? I've not had children before, so I'm not sure what to expect." Ronnie squinted, staring into the surf, she could make out a few children playing in the water. Wondering whether they were the fae children. "They're just normal kids then? Playing in the water at the beach like everyone else?"
The thought went to soothing the girl's nerves. It would be okay then.

" I know Aurion is the best frien of my Sis Nalani" she said and point toward her sisterin in the beach.

Kasumoto suddenly felt nervous. He was the only male in a mass of females, fae and otherwise alike. He compteplated leaving then, as he felt he was somehow bothering them. He picked his jar up and was somehow comforted by the loud buzzing from within, it sounded like the fae within was rather pleased to be given so much attention. He blushed slightly and set the Jar back down and remained silent.

"I don't think it will be. Just more worrisome than their childhood years, but I think that's the case with every young thing. Teens are usually more... stressful," Amyla replied before smiling up at Nalani. "Sorry... I'm Amyla. And Kayce is... still in the water," she said, waving her hand in the direction of the swimming fae. "I hope it's okay for Kayce, developing her power and all. She hasn't shown any real interest in magic besides being interested in her dreams," she said, shrugging abashedly.
She fell silent for a moment and then noticed the man fidgeting about. Poor guy; he looked a bit out of place. Well, he was the only male. "You can come sit down, you know. We don't bite, or I don't anyway," she added, grinning a bit.
Kayce nodded. Yes, he was a strange boy, that one. "He is blonde, looks like a girl, and acts like a snob," she replied, eyeing Iris curiously. "I haven't met any of those other fae. It is nice to meet you too, Iris," she said, still treading water a bit.

Ronnie smiled an Nalani, yes, if this woman was really here, then the 030 project must really work. "There's still so much for me to learn." She pondered this for a moment, watching the kids out in the surf. All she needed to do, was to stop thinking of this as a supernatural thing and just imagine it as childbirth... without being fat. So maybe it was a good thing.
"They have powers?" Finally catching on to what the coversation was about, Ronnie leaned in closer. "What kind of powers?

Surprised by the voice, Amyla glanced to her side. Hey, when had that woman gotten here? She must have been very distracted to not notice. "Ohh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," she said rather guiltily. "From what Shy told me, the powers vary from fae to fae. Some are healers, some can control things like time or memories, and some have powers over specific elements like fire. It all is dependent on the individual, according to him."
Dependent on the individual meant Amyla had no idea what power Kayce would be manifesting. Splendid.

"Oh geez, I hope my apartment survives then..." Ronnie thought of the small space, with everything bleeding into everything else. It was not made for more than 1 person, though technically it had a second bedroom. "I'm Ronnie by the way. I have a jar.."
She gestured out into the sea, "Are one of those yours?"

Amyla chuckled. "Well, maybe you'll have a nice well-mannered fae who likes to sit in corners and read or knit or something," she replied, trying to imagine Kayce being that calm all of the time. "I'm Amyla. My Kayce is... there!" she said, pointing at the dark-haired fae bobbing up and down on the waves with her two peers. "She's .... uhhh... a bit strange, but I think they all are in some ways."
She brushed a bit of sand off her towel. Darned stuff was getting everywhere. "What gift did you put in the jar?"

Ronnie grinned, "I take it, you don't have a nice well-mannered fae?" Unsure of which fae the woman was pointing at, Ronnie opted for a polite nod. "Strange then? In what way? I was under the asumption that all children are strange when they're young."
She pulled on her sunglasses and laid back on her towel. Might as well tan while she was here. "Me? I put a crane egg in the jar. I'm not sure if that's animal sacrifice, or not. Me and my conscience had a row over it."

Amyla grinned right back. "Well, she is nice and well-mannered... when she feels like it. She is sort of like a cat, very aloof and apathetic toward those around her unless they are interesting. She does what she wants when she wants, and I often have to resort to outright bribery to get her to cooperate," the woman chuckled, watching her fae out in the water.
Crane egg? Now that was an interesting choice of gift. "Hmmm... never heard of a live offering being made before, but I guess there is a first time for everything," Amyla pondered.

"On the bright side, you know she's definitly capable of being well-mannered. That's a comforting thought." Ronnie tugged at her swimsuit strap. "Cat like? Was that a result of your offering? I didn't even really think about how the offerning might affect the child... of course I didn't believe it at first, but still, I guess I was kind of careless."
There hadn't been a live offering before... that slightly bothered her in the back of her mind. "Shy told me, specifically, that it was supposed to be a live offering. I hope... well I hope the child turns out alright." Maybe this was the first test run? It seemed rather inconsiderate to her, what if it didn't work and her child turned out damaged mentally or something.

"Nereida's mine," volunteered Silverah. "The green one." She hesitantly searched the water for her child and saw that she was easily the farthest out. "There," she stated, pointing. "Her gift was a vial of ocean water. As for powers, most likely something water related but I don't know. Shy must have something special in mind if he wanted living gifts.
Nereida sensed a lull in the conversation and, trying to revive it, exclaimed, "Wanna play pirates? I know where all the best driftwood swords are!"
