I don't play any...my mom says I'll get addicted! (She knows what they are because a family friend has become addicted and basically put his life on standby.) What difference does it make? It's not like I have something better to do! emo

I've tried stuff like Runescape. I don't care for them too much, because it's all about leveling up. And at some point, that just gets boring.
I'm currently into Guild Wars. I like it because of the level cap- it means you have to actually be able to play well, not just have a super character. You have to develop a strategy other than "Let's kill something easier until we level up".
Of course, I originally got Guild Wars because of the price. You buy it just like any other game, but you don't have to pay a monthly fee. Since I support my own gaming habit, this was awesome! I've bought all 3 versions so far, and love them!
And as far as addiction goes, it's got me hooked. But I've also put it down for a month, and been able to pick it up later without any problems. It's very nice for people who have busy lives.
If you want someone to play with, or want to know more about the games, feel free to PM me.

My Mom plays Neverwinter Nights all the time with her friends. It's pretty annoying. She hates leaving the house due to this.
I guess the fact that she's that addicted means that it's a good game. sweatdrop

oooooo! MMORPG's biggrin I love them! I don't have a lot of MMORPG games, but I like Guild Wars and Maplestory. I am thinking about quiting Maplestory because I don't play it that much. It takes forever to level up gonk Guild Wars is really really really goooooooooood!

~Played~ RuneScape - Been playing for about 5 years now... with about 2 years break in between. DragonGodess - lvl. 49
World of Warcraft - subscribtion ran out, and I'm poor so it left me. Only played for about 3 months
Final Fantasy XI - played for nearly 6 months, and money once again ran out and killed my account.
~Playing~ Fly For Fun - Its a gpotato free mmorpg, and its addictive. Atleast to me it is. ^_^;

Jo Savage I wanted to play Guild Wars but my brother sold it. I pretty much just play WoW but my other brother likes to play counter strike and Half-Life 2. When you say he sold it, do you mean he sold the disks or the account? You can still play it without the discs as long as you have an account.

I find MMO's quite dull. Maybe if they made one with fun, original gameplay instead of making it centered around being social.
Gaia's MMO, on the other hand, I'm greatly looking forward to. What makes this one different?
All my friends are on Gaia, so I can play it with them.
With other MMO's (Guild Wars, WOW, etc.), there is some purchase involved in either the game itself or a monthly fee. Gaia is free.
And browser-based.
