We are not going anywhereI actually didn't pay her much attention. I normally hate females who play the "damsel in distress" part, but that's if I actually pay attention to them. Kairi's not the case. For me it's like those "main" characters that you actually don't care about. I mean, I like her relationship with Sora and all that, but the way she played her role in the game wasn't as impressive/memorable as it needed to be being a Princess of the Heart and all that. Thinking loud and clear
Where will I be in a year? Yeah, I'd probably like her better if she played a kickbutt Tifa-ish role. xD

There is a lot of hatred directed at Kairi. I, myself, dislike Kairi but not to the level that some take it. I dislike her because she is a goody too shoes damsel in distress. She strikes me as a badly thought out character and is overused as well. I said my piece. heart

Xykk I like her. I wish she did more, but that's video games for you. The girls never get to do anything cool. She is kinda stupid in places in KH2 though. sweatdrop Maybe it's her voice? Or Sora fangirl jealousy? razz

any other character than Selphie... *lol*
I really love every single character
(besides stupid Selphie) in the game
and their role in Sora's tale...
and I cannot understand why anyone
would feel otherwise... but, hey...
it's their own choice, not mine.

yuki-san86 I hate Kairi in the first KH (sorry) But not in KH2. I don't know I guss its just one of those things where you hate something but you don't know why. I also absolutely positivley HATE Areith from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. >:3

I hate Kairi in Kingdom Hearts! In the second one I like her! She's pretty and isn't annoying! 3nodding

It's amazing how many people hate characters for hardly any reason no? People fall for guys like Riku and Sora because they're hot and sometimes people look at their qualities and like them. But when it comes to Kairi, it's only because people see her as a friend to their video game crushes and people get jealous and worse, they hate it because they can't accept the fact that she's there getting Sora and Riku's attention. As long as Kairi is special to SOra and Riku, there's no point to listening to people that say 'Kairi sucks' because the fact is, Sora and Riku don't think she does and apparently the creator likes her enough to make her. So just ignore those people. Sorry if any of you take this offensively. So if you're gonna say Kairi sucks, give a GOOD reason all right?

I don't hate her som much in the second game as I do the first.....In the first game she is always making Sora and Riku fight (ie: they both like her and she knows it!!) other than that she is weak and needs to learn to fend for herself and stop waiting for Riku and Sora to save her!(They are too busy making out lol yaoi joke..) But I liked her in the second game. She looked better and actually fought . . . sorta...

Kairi is kewl, and n kh1...she wuz wierd 4 sumreason, and i like her better n kh2, dunno y
and...i can't really remember aires(i tink) voice n kh1..but...n kh2 she sounded like...a android or sumthin...O.o or it's just meh....>.>

Well, I used to hate her for some reason, and I don't even know why...But now, I like her. I don't know what caused me to hate her in the first place, or what changed my mind.

Reasons Why I Don't Like Kairi (a list)
- she's a mary sue (specially in kh1) and a damsel in distress
-she's POINTLESS
-she can't fight
-she doesn't really have a keyblade (Riku just handed her a stick with flowers on it)
-her voice is annoying
-Namine is much better
-she doesn't deserve to be with Sora
etc...etc....

I personally have no problem with Kairi... (she doesn't do enough for me to notice her) but if you think about it, you would,t have Kingdom Heartsd without her! ...maybe... but anyway they really need to make her do more!!!! give her some ninja training a couple swords and set her loose on them heartless!!!! (maybe then ill star to aknowledge her)
