Don't listen to her. If a girl hits you enough, hit her back, please. Just don't hospitalize her. otherwise you're letting her get away with it and someone bigger and stronger is eventually gonna give her a swift kick and she'll be in bigger trouble.

I like my (male) friend's philosophy: "I'd never hit a lady. But if she hits me first, she's no lady, and she's going down." I don't respect men or women who resort to violence, but I wouldn't respect a guy who wouldn't fight back just because his assailant is a woman, either. That really is a negative double standard, because it implies that a woman could never really do any damage to a man.
Exactly. Fighting in general isn't good, but "don't hit a girl" annoys me. My friend James live by that rule for the most part, except with me. xD He and I hit each other in the arm to see who can take more, it can get pretty painful sometimes. However he said that I don't act like what he's except a 'girl' to act like, I'm more 'one of the guys'.
