She chuckled. Only Delano could have a purple blush, seeing as his coat was bright red already. Actually, that only made him all the more amusing, but she herself had splash of red on her own face, but it was a happy one. And then he blew that one blade of grass... it was charming... the piece floated between them for merely a second before slowly floating down between them. The only other thing Aruna asked for was... she locked eyes with him, knowing that both were reading, searching. She felt as if she almost found it... whatever it was... in his eyes...

 Delano watched as she stood silently, but although silent, her eyes spokes many thoughts, words and wonder. He searched them, wondering if she felt as he did. He knew now what was happening to him, and he could not let that go. But it was too soon...too soon to ask....she might need time. Time to heal over the heart break previously...time to get to know him more...but soon...he would ask....his heart fluttered at the thought and it only made him smile all the more. She glowed a golden color in the pale moonlight. He was mesmorized by her....her eyes..those golden orbs...so alluring. He grew sleepy as they stood there in silence, eyes locked. He knew she must be as tired as he, and he wanted to feel her warm body next to his as he slept. "It is getting late, my angel, and we both need rest. Would you care to find a place for the night and stay with me? I can keep you warm next to me...and safe."

Aruna seemed to perk up at his offer. The story in his eyes left her feeling as if he could hear her harshly beating heart. Sadly... "I would love to..." she said, smiling, though sorrowfully. "But... My father. And... my bonded. They shall miss me... but..." Thinking back, she realized it wouldn't be too late. Actually, there had been times when she had never returned home for a night or so, so maybe...? "Then again..." she moved towards him, breaking eye contact for a moment, and then lay down (almost plopped down) tiredly, but happily. "I wouldn't mind... the warmth..." she said, suddenly feeling quite shy. She looked up at him, grinning. "It's getting late, my knight. Won't you stay with me?" Safe... A feeling she hadn't felt in the longest time.

Delano's face dropped with slight disappointment but he understood...he dropped his head a little..and then before he knew it she was on the ground asking him to stay?? how confusing...but it didn't matter. The results were what he had hoped for. "As you wish my angel and so I shall." Smiling, he moved to lay down next to her, in a manner so she could lean into him and feel safe with him supporting her. He allowed her weight to use him as her support and he nuzzled her softly. "Sleep well Aruna, and dream sweet dreams knowing I am here to keep you safe from harm" He softly nuzzled her cheek before letting his head rest next to hers, allowing his eyes to close and maybe doze but alert enough to awaken at the slightest sound of anyone approaching.

Delano's warmth spread throughout her body as she leaned against him, half-asleep eyes beginning to finally close. She was so tired. She felt drained mentally, expended physically. She hoped to never encounter Rahu again, for it would be too soon... little did she know what was soon to happen, but for now, she enjoyed the warmth and protection that was Delano. "Sweet dreams and good night, my handsome, strong knight," she whispered, nuzzling him back. And when I awaken... I will see him again, and feel that feeling again... I had no idea just how much I'd missed it... With that final thought, she fell into a deep sleep. It had been long since she had slept like this, so fitfully and peacefully.

Delano's eyes opened for a moment as she spoke and he watched as she fell aslepp. How peaceful and serene she looked as she slept. He watched her for a little while before allowing his eyes to close again. He could feel her heart beart as she leaned against him, her warm body next to his....such a wonderous feeling....and so he dozed off to sleep, dreaming of the future they could have...and thats the end of this rp thread ^^
