Martha reminds me of a 80+ year old woman who threatens to beat people with her cane while her blue hair stands straight on its end and she shuffles down the street.

I know this might sound a bit far fetched: But is there a possibility that this next Christmas special might bring back Rose just one more time? Maybe they're just doing an excellent job of keeping it hushed up? They say they have a suprise instore. . . . And that would explain why Martha Jones won't be in it. . . .

Might get a glimpse of how it's going for her, trying to set up the Alternate Universe Torchwood again.
It would be a hoot if she discovered there IS an alternate Doctor, wouldn't it? mrgreen

Thats a good theory, finding Christopher Eccleson Doctor but i think that there going to reveal that the Timelords are still alive and possibly revealing his past

neutral I don't really think she looks like she'll fit the role. I'll just have to wait and see though.

Lol thats what i thought about David Tennent but he turned out to be one of the best doctors so she will probably be a great companion.

I have a very low opinion of the latest companions...I think she'll be crap, just like Tennant. I got used to Rose, though her quality of acting varied all the time...

Anyway, my expectations are nil, so I can only be impressed or satisfied.

Well, I managed to quite badly damage my right knee, and now I walk with a cane. And it is very satisfying when I hit people with it.

You're so obsessed with that stupid cane.

I worry about this martial arts thing. I mean, are we talking the odd bit of defending herself or jumping around going HI-YAA and kicking people with her high heels (which I always hate about 'female martial artists' in bad programs - not that Who is bad, obviously).

I hop they either bring back the Timelords or Christopher Eccleston. That would rock. All the magazine here say that they'll be bringing back the *spoiler* Ice Warriors at some point. I doubt they'll do that in the Christmas special... but Ice does fit with Christmas.

Maybe one of our UK friends or better travelled US folks can tell me... what exactly is a satsuma? confused

From my plant/ tree books (and also from "Christmas Invasion"), it looks like an orange. From descriptions of it, it seems to be cross with navel orange and a mandarin orange. How does it taste? Semi-tart like a navel, sweet like a mandarin, or something in between?

Just curious. smile
