ninja "! sweatdrop " ninja
"Forgive me if my companion here is on edge with a canine in the room. We have had some bad experiences with them, no matter how well trained they were said to be."
Tinner leans forward and whispers into Dimitri's ear, neutral "Master...and Sir Brendon...fear dog? I...take care." neutral Whispering back before Tinner can even step forward toward the wolf, "Stop! Brendon and I can deal with it...only if it gives away what we really are. But not in front of everyone." Dammit! why did she have to get a dog! Of all the animals, it had to be a dog!
twisted Maybe she suspects, dogs can tell the difference between a living person, a dead person, and one the is neither. Plus, I'm sure Brendon seem like a walking over-sized treat. twisted

Kria looked at Dimitri with her head cocked, then padded over and pushed his hand with her head.
Kyte laughed softly.
"She wants you to pet her."

eek surprised Jolting back a bit, Dimitri stares at the wolf. Tinner on the other hand notices Dimitri's shock and reaches forward towards Kria. Speaking in his halting monotonous voice, neutral "Dog...scare master. Dog...bad. Tinner...protect master." neutral
"Tinner stop domokun ! It didn't scare me domokun . I'm merely just surprised that any animal, let alone a wolf would approach me. Resisting the urge to attack me is wonder enough, but wanting me to pet it is practically unheard of xp ." Gentling reaching out, Dimitri pets the soft, warm coat of the wolf. "Heh heart . So that's what a wolf feels like 4laugh heart . It's so warm and soft heart ."

Ugan strokes his thick beard and looks at the wolf. "Aye, 'tis a good lookin' animal ye've got there. What do ye think, Krag?"
Krag kneels and scratches the wolf between the ears. "Yeah, Krag remembers well the wolves his people kept. They was much bigger... meaner. Some of da orcs would ride dem into battle. Then one day Krag saw one of dem wolves tear off Yorek's arm..." Krag stares out the window, his mind elsewhere. He balls his fists, the muscles in his arms cording tight, and says, almost with a different voice, "Dat wolf never hurt any one again."

Looking at Krag and smiling with his eyes, "I wish I could say something like that, what happened to me will haunt me till the day I feel Her sweet embrace." Turning back to the wolf, Dimitri seems almost entraced by it and continues to pet it. ninja My master, are you alright? ninja
Yes Brendon, I'm fine. It's just that...it feels so amazing to be able to touch an animal. I'm not talking about Franken either...it's so different. It feels so warm! She obviously takes great care in this wolf, I can smell it. It smells sweet rather than rot like the ones that I can touch.
ninja Yes my master, I can see the difference in what we are use to compared to this one. As long as you are happy my master. ninja As Dimitri was petting Kria, Brendon backs away from them. Taking caution so Kria does not sense him.

((I'll ask the other person I mentioned.))
I make a slight grunt of disapproval, and turn towards everyone. "Yes, why don't we all just sit here and pet the wolf. And while we're here petting it, perhaps those Drow can come back and murder some more people. Hell, maybe they'll come in bigger force, and raze the city altogether. I believe we've been asked to do a job, and I think we should probably stop playing petting zoo, and get to the job."

Kyte scratched the wolf between her ears and looked around at everyone.
"Perhaps we should get started."
