The first Green Day song I learned on bass was Holiday. And I was super proud of myself because I could play along to the CD! Now I've memorized it and learned quite a few others.

Spiffylike. My first song was Long View....I think. It might have been When I Come Around 3nodding And an off-topic side note: Your sig rocks. Greg Sanders = pure awesome.

I wish I knew where my flute was. I used to rock out loud on that thing before I quit band. I was most definatly the best floutest in my class. I should learn some Green Day on that mother.

Last year, I struggled and struggled and struggled...
and I couldn't even learn Good Riddance. crying
That's probably becasue I don't play guitar. blaugh
Soon I will.
Well, one day we were hanging out in the church (not for religious reasons, actually, we'll all probably go to hell sweatdrop ) And one of my friends, Justin -who has a wicked band he plays bass in- picked up his guitar and just started playing Green Day songs. He couldn't remember most of the lyrics (either he was hung-over or stupid) so I eneded up singing most of them. Let's see, Minority, American Idiot, Good Riddance, Waiting, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and Basket Case. Just a fun day.
