It's okay keep it, call it an alliance pact between us. I said happily as he walked steadily towards the hamlet. Since your going to be helping me I guess we should know each others name. Mine is Valient Shadowing, ranger and wanderer of the world.I bowed slightly and held my hand out to the druid as I rose back up to a standing position.

I am Cyanalis, I guess you could call me a nomad more or less. Though you were correct that I'm trained as a druid. My animal companion is Setna, she's a wolf from the far reaches of the north. Cyanalis shakes your hand heartily with his ill-disguised claw. I believe you've met one of my other "traveling companions" as you might call them. I've never bothered to learn his name, but there are more like him, the others are much more friendly though....anyways, might you have some idea where this prisoner would want to go? Perhaps a tavern they frequented, a companion's home, anywhere that might help?

No he may not look it, but he's not stupid. A guild of some sort would harbor him. Their most be a reason behind all of this, if only I know who was the bounty hunter that captured him originaly. But since I wasn't the one, we'll have to search for him and the guild in the Downs. Well thats if this city is big enough to have Downs. Downs are the inner, poorer part of cities were theives usualy frequent in case you didn't know.

If what I've heard about this place is true, it contains anything and everything housed in other towns. Perhaps we should split up to find him more quickly. We'll meet back here later.
I better get going, later.

The minute you get past the city gate, you're surrounded by buildings and people. The streets swarm with vendors and merchants all hocking a different thing. Just by a passing glance you notice a man in a stall selling "orbs of empowerment" that are simply scuffed balls of glass, several food vendors selling everything from tripe to meatballs on wood skewers, and a blacksmith who's smelting metal in a furnace attached to a nearby building. The inhabitants of the town are equally diverse, as every intelligent race is represented.(along with some unintelligent ones) Orcs fight in the street, while a band of drows waits in a dark alley to mug the nearest passerby, and a few goblins are throwing down gold coins to bet on a game of chance involving dice and a deck of playing cards.
Roll a search check.

Search is plus 15.
As I passed by the brawling orcs I sneer and mutter a curse in orcish under my breath. My hand starts to finger an arrow, just incase the vile orcs heard what he said. Even though he focused slightly on the orcs but he still searched for the convict.
In this post I was trying to show his hatred towards orcs is more then just a racial enemy but as a monster he'd kill at will

That's a good idea, character depth is rewarded here, but not yet. I might throw a little RP XP onto your story for that though.
You wander around past the orcs, into a horribly decrepit part of town. Nobody here seems to have any scruples and the only fixtures here are bolted down, probably because the rest have been stolen. You can't seem to find where one building begins and one ends, as they're all just a mass of wood that may have just dropped out of the sky one day. You can't seem to find anything that even resembles a guild.
I'll leave the actions up to you.

I walk around the decrepit area, searching for any oddities, or secret passages. As I do this I try to keep my gaze away from people but always keep one of my hands on an arrow just in case one of these thieves decides to steal something new to this area.
Search + 15 and also remember I'm an elf for the secret passage thing.

As you walk around searching for something that resembles a guild you notice that nearly every building has a loose floorboard or false facade that undoubtedly hides something. You also notice that everyone here has taken notice of your presence. Some snear at you but do little else, while others say things to those around them. "Look what we have here" "Wonder how much money he's got" "Don't bother, he's one of them nature-y types, he's probably penniless."
Out of the corner of your eye, you notice a band of orcs was saying all of that.

I shake my head and then turn to the orcs, with my bow in hand. Tsk, tsk orcs should learn to hold their tongue when speaking to nature type person, because we nature types have ways to kill underbred filth like you. Ways that would make a master of torture cringe in fear.

I think we both knew this was going to happen when you showed hatred for orcs, plus I need to eat up time because nobody's posting besides you.
"Looky here, we got a feisty one Krusk." one says. "He talks big for an over grown tree sprite, don't he?" another responds. The gang of orcs pulls out various weapons. The one called Krusk takes out a menacing serated axe, the one he was talking to unsheaths a falchion, and the two others each take large glaives from where they layed at their sides. "I wonder what sounds he makes when we kill him." says the one with the axe.

He'll make no sounds because you will not kill this oersized tree sprite. I shoot an arrow at the one called Krusj since he's the leader of the group.
+16 to the attack, because I readied to hit anything that caused trouble.

Heres the fire damage, mate. Oh maybe we can ask around for some new players seeing as the ones we have are innactive if it bothers you that I'm the only one playing.
