Astro-chan Lady Leonardo I'd have it this week but they're releasing the second set of the Gorillaz figures I was pining over so I pre-ordered two of them. *dances* Which ones? I didn't think they looked very good but if they weren't so expensive, I'd have me a Murdoc! The "red" set, it's basically the exact same thing but their clothes are painted differently... though Murdoc looks exactly the same as far as anyone can tell. I love them! ^^ AND as of today I have $615 so we'll see if that's enough to pay for my computer and monitor. If so then I'm good, if not then it'll be two more weeks before I can start saving for Donovan. stare There is yet another roadblock though, and it's our HOUSE. Our yard is trashed, we need to sod the whole freakin' thing but not until after we put up a fence. Also we need stuff for the living room and game room (including a new tv) so yeah... I told my boyfriend I'd keep saving the way I was and buy house stuff as we went BUT as soon as I got enough for my doll I was buying him. So there's no "oh we'll get that next week" because if next week I have enough for Donovan then stuff can wait! This is why being an adult sucks. xd

I'm not old enough to get a job here (15) besides my babysitting one. And my family wants me to save for a car and driving lessons and college and s**t. stare Ahh, well.
On the bright side, I found a pair of cute 1/6 scale dollfies. My family told me I could have them for my 15th birthday. heart
Until I'm safe and secure in my apartment as an adult with a salary, I'll try using some savings to buy a bigger dollfie. 3nodding

*cries* I don't think I'm EVER going to get Donovan... that's what it feels like anyway. "Real life" keeps getting in the way so I haven't even ordered my computer yet though damnit it WILL get done this weekend!!!
After that as I've said a million times already I can start saving but money is tight and my boyfriend really needs me to help furnish the house, sod the back yard and put a fence up. I'll um... help pay for the fence... not do the labor. *L* Good news is that we're getting a ton of furniture for $500 but we still need to buy an entertainment system, tv and dvd player for the game room, and some bookshelves. xp

My road block is my driver's license. scream It's sooo evil! I hate driving but since I live out in the middle of the forest I have to learn how to...(I wish I lived in the city.. heart the subway..)
If I had a stupid driver's license and learned how to drive half way decent I could then, get a job...and then I'd be well on my way for saving up for my first dollfie. crying
Until then I'm just stuck saving up b-day money and watching the ground so I can pick up change..."Oh look! a penny!!! YES!!! 4laugh " lol

I already almost have enough money for my own BJD. My road blocks are:
1. I need a credit card so I can set up a pay pal account or something...
2. I need to find a way to get the BJD to my house without my dad finding the box and opening it to find a huge "doll"...He already thinks I''m fruity just because I''m going to college for art and am not interested in most sports except for Tennis (which he considers to be a fruity sport) not to mention that I sometimes make peices of my own costumes for cosplay which he thinks is fruity..damn him... crying
3. I still haven''t decided on which BJD I want...there are a couple that have been calling out to me...but I''m basically just waiting for that moment it just slaps me in the face and I finally find the one that''s just for me.... (ew...that line reminds me of some shojo manga..)
so those are my main road blocks....

That really sucks, Kyokoru, I would tell you to tell your dad to get a life and stay the hell out of yours, but that would be advice that I personally wouldn't even take. My dad is evil. He wouldn't let me get my girly until I swore to not get my motorcycle licence. Not to mention the fact that my dad is completely against my lifestyle at present so I know what you are going through. Maybe you should try talking to him about it and if all else fails, when you turn 18 get the doll that you want and just don't tell your dad.

My dad has to get used to the fact that I'm not a little kid anymore. lol and I'd never ever tell my dad that eek he'd prolly brake have a break down.... cry he's psycho like that (he loves his kids so much it hurts crying )...So yea..I'm going with the "get the doll that you want and just don't tell your dad." plan. 3nodding Yay for me!!

*sigh* I want a Super Dollfie.
I think I'll plan myself out.
Turn 16, and get a job Save for priorities like college....and a car I really don't want. Seriously. I'm thinking of getting up at the crack of dawn in the mornings when I get older and riding my bike. I can't afford gas. xd
Erck. I guess I'll hoard money from Christmas and stuff.... ninja College and a home to live in first. I plan to grow up a crazy little lady in a little apartment with a little job.....and a lot of dolls. xd
